Watched all Kuuga's episodes yesterday. I checked out 2-3eps before when it was aired on tv 10 years ago.
Just 2 points about the series:
1. In the recent Kamen Rider shows, a lot of pedestrians die. Buildings would drop on hundreds of people, and the hero really doesn't do much about it. Hell, sometimes he helps destroying the city.
It wasn't until W that they started helping people again. But in Kuuga it was like the mission of the hero to defend everyone. In the ending episodes Ichijo (the cop guy) even says that uncountable people were killed, innocent people who had dreams. woah!
2. I didn't know Joe Odagiri did Kamen Rider before. My first time seeing him was as a stupid cop in Jikou Keisatsu. That's like totally not Kamen Rider-like.
