When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: Fairly recently. In July I saw the Aimi Eguchi video and I thought Mayuyu was incredibly beautiful which meant I tried to find out more about her.
Reason why you like AKB48: The girls are very cute and interesting. I like listening to the songs because they help with my Japanese. Also, I'm slightly obsessed with Japan.

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: January 2011 / I played the PSP game AKB1/48 Idol to Koishitara. But since the game doesn't have enough information about the girls so I ended up going to YouTube to search all the girls trying to get to know them. Afterward, I got into their music, PVs, TV shows, concerts, and from there - my journey into AKB fandom began =P

Reason why you like AKB48: 1. Takamina 2. Acchan 3. The girls - they all have great personalities. I also feel like I can really connect with them. 4. Great upbeat music that bring up my mood. 5. Love their TV shows. The best variety shows ever!! 6. They inspire and motivate me to work harder and to achieve my dreams just like they do!!

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: Well, honest truth normally I'm a metal head. But I started to love anime music in general. So day I wanted to check out japanese groups pop etc. And I asked my friend about them, and then he said look at this group there hot, and he showed me a video on youtube  called Japanese pop group. I think it was called that, anyhow that group was called Morning Musume (obviously everyone on this site knows about them) So I looked at them for a while started to obsess over Reina Tanaka. To be honest I watched a lot of there videos on mute I just wanted to look at Reina. But then that one day I found akb48 First song I ever found by them was Baby, baby, baby! And I was like O_O!!! Whaaa...SO many hot chicks in one group O_o? (yes I drooled) There was so many of them I couldn't really keep my mind on one. Then that one girl on the phone in the black and red bikini with cherries (i think i should re watch) Yes It was Takamina I was like wow, she's so hot O_O and small replayed that part like a thousand times then I was curious about how old she was. Well pretty much after that I was obsessed with her and Akb.

Reason why you like AKB48: They really do a lot of specials and shows. And it's hard to find a group like that, and there actually interesting to watch and there always cute. Everything is like an adventure when watching them. And there all really creative and funny. And there image is really good, and it not fake like most pop groups. I really admire that, and the honesty and there up beat and positive personalities.

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: I really have liked J-pop 2 years ago but I never really made it an obsession until last December. Ever since I was a kid, whenever I have vacation, Japan is always where I am because my dad works there as an engineer and brother studies there. I saw AKB48 on Music Station live, they were just awesome.
Reason why you like AKB48: Everything. The girls, the music, the TV shows and everything else. They're all full of personality, some are very interesting (like Mayu o.O). Whenever I see them in videos of AKBingo, performances and such, I see that they dont treat what they do as a job, but as a lifestyle, a way to enjoy, like leisure time. I think they enjoy what they do, and I know that is true. They give their full effort and energy for their fans.

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: I've known AKB since 2010, I think. But I'm still not a fan that time. I mean, I just saw them and that's it. I did not do further research about them. Then last August 2011, two of my friends introduced me more of AKB. At first I did not care much because I'm a fan of SCANDAL band and I think I just have to focus on one group. But then, they caught my attention and I came to like them especially Yuko. I just loved her bubbly personality.
Reason why you like AKB48: I like their songs because they can really catch my attention and listen carefully to it. I also like their personalities, image, and each of them are interesting.

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan:
Took Japanese language classes in college, but didn't use it very often. A little bit later, I decided to refresh my Japanese. Since the best way is
immersion, I just started watching a lot of Japanese programming (dramas/movies/variety shows) and listening tons of music. Caught a lot of
AKBingo eps and eventually got hooked on their music after it getting stuck in my head so many times. My stumbling onto AKB48 was pretty much by
accident.

Reason why you like AKB48: Well, their music is catchy, usually easy to understand (the reason I started listening to them was to keep my Japanese fresh) and really, nothing like it exists. You have members branching off into dramas, film, solo-projects etc... It's almost like a minor-league for female Japanese talent. To me, the whole concept is simply fascinating.

When/how did you become an AKB48 fan: Some time after River came out, I discovered the song and slowly started paying attention to them.  From there, I went looking through their discography and honestly, I didn't really like most of their songs.  That was until I found, Iwake Maybe and Oogore Diamond.  At this point, I was just a casual fan of their music.  What pushed me over the edge to become an AKB48 fan was when I saw the dodgeball segment on AKBINGO.  One of the funniest things I've seen. 
Reason why you like AKB48: They're just plain AWSOME!
