I was really disappointed with the new remastered versions of BLUE BLOOD and Jealousy. They really don't sound much better than the originals. I had such high hopes for those... I'll upload them if anyone wants, but don't expect anything amazing.

Eh...thats kind of sad to hear. Has anyone seen toshi? He's so different now! His songs are kind of corny too and he doesn't sound as good as he used to IMO.

And that thing about Gackt...*sigh* i just hope yoshiki can make it good...

KILLER!!!

5 dvd box set of the red and white night concerts from 1994! limited edition comes with a 50 minute bonus dvd of backstage footage and a cd! expensive, but I just preordered it (I'm sick). You could also just buy each concert individually for around 40 bucks each. Can't wait!!!

^ 20 000 yen????? :o Holy shit that's expensive! Given the content, however, it is somewhat reasonable...and damn tempting too. <_<

I'll be dammed... Blabbermouth is usually pretty accurate... 10 support guitarists? that actually sounds pretty cool. Who wants to take bets that Marty Friedman is one of them? HA!

all I've been able to get out of it is:
it'll be the theme for saw 4
it's all in English
they sampled some old hide stuff, so he'll be in the song

Zombie hide rides again!

Edit:
kk, official English info

http://www.jrockrevolution.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=166&Itemid=171

guess I'm going to see saw 4

I was thinking of watching saw 4, though I haven't seen any of the older movies. Maybe now I really should

You can check out an interview with Yoshiki and a short clip of the PV filming here:

I'm pretty excited. Song sounds good. I just hope they do a short tour here in the US.

Yeah, I saw it opening day. It was great to hear it over the theaters sound system. Great song, but I was disappointed by the lack of a real guitar solo. I figured that's where they would have thrown in one of hide's old recordings.
Yoshiki said during the pv shooting that they would preform in Tokyo next spring. I would assume at Tokyo Dome. No word on when the single will be released. Rumor has it that it will contain three tracks, including "Without You" and a secret song.

hey brad, have been reading alot of your post about Jrock stuff and learning alot of different bands, as i'm still a new comer to this type of music    :pimp:

Pls up for a fellow J-rock/X 'new' fan!!   :D

** a friend sent me the old version, but somehow the mix is very muddy and there's couple of skips here and there, esp. between the first instrumental track into 'blue blood"..
