From a Fantasy standpoint, this season sucked.  Too many inconsistent performances screwed me and a whole slew of other people.

From a reality standpoint, it wasn't as bad.  Even though the Cowboys did something in December, they still choke when it matters.  For the whole entire game last night (except for when the score was 21-14), I was like, "Here we go again."  I still laugh at all the Cowboys fans who keep hoping that each season will be the one.  I don't think a Heimlich maneuver could ever save that franchise TBH.  Other than that, I was rooting for the Chargers all the way since I really didn't want to see the Raiders in the playoffs.  Overall, this season has been record-setting.  3 QBs throwing for over 5000 yards including two that surpassed Dan Marino,  2 TEs setting receiving records (Gronk + Graham  = Ultimate 2 TE form), and the Raiders being the most penalized team in history.

Here's to seeing what happens in the playoffs (I'm kinda glad the tiebreakers favored the Niners for the #2 seed).

^ the parody will make the playoffs less predictable and with Detroit, Houston, and Cincinnati any team can come out and win

And the start of black monday with the Rams and the Bucs

Then again, they drew Brees and New Orleans at their place, tough one for them  :nervous

Yeah, I think when regulation ended, John Fox was like, "Screw FG, get a TD!"  First, Goodell nerfs the defense and now he wants to incorporate NCAA(CP) OT rules.  I think coaches will now think TD for OT (at least for the playoffs) which probably plays into the hands of a team like the Saints.  I think if Drew Brees is capable of throwing for 466 yards in 4 quarters, he could probably break Norm Van Brocklin's record in OT.

My family was rooting for the Saints except me...so I was jumping around in excitement in front of them when the Niners got that last touchdown XD.

Broncos just got owned by the Patriots again...Brady could've broke the playoff record for most touchdowns in a game but I guess he didn't feel like it hah.

Brady knew that beating up on a team that surrendered wouldn't make any difference (history like in '07) however I wonder if they can duplicate the performance against a much more maligned team like the Ravens or the Texans.  Because the best way to stop them has been pressuring Tom into bad throws which both teams can do.

Man, that Niners game had flashes of the 80's (see what I did there?).  After Jimmy Graham had scored the TD with 1:37 left, I was like, "Here we go.  Niners are gonna try for OT or screw it up".  But then a key pass to V.D. and then the T.D. to "V.D. the T.E." (-_-) I could feel the excitement of Alex Smith winning his very first playoff game before he grew grey hairs.  It's as if the drive that finished with "The Catch" was being re-enacted.

Forgot to post about this yesterday rofl but NINERS KICKED ASS!!!! :cow:

I admit, I'm not really a football fan (I actually fell asleep for part of the game >_>) but my family was watching and I got to see the AMAZING 4th quarter. Damn, maybe the glory days are back? lol

could be because of that throw to Vernon Davis, either a home game or the frozen tundra next week

As of now, the Patriots can beat the Ravens based on this week but they have a fighting chance with their Defense holding them over

Whoo! Packers lost! This is most pleasing since I am a Bears fan. I really hope the 49ers can win it all since they have the longest drought out of the 4 remaining teams.

What a shitty game by the Pack tonight.  I almost thought they shoulda put in Flynn, but the real problem was fumbles and dropped passes.

As for natme, who were the Bears playing this week, again?

I'm cheering for the Ravens/Niners for the Superbowl.  If they both get in, who knows...
