Fonchi just posted a few minutes ago on her blog and she's appearing in a new stage play with Ogawa Makoto (ex-Morning Musume) They both look awesome!

Btw, just by look in this picture really tells that Idoling!!! member really tall in average, compared to other Idol group. As far as i know there are a lot of members with height over 160++ cm (including Fonchi as an ex-member)

I also noticed the height thing in relation to many other idols. Lots of events when they are doing shows with other groups, many of Idoling members are noticeably taller than the other groups

Wow I never really pay attention to that, but yes indeed. I guess I'm blinded by the age gap between the members themselves to not to realize how tall everyone actually is.

Flashback to 2011, when Fonchi & Yazawa still in group. During Mechaike Idol Battle, clearly that Idoling really have a lot of potential in terms of body height, they're above average for standard Japanese women. Just take a look form this picture from the show back then :

Can't you see how tall are them (Yazawa is exception

Sorry Hatix), Ton-chan maybe not above 160++ cm club, but as far as i know, she's almost 160 cm height (around 157-158 i think).

"Officially" Fonchi is 162cm (same as Maipuru & Ramu) and Ton-chan is 157cm. (and yes, Yazawa is 150cm, she's lovely small

I tower above her with my 182cm

).

I remember Asahi and Kikuchi being super tall compared to Sakura Gakuin when they did that 'butt sumo' challenge show. I guess that's not a fair comparison though since a lot of SG are a lot younger.

The only group I can think of who can rival Idoling in terms of height would be SKE48. They have three girls who are taller than 170 cm (two of them up to 174 cm). Then again, this is also an unfair comparison since they have around 62 girls in the group so there are bound to be several tall ones

In Fonchi's case, I think she just looks big. She has some flesh and muscles to her, which add more impact to her appearance.

So Ruri is just 5'5? She definitely looks like 5'8 on TV, maybe because of the heels she's wearing.. I thought Sakacchi was the second tallest though then Fonchi

I totally forgot I said I'd upload the Pao CD, and I got the single a while ago.

The songs are both actually really awesome in full quality, IMO, I love how the producer uses his own voice a lot, it gives a really unique feel to the songs, and the arrangements are great
