And yes! Rika, Miki, and Koharu all performing together in the same group, definitely my dream team. I can't wait for this concert to come out cause I know it'll be awesome.

Ten of Morning Musume's OG members held an event on Friday to reveal that they have launched a new group called Dream Morning Musume. The participating members are Yuko Nakazawa (37), Kaori Iida (29), Natsumi Abe (29), Kei Yasuda (30), Mari Yaguchi (28), Rika Ishikawa (26), Hitomi Yoshizawa (25), Makoto Ogawa (23), Miki Fujimoto (25), and Koharu Kusumi (18). Originally, Nozomi Tsuji (23) was also planned to be a part of the group, but she just gave birth to her second child in December so she will be focusing on raising her children for now.

The new unit will hold a spring concert tour, titled "Dream Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011: Haru no Mai ~Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei~." The tour will start on April 23 in Aichi and continue for a total of 16 concerts in 7 locations, including Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Kanagawa, and Hiroshima. They have a second, longer tour planned for the fall, with a similar "Aki no Mai" title. That one will take them to 20 venues for a total of 40 concerts.

Dream Morning Musume will release their first album on April 20, titled "DoriMusu 1." The album's track list will mainly consist of remakes of Morning Musume songs, but 2 new songs are also planned.

How awesome is it to see Yaguchi performing as a Morning Musume again? Really a dream come true.

I have some love for the girl, so I hope the real world has managed to prepare Koha for the reality of being in a group with the scariest senpais she's never had the pleasure of experiencing. She may run off crying into the night.

Konkon is starting her new job around the time that tour starts!

I think they just grabbed all the ex-Musumes they could and stuck em in the group.
I remember some early announcement said that Tsuji was going to be in this group too.
Aside from her and Konkon, there's really no one else they could have put in.

I personally don't mind having Koharu in. Sure, she seems kinda out-of-place, but I think she'll add some spice to the group. Whenenver the Momusu OGs appear on shows, it's usually some combination of the other 9, so having Koharu in will make things more interesting, I think.

(Plus she was in MM Tanjo 10nen Kinentai and I think she fit well in that, so I think she'll do fine here, too)

If Tsuji was in, I'd be even happier, but I'm still excited!

(Junjun and Linlin, too. ._. I wouldn't expect Eri to appear because she wants to deal with her skin condition, but I'd love to see Junjun and Linlin. Oh well. =/)

And while I love all of the girls, I'm mostly excited for Yossie. WOOOOO! (Rika, Yuko, and Miki, too, but mostly Yossie. xD)

I don't know. I'm of the apparently unpopular opinion of not minding Koha being in the group. I know she -just- graduated, but I think she's a good fit. She was such a pivotal part of Morning Musume in general and Tsunku said she was his "ace," so it makes a lot of sense.

He did say that at the beginning but after 4 years he 'had to let her go' and said things along the lines of 'some more training might be required'.

Koha's selection process was so ...

it marked the downturn of MM for me, her being in this is not possitive. I hope the rest overshadows (or Yuko/Kei can control her), w'll see.
