Megumi is the girl who made wearing glasses cool. Thanks to her people with poor sight are never gonna get dissed again. Megumi is also known for being the sarcastic studio commentator of Hello Project Hour news segment. The chemistry between Yuko and Megumi was uncanny. Anyway to be honest I never really noticed her until she started wearing glasses and I guess she's one of the reasons why I have a glasses fetish nowadays :oops:

True dat. I liked Murata way more than both Konno and Makoto. The best episodes were the ones where they advertised Melon Kinenbi releases, Murata was always hilarious in those :D

By the way, because Youtube (Or rather, TV Tokyo) was being an ass, there's no more HPW, so I was wondering if anywho could give me (or those who also haven't seen HPW with Megumi) some links, or rather, translated conversations of the HPW featuring Megumi? The only time I ever saw her was in the Judgement day episode, and I'm very sure that she's done funnier things, judging by the comments about them here. Utilizing Megumi's character for something in the future if you all are curious as to why I asked.

She usually wears just frames now. If you see Kaori's grad concert behind the scenes, I think Miyoshi and her are talking and Erika puts her finger through her eyeglass frame while Murata's wearing it (cute and funny)

I'm posting this just for L-san. :)

Summary of Muracchi's blog post:

They had rehearsals today. Melon received white envelopes which were actually their medical checkup reports. Only Muracchi's report had a hand written comment attached to it. The reason being that her blood sugar level increased slightly. And her cholesterol level was also the highest among Melon. She said that this was probably due to her recent over-eating and that she will take care from now on. Muracchi also advises everyone to do a medical checkup and "take care of your body"!

Next, she visited Sendai a few days ago and went down to support Vegalta Sendai(a soccer team) at Yurtec Stadium Sendai. She plans to go there again next year. Then she bought a DS game called Kabutore and visited Akiu Ootaki(a waterfall-she uploaded a picture of it too).

Muracchi says that she had a fulfilling weekend. :D

And she promoted the mini album a bit. One more week before its release! Everyone, please support "Melon Juice"!

A short one this time, here goes:

Muracchi heard something about Melon Kinenbi coming from the TV(from a show called Ameto--ku). The TV was turned on but she happened not to be watching it at that time. When she rushed to the front of the TV, Akai Freesia was being played. But Muracchi says it's ok since she's recording the programme.

(After watching the programme..)

She said that she felt quite flattered and lucky when her name appeared on the screen. "Arigato Gozaimasu~ (^∀^)" Muracchi then says that she wonders if the other members watched it too since in the day they were saying that "tonight's Ameto--ku is a must-see♪".

And she signed off with "ム∞メ".

Is that a pair of glasses in between ム and メ? I so miss those glasses days..

Well then, in 2007 we rocked Zepp Nagoya in our first Countdown Live! Looking back at last year when we had a lot of live concerts, it was the best way to end the year. To all wotamodachis and staff who have looked after us the whole year, a big thank you.

If you think about it carefully, isn't this the first time Hello has had a Countdown Live? (As a live by itself)
As far as I've dreamed, this Countdown Live felt really good~ We also could see very clearly from the stage that the wotamodachis from the front till those at the very back of the 2nd floor were really passionate. I hope that this year we could also have a gathering on the 31st Dec again. I'll work hard each day from now on!

Wotamodachis who are at home waiting for an opportunity and those who couldn't come because of work, let's create lots of Melon memories together this year!(^∞^)

This reminds me, my off day(30th) at Nagoya was an enriching one~!
Together with Sister Meru, I went to a cat cafe. (I really like cats a lot but sadly, I am slightly allergic to cats! However I still felt like going.. It was a time of kaikai(scratching sound), zuruzuru(dragging sound) and moemoe(manga term for having a crush on)!)

Travelling alone. (This is the first time I changed trains at Nagoya!)
I went for Soba Broth(even though after this it's called eel fillets) at Mister Donut and Parco, with the PET(polyethylene terephthalate) Soup.

After meeting up with everyone, we went to eat eel fillets(a long time ago, a half-asleep Hitomin poured green tea on her own head here. what a nostalgic place.) While we were eating, everyone's eyes were fixed on Mashii's and the manager's 1 seg!

Wow~ I'm truly happy for them. Congrats! Also, I hope you guys will have more confidence and continue to work hard.

My Megumi story: Kind of like one of the "unknown" members of Melon Kinenbi, Masae had the weird hair, Saito was bold and sexy, and Shibata was girl nextdoor delicious. She really stood out to me during the Sexy Onna episodes when she had her lab scientist schtick and would adjust her glasses up and down with the squeak motion. From here on out, she'd wear em sexily througout all her performances. She was also quirky and blunt at times, a real funny foil to the crazy Saito and tomboy Masae and girly Shibata.
