^When I realized she was going to sing Kareha, I got excited, too. I mean, it was a logical song choice for her, and even though I know Rena owns the song, I was still looking forward to seeing how she would perform it. It was tragic. =/

Takamina's solo... She was flat in some parts, but I think it would have been better if they chose another song to rearrange. Or maybe turned it into rock instead.

Still, it was a really fun concert. The shuffles were really great. I like the mixing of SKE (other than WMatsui) and AKB into units. And I really liked the idea of the groups swapping songs. It's not something you really see, even in their big concerts.

I love the fact that girls actually sang ... no playback, this is a proof that they can sing, is not a simple chorus girls as they say the anti fans.

^Lol, why? Granted, it was the first I've seen her being flirty/naughty onstage. I thought it was fun(ny), especially since it's a Yuki song. (I kinda noticed that aki-p seems to like pairing them in songs lately. Maybe because they're like the AKB/SKE version of each other? idk)

God I love this forum.  I thought I'd have to wait a day or two to see anything yet you guys are already finding and posting clips for everyone to see   This concert really does look like it was awesome.  I've only watched 4 performances so far but I'm already blown away by how awesome it was.

gekikarabuACE, I actually felt the same as you about beginner.  I didn't think it worked particularly well as an acoustic version.  I kinda felt a bit sorry for Takamina cause I think she deserved a better song.  Only a minor complaint really cause I still actually really enjoyed the performance but I bet with an ever better arrangement she'd have blown the roof off the place!

I prefer Yukirin's version, or even Acchan's... Acchan's is nice, maybe better than Yukirin's...

And, yeah, a agree that Takamina deserved a better song... but like I said, I love her voice, so.. awesome xD

But Yuko's performance just drove me crazy, that made my day xD

I was actually talking about Rena getting Yuki's center position in Kuchi Utsushi no Chocolate. And regarding Acchan... it sounded like she was half-a-beat(?) late, especially in parts of the verses. Not sure if she was having trouble remembering the lyrics or finding the rhythm to the song.

Yeah, imho the arrangement they did just wasn't cutting it, that's why it sounded a bit confusing. Like it got stuck between speeding up and slowing down. Lol, does that even make sense. And I think the key may be too low for Takamina, though she still managed to make it work.

Apparently there were technical difficulties during Kareha and Acchan couldn't hear herself. That kind of thing can make even professional singers screw up.

I've yet to watch the concert in full but what I saw of it on youtube was absolutely insane. If we weren't able to get a Tokyo Aki Matsuri II this year, this is a pretty damn good substitute. The highlight for me thus far is, of course, Sasshi's rendition of Dear J. Talk about awesome! This girl can play the hetare card all she wants, it's so obvious that she's a pro.

And yeah I feel bad for Acchan, whatever the case was. She's an ace and has never fucked up like that. I just hope she doesn't feel too down about it, but I imagine it has to be a bit embarrassing.

Saw this live. Pretty good to finally see an AKB event when it's actually happening

White kind of ran away with it from the get go. Sashihara trolling like a king. That performance sealed for me. There were definitely a lot of cool performances. SKE and NMB doing each other's songs was pretty nice. JKT showing up out of nowhere was pretty awesome.

Some other notables:
Matsui Sakiko was lovely.
Beginner acoustic had a pretty decent arrangement, but I thought Takamina sings better than that :/

Red had the better singers. Mocchi and Tomo~mi sang great, Yuka and Wasamin somehow gets wasted on that Christmas song :| why not solo?
Mariko and Kojiharu, the oldest members doing that song is just funny.
Feel bad for Acchan. Good effort to try to save it despite whatever problem, but watching that was awkward and terrible.
Some girls sang pretty shitty, but yay for live singing.

It was a fun event.
