Notes:
- All the adults I talked to in Japan love Yuko, whereas Mayu seems super popular among the younger crowd. Yuko has a very good chance of winning, but I'm rooting for Mayu. She's waited long enough and somehow I feel this is her last chance of ever getting the top spot.
- I can see Sasshi cracking top three, most likely at the cost of Yuki. Yuki doesn't seem to have the ambition to take center and she's already focusing on her solo career. Sasshi is among THE most recognizable members out there with all her TV appearances.
- I can see Milky doing really well. I feel Yamamoto has been reduced to jokes about her chin and she doesn't seem as born to be an idol as Milky.
- I think Akarin will make a killing. She's been featured on a lot of shows and I think the gained a lot of support.
- Sakura is too cute not to enter senbatsu. Last time she ranked when HKT was virtually unknown. Now she's everywhere.
- Undergirls is very hard to predict, but I think Sae, Akicha, Miichan and Rie will end up here. Mocchi will finally crack the top 20.
- Nacchan will re-claim her old spot.

According to this article by Nikkan Sports on 30 April 2013, Yukirin said, "It's because of AKB48 that I am able to proceed with my solo activities. My love for AKB48 has reached a point where it will not lose to anyone." Filled with gratitude, she reaffirmed her love for the group.

She had been No.3 during the last two elections.

"Armed with confidence, I've worked twice as hard during this two years. I definitely wish I can get into the top three this year." The hope to maintain her previous position has turned into her motivation.

"Even though I've been in AKB for 6 years, I want to continue to be active in the new generation and be at the top to lead AKB forward. I wish to do more for AKB48. As long as everyone works a little harder, I believe AKB48 will keep thriving.

My reason that I would like Yuko being no.1 is that I would like Yuko to be no.1 while she is in AKB...

Because she was Atsuko's rival... the only one that can rival Atsuko's brightness so I would like her to be the center

As for Mayu, it's not that I don't want her to be the center... she is still young she can be one once Yuko graduated from AKB

In someway, Yuko always left more impact than the rest of the other members...

So.. Yeah Yuko is supposed to be the center.

I just made an AMAZING discovery!

On Jpopsuki TV, I saw the PV for "Manatsu no Sounds Good!" and it... TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND!!!!!!!

The story talked about the senior members, who were like warriors from another world, dying out one by one. They cough up and large amount of blood at once and died instantly! The junior members were trying to save them, cause that was the meaning of the story; The junior members would take over once they were gone.

And, sure enough...

Mayu was saving Acchan!!!!!!! Also, Paruru was saving Yuko!!!!!!

Do you know what this means? That PV was, like, TOTALLY predicting the future of AKB itself!

Because, since Mayu claimed she wanted to become the next center, and Paruru became the center of "Eien Pressure" by the Janken Tournament, that means that Mayu might actually have a chance and claim the center position!

^Now that I think about it, that explaination also opens up a NEW theory.

Karen was at the center of everyone and tried to save everyone, them saying she was the true savior, is yet ANOTHER future prediction.

In the AKB0048 anime, her character, Nagisa, was chosen to succeed the 14th Maeda Atsuko; plus Mayu's character, Chieri, became Center Novae. This, and the fact that Mayu was center in the dance sequence of the video, once again pulls up the "Mayu is the next center" theory.

Also, Jurina and Milky were front girls with her.

Mayu said on a special episode of "AKB to XX" that Jurina, Milky, and Paruru were all considered her rivals.

So, basically saying, Mayu, Paruru, Jurina, Karen, maybe even Milky could ALL become center! In AKB, everyone wants to be center position, even if they don't say it.
