No Complaints at all about this poll. Although "The Peace" came in 5th with just 10 points on my answer, I have to admit, it is one of the most creative music videos ever produced, and the background story makes it even more interesting.
My heart will always belong to "Love Machine", but this poll really proved an important point......Morning Musume has got a sizeable number of fascinating, well produced, thouroughly entertaing songs and PV's, and Tsunku san and all of the perfomers, supporting music and technical staff have earned a place in the Valhalla of pop music!!

A big thanks to Shirenu for running this poll, and for using the Shirenu SUPER COMPUTER to add up the results. Arigatou Gozaimashita!

YES now I have time to babble a little

A WARM THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED AT ANY TIME IN THE POLL! Some of the vote threads even reached page 3, oh happy tears of joy. Ya know the more people vote, the more epic the poll is

I personally had the most fun making the round 1 posts, watching all the videos and realizing how many of them are fucking awesome each in their own way

I even liked some songs more than I'd liked them before. Maybe I'm just in a different mindset lol
I hope at least some of you also took this opportunity to either re-live or to discover some singles, because... it's fun. lol

I do find it regrettable that Kanashimi Twilight didn't make the final round, and I know many others did too. So that's why I'd like to add some kind of wild card option next time, if there's only a one point difference etc. This also would've benefited Mr. Moonlight. My lottery bowl isn't exactly fair, so I don't think a wild card option would mess with the poll too much... :3

This really applies to me. I had fun and was hooked watching all the videos again, and seeing some of the newer ones for the first time.

The classics reminded me of why I loved that Momusu and made me nostalgic of that era~

Voting in the different stages of the poll was difficult yet fun, and I am really happy that The Peace won~!

I'm down with the nine finalists, although I suspect the randomizing in the earlier rounds skewered the 1998-1999 era, which was not represented at all in the final round -- BOO! on that.

OT: I've always been interested in where the line is drawn between old and new. Used to be Daite Hold On Me, Love Machine, Renai Revolution... Last I thought about this, I figured it was Shabondama, once and for all. Now THAT song seems ANCIENT.

i really enjoyed this poll and was actually looking forward to the next stage as soon as i voted in the current one

THE PEACE! at #1 is no suprise, this is still

i'm glad my faves made it to the top spots

watching all the videos made me miss those PVs that kinda had a story/theme to it and not just: faceshot, danceshot, dramaticfaceshot, randomgroup shot

hyokkori... had that crazy pirate thing going on and the roles (esp Yasuda's) was just hilarious

THE PEACE made us wonder about that toilet video thing

koko ni iruzee had crazy minecarts and conquering pyramids

shabondama had insane headbanging

go girl koi no victory had all the members telling us 'suki'

I WISH has the ultimate storyline PV award for me (cuz there was kinda a story going on throughout the PV)

i miss that

although i enjoy otoko to onna lullaby game and nanchatte renai solely because the music was interesting to me

The Peace and the older singles was no surprise, however seemingly most if not all were within the 4th Generations run (2000-2007) which again was no shock but good job in making the poll work

^^ I'm actually kinda glad that Love Machine wasn't here, just because I feel that usually people think that they *have* to think of it as one of the best singles because it SOLD SO MUCH.... But when I actually think of personal favourite songs that I listen to over and over again, Love Machine isn't one of those D: It was a ~hit~ in Japan during its release yes, but it's not one of the songs I choose to listen to all the time...

And Love Machine actually won this poll the first time it was held.

It wasn't run the same way though, and not many people voted.

Agreed. I kinda groan whenever someone punches it in at karaoke: the obligatory Musume song. I tell ya one time a co-worker sang "The Peace" and my drunk ass was a sight to see, doing the moves.

So not seeing "Love Machine" is actually a progressive thing in my mind. Still, kind of a bummer not to see ANY part of the 90s in the final round. Come on, TRUE fans still put "Furusato" in their top ten. Don't lie!

I expected the Peace to win. Obviously, on a forum that's created around Rika

However! I did some quick calculation yesterday and Shabondama had like a 150 pt lead on The Peace! Then all the last minute voters started giving tons of points to the peace and well, the results speak for themselves.

Hopefully Kanashimi twillight can make it past the preliminary rounds next time. It would be interesting to see how well it could do.
