DS9 is god tier. Played hundreds of hours on Birth of the Federation (still got the disc, LETS DO IT). Have a couple dozen ST books, especially DS9 relaunch-related. FFFUUUUUUU love me some DS9 :jerk: :jerk:

I remember when the Akira Class debuted in First Contact, and all the hype/props it got for it's design. Would have been nice if it had gotten used in the TV series' that were airing at the time.

^Well, the Akira class did show up in DS9 Dominion War arc, and in one ep of Voyager.

I liked when DS9 played alongside TNG and when Voyager played alongside DS9 when it started

Yeah, I meant that it would have been nice if there was an Akira class ship involved more "directly" in an episode/storyline or two.

That TNG ep where Dr. Crusher became the captain of the Enterprise when the rest of the crew were on the planet to rescue Data from Lore and the Borg was all  :fap. Then again Crusher in general is  :inlove:

Man, the original series has had such an impact on my life, if only for fertile sources of notable quotes.  Especially if you count the movies, which spanned three decades and served as a bridge (pun not intended) to the present day where Admiral Shatner is enjoying great power in the twilight of his days...

We should most definitely try to get some Birth of the Federation or Armada going sometime. Perhaps even.. Klingon Academy!? I still have those discs somewhere..
