Just watched the final Shikenger ep... already missing Kotoha.
But, there's still the 2 movies to look forward to when they get subbed.

Now its on to the new series Goseiger.

Same here, Kotoha was a really cute character. at least she can still be seen on Idoling!!! shows

Watched Goseiger ep1. Dunno why, but it suddenly feels so old overall. Hope it gets better.

Saw the first ep of Goseiger, not too shabby, looking forward to more.
Caught up with DaiRanger and GaoRanger, also Hurricanger.

When I was offline, I watched Boukenger once again... thankfully I have an Xbox 360 to watch stuff.
Now I'm watching Sazer X.

I also got to thinking about the OPs and EDs to toku and sentai series, and which ones I tended to like more... or, actually the one's I could remember.

The OPs I like, from sentai: Shikenger, Dekaranger, Jetman, Go-Onger, Gaoranger, Gingaman, GoGo-V, Timeranger, Dynaman, Hurricanger, Abaranger, Ohranger, Boukenger, Kakuranger, Gekiranger

The sentai EDs I Like: Dekaranger (Original and Girls In Trouble), Magiranger, Go-Onger, Gekiranger, Abaranger, Timeranger, Boukenger, Kakuranger, Shikenger

KR OPs I like: Decade, Den-O, Blade, Kabuto, Agito, Kiva, Hibiki, V3, Stronger, Black, Black RX, Faiz, Ryuki, Kuuga, W

Other toku OPs I like: Gransazer, Justiriser, Sazer X, Ryukendo, Rescue Force (Both OPs), Rescue Fire (JAM PROJECT RAWKS!)

I had to use youtube to check the OPs and EDs, since I never tend to remember them.

K, gotta ask, am I the only one who thought that the "Jimmy" character looked a lot like Teppei from WaT?

EDIT: Looks like TV-Nihon is having a discussion (dare I say, a debate) about whether they should keep encoding their SD releases in Xvid or if they should make the move to encode them in H264 like they do with their HD releases. Currently their SD encode would stay at a res of 704x396, the discussion/debate is about whether or not the SD encode should be an Xvid/AVI file or a H264/MP4 file. If you would like a say in this then go to this thread on TV-Nihon's forums, place your vote and even state your reasons for your choice if you wish.

Personally I voted to keep the Xvid for the SD encodes. Since the resolution of the video would remain at 704x396 anyway, the difference in video quality would be negligible. TV-N's head Admin, takenoko, says it best in the first post of the thread:

By the looks of it there's one TV-N member in particular who appears to almost be campaigning to get rid of the Xvid encode completely and to go exclusively H264. Now I don't know about you guys, but having the 2 different options for encodes makes sense to me because it allows people to have a choice in what they get. People who have newer comps and/or who want higher a quality picture can get the HD encodes (it's why the HD encodes were started in the first place, right?), knowing full well that they need to sacrifice a little more hard drive space in order to get that higher quality video. People who have older comps don't necessarily have trouble with the H264 codec itself, it's just that Xvid simply works better/easier for them. Sure they may not be getting A+ quality video, but that's fine for them. They can live with having B to B+ quality video because at least they can watch the show (which, in the end what everyone wants to do) without any real hassle. People that want the A+ quality video can and will go for the HD encode. People who don't need it can go for the SD one.

Oh, and I liked the different intro song clip. That was a nice touch.
