Game Idenitfication Thread

This is a topic in case someone remembers a game from his youth or saw something somewhere and wants to know the title/platform/info/whatever.

In my case, about a year ago I saw a Japanese fighting game being promoted on television. The cool thing was that there were trucks/machines doing the fighting.. it looked awesome. Does anyone know which game I'm talking about?

hmm.. isn't that a pretty old one? I don't think that's the one I mean.. *does some websearching*..

I'm talking about machines like this fighting eachother:



I think it was released for PS2, but not 100% sure on that..
