I didn't really want to fill up the pairings board with Fukumura threads (since she is paired with everyone) but this pairing will not be denied. It seems that every candid or backstage shot you see nowadays has Mizuki and Akari together. This one is becoming almost as well documented as Haruna and Ayaka.
So why fight it?
Here is a retrospective of the long history of Mizuki and Akari:
Ah…I guess the subject change from the “ Cold” of lame things to “ Cold” of Real cold. So please tell me about boring things you did this year
WADA: Well Harunan ( Iikubo haruna) from 10th gen and I are very good friends, so a few days before her birthday I went to the store to buy her present but I was unsure about it, so I took a photo and sent it to my mother with a message saying “ Do you think this one will be good?” but I made a mistake and the message went to Haruna instead. So I sent another message to her ( Iikubo haruna) saying “ Sorry I was sending this to mi sister and made a mistake”. I guess it was a lame thing to do. ( laughs)
And what did Iikubo say when you gave her the present?
WADA: When I gave the present to her she was like : “ this is…..”, I felt very lame. After celebrating her birthday , I was alone on the train going back home, this was the same train from when I sent the wrong message to my beloved Harunan , thinking on that I guess it was very lame, at that moment I thought “ I wanna go back to Haruna’s , I don’t wanna go home!”
ALL: ………( silence)
Wada-san, we are feeling pretty lame right now!! Everyone sorry for that
NAKANISHI: You and Iikubo Haruna-san are always together, you two are like two lovers.
WADA: what are you talking about!? We are a good friend that’s all.
TAKEUCHI: I understand you .because I also have a good friendship relation with Fukumura Mizuki, a 10th gen member of Morning Musume.
KATSUTA: Oh! Take-chan, you too!?
FUKUDA: When I saw some photos of Take-chan and Fuku-chan together I thought that Take –chan was very happy doing her seductive look.
NAKANISHI: That’s true, different from what she usually does.
FUKUDA: yeah, I think Ayacho and Take-chan are in love! ( laughs)
WADA: That’s so not true!
TAKEUCHI: That’s so not true!

Not her rival. She's talking about Akari Takeuchi, one of her close friends from the Eggs (the other being Ayano Satou). She drew a present given to both of them by Morisaki.

I remember those mugs. Morisaki gave Takeuchi for her birthday last year. I'm not sure when Fuku-chan recieved hers. Takeuchi and Fuku-chan were very close, and I think they are still close since Fuku-chan brought up those mugs. If you have not picked up on the hidden joke from Morisaki's present, those mugs are what you normally give to couples or newly weds. So Morisaki is kinda hinting that Takeuchi and Fuku-chan are so close that they are like couples XD ^^;

Best Pairing (TopYell+ 2014 H!P Great Dictionary)
In TopYell+ H!P edition (March 2014), there's a segment that's referred to as the Hello! Pro great dictionary - basically your run of the mill questionnaire.
Although it's set out by person, I'm arranging it by question instead, as that'll be more impartial (i.e. I won't just do Momo and Airi and not bother with all the others).
Just so you know, I'm probably not going to be following the proper question order either.

Rather than saying I'd like to see this, I'd like to do it (laughs)! The 2 of us are good friends. Not just us, but I think the fans would love to see combinations made up of good friends, such as the Yajima-san and Tokunaga-san, or the Mitsui-san and Hagiwara-san combinations!
* The PONPON Combi too, definitely!!!

Oh no, why did they get this person? Ew, gross. She has a short hair cut, the shape of her mouth is her defining feature (her “Mt. Fuji lips”), and she’s short. It’s Takechan. First, they make fun of her picture. They say that Ayumi looks pretty good in hers, but they just want to laugh at Takechan’s. Meimi says she gets upset because she wants to sit next to Takechan or give her a hug or something and Takechan will push her away, saying that she has never liked that, but then Fukumura Mizuki will come along, and suddenly Takechan changes her tune and is all over her. Kanyon thinks something is up between those two, as they’re always making eye contact backstage. They also talk a lot in secret and whenever someone comes up to ask them what they were talking about, they both say it was nothing. Meimi thinks it’s strange because Takechan was like that even when Meimi first joined Hello!Project. She says that Takechan has known Mizuki for four or five years, but now Meimi has known Takechan for 3 years and she has never acted like that with anyone but Mizuki. They suspect something.

I wanna go on an onsen trip with Takeuchi Akari-chan! (I wonder if we'd make it back all right... lol)
But since we both have no sense of direction, I'd want there to be a bus guide-san when we go sight-seeing!
竹内朱莉ちゃんと温泉旅行に行きたい！(無事帰れるかな…。笑)
でも2人とも方向音痴だから、観光する時はバスガイドさんに居てほしい！
