A 34-year-old Jacksonville man was indicted Thursday on a federal charge of tampering with consumer products after as many as 12 enemas were used, resealed and returned to a CVS store on San Jose Boulevard, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Several of the used enemas were resold to unsuspecting customers before the tampering was discovered.

Ronald Eugene Robinson had been arrested June 15 at an apartment complex at 4320 Sunbeam Road on an out-of-county warrant, jail records show. If convicted he faces a up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, according to prosecutors.
