Morning Musume Korean members? Article here.

asahi.com claims in its article that "The popular Japanese idol group Morning Musume will select a South Korean member. Especially, it is assumed that the process of the member selection is scheduled to be broadcast through an Mnet cable channel reality program."

^ well since MM already has 2 Chinese members in it, and Tsunku wants to expand MM oversea, it's not surprise that he thinks of adding a Korean member into the group.

H!P had a Korean member before but she was just a H!P member not MM member. Perhaps this will make MM more excited to watch in the future if it is true.

And if it really is, then asahi.com sure is slow with it...

I'm reading the Asahi article, and it is the exact same wording used when MM went for that concert in Seoul, when "someone from MNET" said there were plans for a kind of reality show to pick a Korean member.....exact same words....but I thought H!P denied it? Not sure what to think

im gonna agree with BigDnm01, Asahi is very slow. they just translated the same korean articles from 5.24.08 into japanese. (check WHG, saying the same thing). MNet already scrapped the idea.

Tokyo Sports also said Goto Maki and Kago Ai would form a unit under Avex. (Which was denied by Kago.) Suffices to say that Tokyo Sports is not very reliable as a source of news.

i believe that there was a korean member in gatas right?
that i s the one i think will become a momusu member plus the one from the reality they are planning to have over there...

thats my personal theory for a long long time...
but this rumors just come to make a little more... real?

well.. any way if they are having member from all over asia is ok.. as long as upfront takes care of the language and communication of the members... it haves to be said that jun jun has been left aside to many things just because she is not fluent in japanese...

^ I don't think I believe the thing about Maki and Kago forming a unit (because I don't think the pairing would really be very good; they're too different), but I think Gocchin's coming back to her singing career soon. It's just a matter of when.
