Yuki’s POV
From Mayu to Yuisuke, man…. We should’ve come more prepared…
I gripped my lasers guns that were holstered in their cases on my sides, in case of a sudden attack.
“S-Stop r-right t-there!” A guard shouted, scared out of her wits, I instantly recognised her face, it was Kitahara Rie, Rino’s secret crush.
“I won’t shoot you. Just tell me where Maeda Atsuko and Takahashi Kai are, KitaRie.”
“Y-Yuki?! Please. Help me.”
“I will, just take me to Maeda and Takahashi, please Rie.”
“Okay, I’ll take you to them, just please help me with my predicament.”
“What is it?”
“I want to go back to Rino… I want to see him again after what? 11 years?”
“Let’s go back, I don’t care if someone comes looking for you.”
“Un.”
We were walking for at least 10 minutes before we got back to base. Wota was surprised at who came back with me.
“Rie?! I-I thought you had died during that raid?”
“It so happened that my heart started beating again, and ever since then, I was undercover as a guard for the jackass who has captured Atsuko and Kai.”
“At least we have another person who knows this place.”
“Rie, you’re...You're really back!” He came and hugged her tightly, which means he has feelings for not just me anymore.
“Rino...I came back, because of you, I couldn’t take not being with you...”
“Rie…”
“Kitarie, how bad is the situation down there?”
“Since they want you, Yuki, it’ll be heavily-”
“Mayu’s been captured by them!” Yuisuke interrupted Rie, with some shocking news.
“What?!”
“She’s been captured by Atsuko and Kai’s brainwasher!”
“I thought you were sleeping.”
“I was, but I heard some screaming… Turns out it was Mayu.”
“Rie, Yuisuke, come with me, we’re going to get Mayu back…. And fast.”
