When Ayarin announced her intentions:

After this show Ayaka appeared on AKB48 Anta Dare?,
along with Rina Izuta. On every episode of that show,
there is a spot where the audience votes on who is
their favorite.....and the results are announced as a percentage
of the votes....

Rina, despite appearing many times invariably gets the lowest
percentage, and usually she lets out a couple of "ehhhh？"'s and
then returns to her smiling self.

On the episode with Ayarin, Rina got her lowest score ever, at just 2%...

Ayarin won with a large score, as this was her last appearance. Everyone was
waiting for the "ehhhhh?" from Rina, but instead she smiled broadly
and told the audience 'today, it's okay, totally okay!' as
she was happy for Ayarin to get as many votes as possible.....

Quite simply, Rina really loves Ayaka....

She only graduated in April... seems she likely knew she couldn't keep to the no-relationship rule much longer! She had already gone once as a result of a scandal (2008) and didn't want history to repeat itself! Don't know the nature of the 2008 scandal though, but she would only have been about 15 at the time... hmmm...

On May 4, former AKB48 member and model Kikuchi Ayaka (21) updated her official Instagram account (ayaka_official06) where she announced that she has given birth to her 1st child.

Kikuchi happily reported, "On April 30 at 5:31 am, I gave birth to a healthy 3,162 gram (6 lbs 15 oz) baby boy." She also thanked her husband, "I was reassured to have my husband beside me, supporting me for a period of long time. Thank you."

While Kikuchi shared, "The labor was very painful," she expressed her joy as a new parent, "But that went away instantly when he was born!! He's so cute that my husband and I are fawning over him." Finally, she declared, "I will give him a lot of love and do my best with childrearing!"

Kikuchi joined AKB48 as a 3rd generation member in December of 2006. Although she withdrew in August of 2008, she joined once again as a 7th generation member in November of the same year. She eventually graduated last April to pursue fashion and modeling. At the end of the year, she announced her marriage and pregnancy.

Congratulations to the new parents!
