The official video for their performance last year at Japan Expo in France just came out!
They sound really weird! but it just seems to be a direct, quiet feed with no effects or crowd noise, but it does let you see the whole stage, which is good during stuff like Juicy Beats, missing from any of the fan videos.

So what was it that you didn't expect? Their mad skills? Their great sense of humour? Or their divine looks?

If you like this you surely must check out some of their older stuff.
Songs like bombergirl, never say never, ima wo ikiteru, more power, all brilliant songs.

Musically I should I like them but most of the songs the drummer sings has some annoying voice effects which makes it impossible for me to enjoy, however like the most recent single is great and I also like the song where the dancers sing (not sure if that was a single).

Veeeeeerrrryyyy slow to load. The guy with the face paint is an old pro wrestler named The Great Kabuki. He's in his 60s and still performs in Japan.

They also used a wrestler in "Don't Let Me Down." His name is Genichiro Tenryu and is also an old-timer. Why they are using old wrestlers in their videos I do not.

Oh, and did you all know Armmy has returned to music, albeit low key? Or has that been discussed?

Arisa will "graduate" on 26th of July 2015, she wants to concentrate on studies (high school), Akasaka BLITZ (26.07.2015) will be her last perform with GS

I'm late to the party, and I just read this on their official site. This band seems to be plagued with people leaving - just as they were building up their idol-ish persona too!

Do you think they'll replace Arisa with another performer? Just having one performer seems a bit off (though who knows, it worked for Happy Mondays ). I'll see if I can get tickets for the Akasaka BLITZ final performance, I'd love to get to see all six of them one last time .__.!

I got Metalca in the mail this week too!! Zombie movie wise it's okay, as a Gatchapin movie it's fairly good! but Tomo-zo and Hana are just background characters that don't say or do much, Leona has the most lines and Koga the second most.



Oddly there's a storyline about going major as a group but they can't until they ditch the zombie.... shots fired at Armmy? hahaha

I knew about DOLL$BOXX before, but hadn't known about Gacharic Spin. I highly regret this, because it meant I missed out on buying their CD, and it quickly sold out. I grabbed an Oreo towel, though, and got the band to sign one of my drumsticks!

Nene is great. Fits right in on going 200% on everything. It was amazing the Gacharic was the only band at Jpop Summit to get an encore, and then I immediately felt bad about it because after going hard for an entire set, they came back and Mai, Nene, and Oreo straight-up RAN in place for an entire song. Holy shit hardcore.
