Congrats on landing your first senbatsu position Yuumin!

I'm feeling a bit conflicted about this senbatsu/song because:

On the one hand:
1) It has no Team M members at all. In spite of it being a "dance senbatsu" they didn't even include Aapon who's one of the best dancers in NMB.
2) Sayanee center? When she just had her vocal cord surgery and she shouldn't be supposed to sing for, at least, a few months? Looks like management doesn't give a damn about Sayanee's health and that's kinda worrying. I hope they won't let her sing during their live performances because her vocal cords should rest.
3) They gave Aika/Rikanyan the worst hairstyles ever. It's supposed to be Beyonce-like but it's just... plain ridiculous. Also... not really digging that "boyish" style on Sayanee either.
4) They ditched Miru/Fuu/Keicchi/Ripopo/Nagi/Shu/Yuuri... These girls better get something epic because not having them around makes me... sad.

But on the other hand:
1) Uuka looks FANTASTIC in that pv preview. And it's only a pv preview.
2) Rikanyan and Haru are BACK IN THE GAME! I mean, these girls are 1st gen members, they deserve their fair share of exposure too.
3) Milky looks good too, but that's Milky so... that was to be expected.

aaaaaand I guess... I ran out of things to praise/complain about.

Milky gets to show what she actually wanted to do per se

The title really says something about this

They got a dance senbatsu but is there something more that we are facing with this groups especially the fact of Sayanee's vocal cord surgery

If technically you have a second single material (third in relation to the fact of Nana's graduation) It seems a little rushed IMHO

^ agreeing with a lot of the points from manatzukkyun, wondering what this might be having such things going at this pace (I could rant about other stuff like HKT, but not here

)

Considering how Sayanee's known for being one of the better singers on the *48G, I doubt that they'd be that dumb/reckless. If anything, they hopefully/probably had her record her parts for the song before she had the surgery.

Having to work despite being a little sick/ill is one thing, but when it has been stated that she shouldn't be singing/straining her voice for medical reasons, yeah, that shouldn't be something that Aki-P and/or the other producers/powers that be would be dumb enough to ignore.

I'm hoping that they did record her parts before she had that surgery but I'm still really worried about how they're going to handle the whole thing on TV shows like Music Station and stuff.
I guess there's also a reason why that song features autotune. Probably required less singing effort on Sayanee's part because of that song editing. But well... I want Sayanee to do well, be healthy and happy so that's why I'm worried about her condition.

September 11, 2015

NMB48's new single "Must be now" will be released on October 7.

On September 10, NMB48 held their 'Team N Koko ni Datte Tenshi wa Iru' performance at NMB48 Theater. Details on their new single was revealed during this show.

The single will be released in 3 limited editions, 3 regular editions, and a theater edition. Besides the title track, which is a dance tune sung by the 9 senbatsu members, the single will include songs by each of the teams (N, M, and BII), and a song by Oira, an unofficial unit of NMB48. All limited and regular editions will come with a DVD including PVs, footage from their Nippon Budokan concert, and footage of the kenkyuusei's performance.
