^ Damn that's neat! Plus it's environmentally friendly (they're recycling the bats). ;D

exactly how good are the Rakuten golden Eagles?  i never really pay attention to sports news, but after hearding that H!P is somehow promoting them, i got interested.  i actually gotten more interested in watching sports more now than before but that's beside the point.

how good are they? how are their stats?  and for trivial things, when H!P does attend their games, did they do better than previous games?  cuz i know i would do better if i have cute idols "supporting" me...

You can look it up in wikipedia.  Rakuten is a new team so it is in the last place.  If the company/owner is rich + good management, they should do well in the future.

Holy crappolee...

EIGHT (8) players from the Golden Eagles were voted or named to the Pacific League All-Star team.  Rakuten is second to last, ten games out of first.

Let's GO! Marketing!

^ Just goes to show, one can have players who have good seasons as individuals even though the overall team doesn't do that well.

This is a little bit stale news but Iwakuma Hisashi won Sawamura Award this year.

Eagles lose series to Fighters

Gads I didn't even realize that the Eagles were still in the running!

What an achievement for Nomura, in the twilight of his career, taking the team to the postseason and coming just a round short of the finals.
