I would have much preferred it if Takkun had cut his hair back short before the special.
Sugoi!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJeGMPlK36k
"Goro, ikimasu!!!"
I found this video called Black Room with Kimura Takuya as the main character... It lasts ~30 min, and I have no idea what it is about XD It looks like a super short movie or something? Does anyone know anything about it?
^ :o ! I remembered seeing that shoot, and on the cover doesn't KimuTaku's face look creepy? Like it was over-airbrushed to death or like they cropped out a totally different head and stuck it on there?
Nakai looks awesome though
I was watching the SMAP x Morning Musume 2003 New Years performance again, and I realized that KimuTaku really was a looker. So why do I hate him now? It's obviously because of his hideous hair. He needs to change it back to how it was at the end of 2003, and I just might be a SMAP fan. They just need to get rid of Goro again.
The only JE I ever watch is the variety shows. SMAPXSMAP has me going "WTF! Yeah right!" Not only are they the top act, they're perfect cooks! And check out this bowling roulette....nailing shot after shot! C'mon :P
btw, Rei-chan, the Arashi pic in your sig, what is it from? movie? PV?

SMAP’s Inagaki Goro Admits to Being in an Intimate Relationship with a Man- http://aramajapan.com/news/smaps-inagaki-goro-admits-to-being-in-an-intimate-relationship-with-a-man/15883/ (http://aramajapan.com/news/smaps-inagaki-goro-admits-to-being-in-an-intimate-relationship-with-a-man/15883/)
“He stays over 2, 3 times a week.”
“There is a room just for him in my home.”
“We just share an electronic toothbrush and just change the bristles.”
“We compromise on who takes a bath first.”
“I also have him manage my money.”
On “Sanma & SMAP! Beauty and Beast Christmas Special,” Inagaki Gori (41) continued to share details about his companionship with the “mysterious man” Hiro-kun (54) in the segment “Hitoshi Matsumoto no Suberani Hanashi.” Also in the case of the recently aired “Gyorei no Dekiru Houristu Soudanjo,” Inagaki’s talk of “Hiro-kun” was cut from the broadcast, but it is said that he spoke of him constantly during the recording.
This is not Inagaki’s first time speaking of this man. In 2009, allusions were made to the existence of “Hiro-kun.”
His Nickname is Ginza’s Jackie”
Their first meeting was 15 years previously at a wine bar in Azubujuuban in Tokyo. It seems that “their friendship deepened while sharing wine.” About this “Hiro-kun” or “Hiroyuki-kun” from television:
“He is the manager of a taxi company with a wife and child(ren). Because he goes to board meetings once a week, he goes for walks 5 hours a day. He was given the name “Ginza’s Jackey” because of his habit of wearing masks while drinking and walking during the Bubble economy period,” [Inagaki] introduced him as.
Even though he was behind a mosaic, Hiro-kun himself made an appearance and left a comment.
“Because he is certainly my bestest of friends, we are going out.”
“The fact that when I am with him and we are so familiar [with each other] that all uncomfortable feelings disappear just might be miraculous,” Hiro said in a scene of great praise. Inagaki also said “Emotionally he is like a lover.”
However, why has a currently acting idol like Inagaki revealed such risky details up until now? The January 22 issue of Shunkan Shinchou has released the agency’s worries about this “behind the scenes information.” The media, who are after Hiro-kun’s real identity, have shot pictures of the two of them together. Because they will be troubled if a “homo article” comes out, [the agency] is alluding to treating the situation like a joke.
In the first place, Inagaki’s “gay suspicions” have continued to be whispered about on the internet for many years, so it is like an urban legend.
“He used the wave of the public and came out, huh”
“So they are half co-habitating. His partner has a wife and kids so is this an affair?”
Such comments have been seen here and there. In that direction, comments from fans worrying about Inagaki’s mental state are many.
“In contrast, he is saying that there are not people in the entertainment industry that he can trust that much.”
“It’s fine if he hasn’t been brainwashed like Othello’s Nakashima, though.”
Previously, Inagaki has said that “there are many people in existence like Hiro.”
“He has fun with dancer-like men, amusing himself by going shopping and having meals in Daikanyama.” (Weekly Magazine Reporter)
Such shocking information also exists. What is the the real situation?!

