The T-ara subunit had released a dance version and a drama version of their MV. It was the drama version that raised eyebrows as some noticed two scenes in which a poster for a dance competition was spotted. The poster features a disco ball and 16 red rays emanating from it, much like the 16 rays of the Rising Sun Flag. The girls also dance in front of a big banner containing the symbol later on.

The Rising Sun Flag is considered offensive to several countries in Asia including China and Korea with the flag having been used by the Imperial Japanese Army up until the end of the World War II. Since the flag was used during Japanese occupation of Korea, many Koreans take great offense to seeing flags and illustrations that resemble the flag.

Reminds me of the SNSD "scandal" when the hats they were wearing while promoting Genie (I think?) were too similar to the ones worn by Nazi's during WWII. Good times.

O HAI party people! Long time, no see. Phew, marriage sure does take your time away from the internets. I honestly have not kept up with kpop since SNSD's I Got A Boy, though I briefly came back when D-unit came out with their new song and member (which were both awesome). And now I couldn't miss T-ara's sub unit's debut! Ah, how I miss their mish mashed sounds. That song was all over the place in the best way possible. LoL I loved both MVs, drama version made me miss invincible youth so much, Hyomin owned that show. At first I was a little disappointed that they put the original members (plus the new girl) together like all the time. I wished the others had cameoed in the video at least. But yeah biased T-ara fan is biased, instant thumbs up. I love their goofiness.
