BoA to Return to Local Stage

Pop star BoA will return to the local stage after a five-year hiatus, and release a new album in August, SM Entertainment said Monday.
SM said the 24-year-old has been preparing the album to mark the 10th anniversary of her local debut this year. She has been active mostly in Japan and the United States since her fifth album, ``Girls on Top,'' in 2005.
BoA unveiled her seventh album, ``Indentity,'' in Japan last month _ she was also involved as a producer. She plans to end her Japanese concert tour on April 16. The tour was launched on Feb. 17.
``BoA is preparing to make her local comeback by the end of this year but details on the album have yet to be determined,'' an SM official said. ``Despite the resumption of her singing in Korea, she will continue her U.S. activities.''

Popseoul reports that On March 1st, SM Entertainment revealed that BoA will be releasing a full length Korean album on August 25th. This album marks the day of her 10th anniversary since her first debut (http://popseoul.com/2010/03/02/boa-makes-her-10th-anniversary-comeback-in-korea/).

Whee! I hope that her new Korean stuff will be better than her Japanese stuff.If not, I just hope that it's better than her English stuff at least. :ph43r:
