Congrats!!
I like it that the family didn't make the speech super dramatic/tragic, but instead said they wanted to celebrate his achievements or sth like that... I think the makers of the Oscars had hoped for lots of drama (I mean wtf was up with the ridiculous way of dedicating a little speech to each acting nominee), but I think the family's speech showed good taste, and was touching without going overboard. Not that I expected any less; Heath's family seems to consist of lovely down-to-earth Aussies, based on the articles I've read with their comments etc.
And I'm happy that this Heath & Oscar nomination stuff finally got some closure
