Ehh??? Well this sucks... I just have to laugh for a second because they're changing the name to Kirari. XD Also, how the fuck are the songs going to work? I mean, the whole premise of the show is about becoming a JPop idol, which I'm pretty sure ViZ will fuck up.

Ahh... bad move...

I'm not trying to offend you, but can you use some capitalization/punctuation please?

This is about Viz shopping the show at media conventions, isn't it? Keep in mind that these don't always work out. I've seen various examples of anime that were shopped around by Viz at media conventions to TV stations but never got picked up or licensed at all (one example doinkies can think of is something called Croket). It's also Viz EUROPE shopping the show in France this time, though Viz did shop Kirarin*Revolution at an American convention earlier this year. The press release mentioned more successful series such as Bleach and Death Note being available; since they are already licensed in America, I suppose that Viz Europe is shopping around for a license in France and perhaps other European countries as well.

That said, I don't know how exactly a dub of Kirarin*Revolution for TV would work. Koharu, and the marketing of Koharu's music under her character's name, is such an integral part of that series. They even have clips of the PVs in the Kirarin*Revolution OPs after Koi Kana. Who out there in America has the same sort of celebrity factor through a kids' TV show? Miley Cyrus is the closest doinkies can think of...

This whole thing is gonna be a failure,   I fail to see how they could localize this show for a western audience and retain its charm points ... which are inadvertently Koharus voice and the music.
Maybe Aika's voice for gurosan will be left in though

Miley's voice sounds like... a man. Well, not really, but compared to Koharu, she does. So I think she'd be a bad choice for the show. This is coming from someone who likes Hannah Montana, btw.

I wouldn't be surprised if this does happen, but using Miley Cyrus as the voice actress? FAIL  XD

Hell to the no.

I would just perfer a plan/normal voice actress(not saying Dakota isn't normal) that isn't well known within the entertainment world

^ QFT. Although Kirarin Revolution is still really new, so I doubt it will be coming to the US anytime soon. Even if they were to use an American 'kid-pop idol,' by the time they translate it over here, there might be totally different people they could choose.

There is always a possibility of a straight to DVD release with Japanese audio and English subtitles. If the licensing company can sort out the copyrights of the opening and ending songs, they can be left in as is, or else they'd have to be changed.

I think it would work. It would suck cause you know koharu would be dubbed, and thats just wrong  :-\ but they would probably keep all the music and stuff though. They could even work out a deal and make some english versions. Not sure how far that will go and all but its worth a try.  I only hope for the best. It may end up on cartoon network like HiHi Puffy Amiyumi show. lol i hope this takes off rofl.

^ Do you mean cartoon network? Well both share the same channel, nvm. But that would be funny to see Kirarin on adult swim.
