My thoughts:

Senbatsu:
- Ono Haruka and Hiramatsu Kanako have finally made it and they are on the cover as well. They're not exactly my favs, but they deserve the chance to promote themselves.
- No Ishida Anna = disappoint.
- Kaneko Shiori has her moments... but Hara Minami as a Team E representative is a strange choice. I want my Madoka, Shibata or ErikaSMASH. At least I spotted Shibata in one of the other PV previews, so that's a start.

Covers:
- Meh. I don't really care for the 'busy' mix of pics and drawings. No class, no unity.
- Rena's outfit looks too bland, color-wise. If you look at the three covers from a distance, type B doesn't stand out at all.
- Why is Yuria on two types? Who made her president.
- From an objective point of view, as far as that's possible, Type C (Akane) is by far the best cover.

Songs:
- Okidoki: I can see myself rocking out to this, lol. Should be cool during concerts. PV is ok-ish. Nothing special, but should be fun to watch.
- Bazuka: Anna, Shibata, Matsurina and Pajama Jurina = now we're talking! Too bad the song itself it completely forgettable.
- Hoho no positive thinking: Hmmm... difficult. Not that big on the outfits. PV setting is sorta nice. Song is a bit better than Bazuka. This could work, need to see the rest of it.

Conclusion:
- Not nearly as good as Paleo, in any aspect.
- Not bad either, it follows the trend of 1234/Banzai type songs
- The song and PV for Okidoki seems pretty cool, so I guess it's a fine release

The Gachi Oyasumi (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=31023.0) bonus videos are unbelievably epic. No make-up + pajama = pure idol love  :wub:

It's nice to see the girls in a more private situation away from the other girls. They all make an appeal for themselves in their own way, which is nice.

Random thoughts:
- Anna's bed is awesome.
- Kyoka Isohara confirmed for Team E underdog fav. Fresh  :thumbup
- Makiko's Sae poster is sorta awkward  :nervous
- Shibata Aya is SO CUTE. OMG. It's like... a bit of Kumi x Akari. If that makes sense. Big eyes and a big smile. One of my top 3 favorite videos.  :inlove:
- J's cool as usual. Even J's mom seems pretty awesome  :lol: so is Brown Mama  XD
- Matsumoto Rina looks so flawless. Gorgeous. Nice soft talking voice too. She still looks like a loli though...
- I wasn't that impressed by Madoka's vid... She's starting too look more mannish everyday :S
- Momona Kito has the same way of talking and voice as Sato Yukari. Nice. Pretty cute. If she has that many fan letters, imagine how many someone like J has received over the years...
- Takada Shiori's vid was really nice imo. Really good. Really down to Earth and she obviously has a good relationship with her siblings. How epic is her hair! I'd watch DVDs with her on that mini DVD player.
- Slighly disappointed by Aki's lack of guitar playing, but at least she has a cool axe. I bet they didn't show the headstock on purpose, but I think it's a low-end Jackson or Washburn.
- Airi seems cool to hang with. Frogs, Rena, zombie games  :thumbup
- Matsui Rena's vid is probably among the greatest things I have ever seen. Flawless. So pretty. Her little mannerisms and voice are just to die for. I think I actually died at that video ending and went to Heaven.

