^ I've had conversations about this with people. We'll just have to wait and see really. Personally, I'm nervous about the situation. Forget promotions, what about performances? will she have to sit in the corner while the rest of the group shakes their butts during Bo Peep??? The inherent sexual undertones of pop make for some dicey pseudo child pornography-esq situations.

I remember GP Basic having that problem, the twelve year old got barred from performing on Music Bank and those shows. Chocolat didn't have any problems performing, and neither did the rest on GP Basic, so I guess fourteen year olds are safe under the law. Dani's birthday is supposedly in December, CCM has said she turns fourteen this year, and they announced that she will be waiting until December to join T-ara on stage, so they might be waiting until December for legal reasons.

I'd like to believe that Kim Kwang Soo is smart enough to not add a girl who can't even legally perform with T-ara, but who knows, he could surprise me.

I thought this was kinda cute, I've never seen her tweet in English before.

At least to me, the legality of the situation doesn't sufficiently answer the whole question. I have ethical and moral qualms about having children performing as such under giant corporations. Of course no company has to ask me first whether or not they can do business haha but I genuinely worry about all this.

Since I come from H!P fandom I'm used to seeing kids work as idols, however, it's very different in Japan compared to Korea. For instance, in Japan nobody under 18 is allowed to work after 9PM. They still get to have free time, family time and go to school.

And then, meet T-ara who may only get 3h of sleep at night, may spend months without an opportunity to meet their family, whom fans send food to because they know the girls might otherwise go hungry (I know other kpop groups get this as well, but I believe my point still stands lol). How does throwing such a young girl into the mix work?

The sexualization would be a problem even if T-ara never performed a sexy song ever again and dressed up as nuns. Because in any case, they are putting this girl up on the stage to be ogled at, and that's going to attract a certain type of male fans (in addition to more normal fans). What she does, what she wears doesn't matter. It's like how pedophiles convince themselves that children are trying to seduce them (when in reality they are just acting normally). When you put a girl on stage, she will become the target of this kind of attention no matter what. It's kind of the burden of being female. However, not everyone has to or will read it or view it this way. Some casual fans might not notice anything strange about her presence. Perhaps she will be able to blend in with her height alone, as long as she's not given any questionable dancing solos lol. I don't want to judge the performances with her until I see how it looks. Ugh I guess, TL;DR Dani being added to the group would be problematic no matter what, but it doesn't have to ruin everything for everyone...? LOL

Looks like Jiyeon suffered some sort of injury to her nose recently T_T

I think I always injure myself seriously... right before a comeback..
It must be some comeback jinx...heoheoheo...
ㅠㅠㅠ Really... it was the first time I got seriously injured like this so it was really..scary for me too..
Since we're having a comeback without having much time to recover.. it's tiring but I should hang in there..^^ For our fans!!
I'll show a good side of myself at the comeback stages~
Please give Day by Day a lot of love~

She actually won't be at the first comeback stage performances at least... ToT I was looking forward to seeing her the most...

What kind of serious injury can one have on their nose? ...Is it broken?!? Or maybe just bruised...

Ah I'm so worried... Please get well soon, Jiyeon  T___T

I didn't know that... ;_; I saw her message earlier but I didn't even know what she was talking about until now. I'm so excited to see their comeback stage, but she's one of my favorites and it's not the same with one of them missing.

Well it should be great anyway, with the orchestra and all, and they'll be performing 떠나지마 which is my favorite song on the album.

Jiyeon is supposed to start filming for Running Man on the 9th, can't wait to see that.

Some Eunjung + Boram cuteness.

Aww, poor Jiyeon. Is she really not going to perform? Didn't see anything confirming that or the scope of her injury.

http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=106&oid=111&aid=0000287453

Well, don't see her in any of the pics of the Music Core recordings where they pimp Areum @ Naver at least...

But yeah, Day by Day + Don't Leave with a 70-member orchestra? They sure are making this comeback epic in more ways than one.

I'm digging the album a lot, only the last track is forgettable. Don't Leave (떠나지마) has become my fave track on the album as well. The intro, the power vocals and especially the rap interlude with the awesome piano/string thing are awesome. Fits so well to the scenes in the mv, too.

Some photos of the mini-pb that came with the mini-album, I suppose? Hope we get some big scans soon. :yep:

Damn...Hwayoung looks positively delicious in that pic.

I still haven't gotten my shirt, but I'm not sure I see myself wearing it in the near future XD...still, it needs to hurry up...along with my Day by Day album. I'm not against tearing it up for scanning purposes, but if I can avoid it I'd like that even more :P

Also, looks like we lose. Our blondie has gone black ;_;...and still looks amazing. Not sure what the absolute worst hair color in the world is, but I'm sure she could wear it and still look great.

Totally hypocritical, since I'd be one of the first ones throwing up my arms if they made her perform shortly after she got "seriously hurt", but I really want to see Jiyeon during the "Don't Leave" performances XD...looks fine here, though O_o

Eunjung T-shirt looks awesome!   8)

I still haven't ordered one yet, due to uncertainty about sizing. :( Could you possibly please let me know what size you got and how it compares to western t-shirt sizing? I'm really hoping the L will be big enough for a male 36-38 inch chest.

Thanks in advance  :thumbsup

^ I wasn't planning on wearing it, but since you asked I just tried it on.

I bought a large, and I think it fits more like a medium shirt. So if you were looking for a more baggy fit, a large I don't think will do. Other than that, the sleeves on it were much shorter than I thought. I was assuming it would be around my elbows, but it was maybe 2 or 3 inches shorter. Try to get a X-Large, perhaps even the 2X if they are still in stock.

In any case, the shirt looks awesome.

^ Wow that was quick!  :thumbsup Thanks very much thatonezombie.

Can I assume that you're roughly the same size as me and usually take M or L in western T-shirts depending on brand? Sounds like Korean sizing is quite a bit smaller and I'm really not a fan of too short sleeves, particulary if they're kinda tight. Probably safer going for an XL, like you suggest - just slightly concerned that XL maybe a little long and, if tucked into trousers toi compensate might have some of the print obscured. Or doesn't the print go all the way down?

Yeah, I do usually buy either M or L. The sleeves are fairly loose. The print doesn't go all the way down. I measured from the tip of the loop from the signature and there is a good 6 1/2 inches from that to the seam at the bottom so no worries about hiding the print. I even pulled out my ruler

You could also hold off a bit for more reference. I'm about a 38-39" chest, 5'11" height 165-170lbs...dunno if you're of a similar build, but I pretty much always buy medium, very rarely Large if the shirts run pretty small (like I assume these do). I prefer to wear my clothes rather well fitted, though, so I'm not sure if what I consider a good fit also applies for you.

Either way, I should be getting it soon, so that would be one more to the list of feedback :P

Awesome, TOZ! Many thanks for answering all my questions.   :twothumbs

Would you say the L is a tight fit or loose but not baggy? Main concern for me is room to move at shoulders and arms. Other than that, I don't know why I'm contemplating buying another T-shirt , since the UK summer is wet and miserable!

But it's Eunjung and it looks awesome and maybe we'll get one sunny day round about August when I could wear it!  XD

Edit: Just noticed DioBrando's post whilst i was still typing. Thanks for your input DB!  :thumbsup

For reference,  I'm about a 36-38" chest, 5'8"' or 5'9" and about 126lbs - so not exactly the biggest individual. XD
