Sigh, tought I could finally replace my Pinnacle SC200... nope.
Surprise thing though: it connects to Mac
and
PC.

I wasn't so impressed with this... it's basically a way of letting you see your iTunes Music Store video downloads on your TV.
In itself, Apple TV is basically just a wireless router with a 720p decoder chip.
Mediagate
has been offering similar products for quite some time now, although theirs tend to throw in an HDD enclosure as well.

Overpriced and useless for anyone who has a video card with proper outputs to connect to a tv. I guess the only advantage is wirelessly streaming it to your tv? But I believe there are other devices that do it already...

a little late there. I think only people who know nothing other than things called i(insert name here) will bother getting it. At least it looks nice