SMAP's Nakai Masahiro reveals that he had surgery to remove throat tumor- http://www.tokyohive.com/article/2015/06/smaps-nakai-masahiro-reveals-that-he-had-surgery-to-remove-throat-tumor
June 28, 2015
On June 27th, SMAP's Nakai Masahiro revealed that he had surgery earlier this month to remove a tumor in his throat.
Nakai had an uncomfortable feeling in his throat since about a year and a half ago. Because his voice had gotten so raspy, he went to see a doctor in late-May. Upon detailed examination, a tumor was found in his throat and the doctor told him that it could be cancerous. Consequently, he received surgery on "June 3rd or 4th".
Nakai was hospitalized for 5 days. He said that his hospitalization was the most fun he's ever had in his life because he didn't have to see anybody. Nakai also revealed that he had lost his father this February due to throat cancer.
On the same day, Nakai served as the host of TBS' music program 'Ongaku no Hi', and also performed a medley with his group. He didn't show any signs that he had undergone throat surgery.

Johnny’s React to SMAP Disbandment Rumor- http://aramajapan.com/news/johnnys-react-to-smap-disbandment-rumor/53916/
The idols of Johnny & Associates are active in many different fields, including hosting television shows. With the rumor that SMAP had disbanded after 25 years being the big story of the day, 4 Johnny’s were put on the spot on today’s morning news shows.
TOKIO’s Kokubun Taichi hosts TBS’s “Hakunetsu Live Vivit.” When the SMAP news was brought up today, he said that he saw the newspapers this morning and was frankly surprised by the news. He continued, saying that none of the members of SMAP had said anything to him personally yet, therefore he couldn’t say anything more. There was similar gossip around the time of last year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen, but he didn’t feel it from the SMAP members, so this rumor came as a surprise to him.
TOKIO’s Yamaguchi Tatsuya is a host on Nippon TV’s “ZIP!” on Mondays and Wednesdays. The SMAP story was brought up 3 times during the show, but he did not comment on it. The news of SMAP was a constant on the show’s scrolling ticker during today’s episode.
Nagase Tomoya of TOKIO was on Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV” today doing promotion for his new Fuji TV drama “Fragile”, which debuts tonight. He did not speak on the SMAP rumor.
Also keeping quiet on the subject was V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko, the host of NHK’s “Asaichi.”
EDIT:
Now that it’s the evening in Japan, there is a story on what happened on the tonight’s shows. NEWS’ Koyama Keiichiro is a host of Nippon TV’s evening news show “news every.” He too expressed surprise at the news. He also expressed concern over what is going to happen next.

SMAP members talk about recent troubles on live 'SMAP×SMAP' appearance- http://www.tokyohive.com/article/2016/01/smap-members-talk-about-recent-troubles-on-live-smapsmap-appearance
January 18, 2016
On January 18, SMAP members made a live appearance on their Fuji TV program "SMAP×SMAP" and talked about recent trouble.
First of all, Kimura Takuya started with, "It is January 18th 2016 today. We have caused a public uproar since last week about us, SMAP, and we gave worries to so many people. If things kept going, I was afraid that SMAP could break up in midair, so we thought it was important for five of us together to explain to everyone. Therefore, we received this opportunity."
Then each members followed:
- Inagaki Goro
"I'm sorry for causing troubles about us. I hope you see us from now on, and would like to receive support from you, so we will do our best. Please continue to support us."
- Katori Shingo
"I apologize for making so many people worried and anxious. Starting today, I hope we can make many smiles with you again, so please support us."
- Nakai Masahiro
"Because of this, it made me strongly realize once again how much SMAP is receiving supports from you. I deeply apologize. Please continue to support us."
- Kusanagi Tsuyoshi
"I noticed so many things because of the words from you. I am really grateful. We are standing right here, since Kimura-kun gave us an opportunity to apologize to Johnny-san. I am relieved to be able to stay here with all five of us together."
At the end, Kimura said, "Lastly, we will keep going forward...just by looking forward, no matter what happens, so everyone, please support us."
It seems like SMAP's disbandment has been avoided.

