Chapter 29: The Mission as Well as The Past (Part 2)
Yuisuke’s POV
“Yuki!”
I saw him drop to the ground after arriving on Haruka’s request. It pained to see him like that..
“Haruka, cover me whilst I get Yuki!”
“Roger!”
“Wait! Yuisuke, grab his laser gun, he wouldn’t want that lost.”
“Okay.” I rushed over to him, grabbed his laser gun and grabbed him in an attempt to make an escape. Yet I couldn’t, too many of them were flooding the area, we were surrounded.
“Hand Kashiwagi Yuki over to us, Yokoyama Yuisuke.”
“Never, Yuki’s an asset to us and we’ll never hand him over!”
“Fine, then so be it, you’ll pay afterwards.”
He then took a knife out of his pocket and charged toward me, anger shown on his face. I suddenly recognised his face.
“Sayu?! Why are you doing this?”
“It’s because I wanted revenge, on you Yuisuke. I wanted you dead for what you did to me!”
“Sayu! That wasn’t me, don’t you understand! That day when ‘I’ supposedly killed your parents. it wasn’t me!”
“....”
“See, now that you realise, will you come back?”
“I’m sorry, for not understanding. I just wanted my parents back for so long; I didn’t want a war but you asked for it.”
“So, will you come back?”
“Anytime but for now, lets beat some skulls.”
“You and Haruka cover me, I’ll get Yuki~”
“That giraffe got injured again? I’m pretty sure he’s not a giraffe but a cat with 9 lives.”
“You don’t say?”
A masked man interrupted our reunion with a slight annoyance.
“Yamamoto Sayu, you’ll pay for your betrayal.”
“Do you think I give two fucks?”
I saw Sayu charging towards those guys shooting anyone and everyone in sight, of course there was also Haruka sniping some of them for us, leaving great space for me to escape with Yuki.
“Excuse me, Yokoyama-kun, but you’re not going anywhere.”
That same masked man towered over me. I didn’t know what to do next….
