Okay, so J-Pop Summit is a little over two weeks away now, yet there still hasn't been any official announcement from either side on Tomochin coming, beyond that Fanime booth. I'm starting to wonder if this was a false start on the festival's end or or some kind of sudden cancellation (maybe the handshake attack incident made her management reconsider?), because plastering her name and face all over their posters and flyers before finalizing anything is a pretty bold move for them.

It was awesome being able to see Tomochin in person, though the crowds made it tough to get good photos at times.

Nice article on the event!
I was there also, both Union Square and J-town events and really enjoyed it despite the huge crowds around the Peace Plaza. The ramen booth lines were 2 blocks long!
Itano was better than I expected. She sounded great and seemed very sweet and pleasant. I was kinda hoping she might play a different set at the Pagoda but it was fine either way. Hope she can make it back to SF again soon.
May'n was the biggest surprise to me. Her voice just blew me away. I really hope to see her perform again too.
I couldn't upload some of my pics due to my post count. But, they're basically like yours but from different angles :)

It was a very fun weekend and nice to see DJCoco there too, she's awesome! :thumbsup