SMAP's single from 2003 'Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana' back on No.3 on Oricon's latest weekly ranking- http://www.tokyohive.com/article/2016/01/smaps-single-from-2003-sekai-ni-hitotsu-dake-no-hana-back-on-no3-on-oricons-latest-weekly-ranking
January 27, 2016
Popular group SMAP's "Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana (single version)", released in March 2003, sold 47,000 copies this week. It ranked in at No.3 on Oricon's latest weekly single ranking.
The accumulated sales of the song is now 2,630,000 copies.
When there was a report about SMAP's splitting up/disbanding on January 13, their fans mounted a campaign for buying the song, aiming for a triple million sales, to deter the group's disbandment.
The single charted at 9th place on the daily ranking for January 14, but as it is a single from over 10 years ago, it was out of stock, which gave it the 75th place on the previous weekly ranking.
Even after the week, "Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana" continued increasing its sales, and for the latest weekly chart, it came back on No.3 spot after 12 years.
Not only the song, five other singles also charted in the top 100, and "Smap Vest" (released in March 2001) was also at the 17th place on the latest weekly album ranking.

Regarding 'SMAP's future activities as a group
Thank you always for your support for SMAP.
We have been worrying everyone about SMAP's future activities, and now we would like to report on the conclusion which was made after the consulting with the members multiple times.
SMAP who have been doing their group activities as artists for 25 years since their debut, will be disbanding after December 31, 2016.
After receiving the members' intentions to stay in the company and continue their group activities, back in January of this year, our whole company has been preparing in many ways to support SMAP. Starting in February to August 10, we have spent over 6 months in meetings with each member individually and all the members together, proposing them for usual appearances on music shows, holding live concerts and commemorative events for the 20th anniversary of their TV show, as well as the 25th anniversary since their CD debut. However, during the consultations, some members told us 'it is difficult to continue as a group with the members' current situations', which caused the group's non-appearances on the music shows during July.
In August, we suggested them to take a break as a group in order to have some time to think it all until the whole situation settles in a positive way, for the sake of people who are waiting. But some of the members preferred 'disbanding rather than taking a break.' Though it was a tough decision, with respect towards them who have kept running until now, we thought that it is difficult to continue as a group if some members are wishing to disband.
We feel terrible for our inadequacy not to be able to meet the support and expectations of the fans who were eagerly looking forward to the 25th-anniversary concerts and event. Please accept our apology.
Even though SMAP is disbanding after this year, all of them will continue staying with the company, and each one will do their best in solo activities, so we would like to ask you for your continuous support just like now.
We will greatly appreciate your further guidance and encouragement.

- Nakai Masahiro- http://www.tokyohive.com/article/2016/08/smap-members-release-statements-on-their-disbandment
"To the fans and people concerned, please allow us to announce that we, SMAP, will be disbanding. I'm so sorry to have troubled and worried you. I thank you for all of your support for us over the years. Please forgive us for coming up with this kind of conclusion. I am really sorry..."
- Kimura Takuya
"About this 'group's disbandment', I am honestly regretful. But for the 25th anniversary live or our group activities, there is nothing I can do if five of us aren't together, so all I can do now is to understand. Ignoring the feelings of the fans who supported us a lot, and the staff members, it ended up with such a deplorable conclusion as 'disbandment.' I do not know what to say now."
- Inagaki Goro
"To the fans and the staffs, I am truly sorry to have troubled and worried you. We thought that it was difficult to continue our group activities in our current situation, so we have decided to 'disband' though it was a tough decision. I hope you understand our intentions. Thank you very much for the past 28 years."
- Kusanagi Tsuyoshi
"We, SMAP, have chosen the path to disband. To the fans who have always cheered for us, and the related parties who have supported us, thank you very much for the 28 years since the formation of the group. We will continue devoting ourselves, so I will be happy if you watch us over warmly."
- Katori Shingo
"To the fans and the staff members, we, SMAP, are disbanding. I sincerely would like to give my gratitude for many people who supported us, and also I am deeply sorry for this sudden announcement."
Considering the announcement of the group disbanding, it should not be a surprise that this happened next.
