Quote
On October 17th, there will be a special girl idol event at the Shibuya Glad, called, “LIVE*015 ‘Harouinrori Pop’“.  The event will feature female idol groups Tokyo Girls’ Style and Momoiro Clover on the same day, and both groups will doing a live Ustream broadcast of their segments.

Tokyo Girls’ Style mentioned a story involving their live stream event for the release of their single, “Himawari to Hoshikuzu/Kitto Wasurenai…,” on October 10th.  Apparently Tokyo Girls’ Style had used the location right after it was used for a Momoiro Clover event.  One of the Momoiro members had forgotten her headdress from their new single at the site, and instead of having it returned to the member through their manager, Tokyo Girls’ Style said that they wanted to deliver it personally themselves at their joint event on the 17th.

It is very unusual to see such a “promise” between two idols, especially in this era of idol group rivalries.  Those who missed the exchange between the two groups earlier will be able to see it in the archive section of the Ustream channel.

The October 17th event will feature both idol groups, and everyone should make sure to tune into the live event to see the special encounter and friendship between Tokyo Girls’ Style and Momoiro Clover.

I hadn't heard of these girls until recently. I had d/led the Tokyo Idol Festival to see Idoling (don't listen to their music, but I like the show) and figured I'd watch the whole thing. The only other group I had heard of beforehand besides Idoling was Tokyo Girls' Style (who were awesome). I must say, when Momoiro Clover performed, I quickly went from "what is this insanity I'm watching?" to "This is AMAZERING! o-o". When Kanako jumped up during Ikuze! Kaito Shoujo (girl's got hops), I was like "YES! This is IT!!", the chaotic whirlwind of colorful outfits and crazy acrobatic moves struck a nerve with my inner wota and I was hooked. It's only fitting that Ikuze! Kaito Shoujo is a song about how awesome Momoclo is and how they're going to kick my ass with moé, devouring my heart, because that's just what happened.
I haven't been into idol music in a long time and I had begun to forget why I even liked it to begin with, but Momoclo reminded me how awesome it is to just flip out to some genki-ass music and join in on wota chants (yes, sitting in front of my comp at 4am). I must say, I am just smitten with Momoclo.

Akari's currently my favorite, because she's a halfie (at least, I think she is...).

(also, dem eyebrows <33)

^ Yaaay MomoClo Love!!!  :twothumbs I love when people recognize how amazing they are.

Pinky Jones ranked #8 on the weekly Oricon, selling 22,936; this might sound iffy, but it's a good 400 more than Ikuze Kaitou Shoujo got in their first week. They were up against some really stiff competition, so getting #8's pretty good. I'm proud of them <3

Alistair Overeem, K-1 & MMA fighter with the girls in Japan.

Bumped into this stuff earlier while browsing MMA content... I had no idea who the girls were but they seemed somehow familiar and I figured it out pretty fast.

Now, they're featured in his online documentary "Reem", starting at the 3:10 mark.

It's good to be the Reem.  :theking