32 Member Gachi Oyasumi version random thoughts, in order, but I might skip some of the girls:

- Akaeda Ririna: So cute, and nice mom interaction. The massage pose was a bit  :nervous I wonder what her mother thinks about filming her daughter like this. She still reminds me of Rina Koike a lot. Nice outgoing, happy-go-lucky girl.
- Asana 'biting' her dog was sorta cute, but I generally don't like girls who are obsessive about their dog or cat.
- Imade Mai... more dog. Subtle SKE pimpage in the background lol.
- Masana gives of a nice mature vibe.. calm and pretty.. I like.
- I like cats even less than dogs, so Ogiso loses some bonus points, lol. Her room is so plain... nothing on the walls at all.
- Moko's voice sounds like a maid's  XD I think Lovetan has the same strawberry pajama.
- Kaotan squeeking all over Kinchan's vid lol. Oyasumiruku!
- Yuria lolled when she said she studied one hour every day before going to bed. Het vid was actually pretty nice.
- I was listening to this with headphones on and I could hear Yukko's father breathing... and a lot of it is out of focus. Too bad, because it distracts and the actual video content wasn't that bad.
- Kanon put a tag through those precious photos?! Nice girly room, it's what you'd expect from someone like her. This was a good vid, this is what we want to see. Show her room, some of her stuff, some of her rituals... it gives you the feeling you get to know them a bit better.
- I wonder if Kuwabara has given up on a typical idol image... she's always so out there. lol at the mousou deka artwork on the wall.
- +1 on a girly room for Goto. It's cool so many of these girls actually have AKB and SKE merchandise in their room.
- Kobayashi... more massage and dogs... it's getting a bit repetitive after half an hour. Makes sense, I guess.
- Mei's face looks like J's forehead... Still sorta cute though, gotta keep an eye out for her after puberty. lol
- HOLY CRAP Akarin. Talk about FLAWLESS. She actually looks much younger than usual like this. I don't even care that there's a dog. And some serious fan appeal... Looking at the camera, smiling, nose-wrinkle... what a pro. We even got a light 'hihi' near the end.  :wub: By FAR the best video so far.
- Nice bird... and her bird is looking pretty good too. (sorry, failed joke.) Akane's so into birds... it's not even a gimmick, she genuinely cares a lot about birds. 
- Never realized Namakura has some moles in her face. I also just realized her mouth reminds me of Gacharic Spin/Euphoria's Tomo a bit.
- Hata-chan's pretty. Cute vid, nice.
- Hara's eyes are not suppin. And she put clothes on her dog. Massive bonus points lost for Hara. Sorry masa, but your favorites and I don't get along  :lol:
- I think Kanako's dog is similar to Rena's... Pretty cute vid, I think she showed of her character pretty nicely.
- Kaotan, yay! She always cheers me up for some reason. lmao, gulping down some ice-cube before going to bed... that's a first. Bunny ears too? Video full of win.
- Kumi, finally! Never noticed her upper ear piercing... must be Shibuya's influence, lol. Ahw, another creepy dog :/ If I were prone to leg injuries I'd rather have an actual bed :/ Speaking of legs, she shows them off rather nicely haha. Not a fan of the dog, but I'm willing to look passed anything to see her face at the end and beginning of every day.
- ErikaSMASH has the same speech patterns as Ohe Tomomi... Normally she looks a bit like Akicha, but now I even noticed some Sae vibes. Interesting girl, for sure.

I can't believe I sat down through almost 2 hours of these vids  :lol:

In this particular one, the best video by far was Suda Akari's. No doubt about it. In fact, I'ma re-watch it right now.

Barrie, your post inspired me to watch the Gachi Oyasumi vids and I'm very glad I did :D  Lots of cute girls plus I think these vids helped me learn a few new girls since I only knew a handful of the SKE girls before watching this. 

Think I'll copy you now and write about a few of my favourites:

Ogiso was the first girl to appear that I recognised.  Definitely beauitful even without lots of makeup :)  And her sleeping area was really cool.  It seemed kinda like a loft conversion.
Moko's breathing exercise (or whatever that was) was kinda lulzy but cute at the same time :lol:
Actually missed Kaneko Miori's name when her vid started then as I was watching I thought 'wow she's cute.. wait, who is she?' XD  Had to go back and check the start cause I suddenly found myself really wanting to know who she was :D  (I especially liked her little ending bit)
At last, it's Non :D  I'll watch anything with her in it and this vid didn't dissapoint me.  I always like it when the girls have scrap books with various pictures.  It just seems like they are really treasuring their time in the group.  And her room seemed full of a lot of stuff but well organized.  It was one of the more tidy rooms shown.  I was only sad that the vid couldn't have been longer.
Goto was another girl who I didn't know until watching this.  I really liked her vid.  She seemed really cute, and kind of a little random with how she was just showing loads of different things.  And I liked that she switched out the light.. and then carried on :lol:
Churi is one of the girls I already knew but I only really started to notice her a few months ago.  Her room looked somehow minature, almost like she was in a dolls house.  And I totally loved how friendly and caring she was with her birds.  She just seems like such a sweet girl :)
Tsuzuka Rika's vid started and I was thinking 'well, I have no idea whose forehead this is'.  Then she pops up and I was like 'holy crap this girls so cute!' :D  And she's got a really expressive face too.  She looks way younger than she is though.  I thought she was about 12.
Hiramatsu Kanako is like a pixie.  Her face, her eyes, her voice, she's just so ultra cute it's unreal :D  She's almost anime like.  And again another girl that I was sure is way younger than she actually is.
Kumi's room seemed really messy with stuff just kid of everywhere.  Mainly though my thoughts were how pretty she was :D  And she's really cute with her little doggie too :)
And my final thought is that those rolling massage things that some of the girls used are just wierd :lol:

One question though.  I'm probably being really dense but what ver of the single do these vids come from?  I'm having a totally idiot moment trying to figure it out from reading the descriptions :nervous

Type A --> Shirogumi (白組) AKA Jurina and friends
Type B --> Akagumi (紅組) AKA Rena and Friends
Type C --> 32 member version (32人)

Basically, the girls who do the coupling song for type A and B are in the Gachi Oyasumi video for that type. I think the Type C/other 32 girls are the ones who aren't in shirogumi or akagumi. Not 100% sure, but something like this anyway  :lol:

Great to see that the sales are off to a good start.  I wasn't mad for this song to begin with but the more I've heard it the more it's grown on me.  Coupled with a pretty cool PV I think they are onto a winner here :)

Paleo's 1st day sale was 264k, so it's only about 20k+.
