Predict the 1st week sales of AKB48's new single Chance no Junban (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=25649.0)!
-
500k
-
Yeah, I'm thinking 400~550...
December is an expensive month and there have been a lot of expensive akb releases lately (concert dvd box, psp game, etc). I think that'll hurt the sales somewhat.
-
A million.
-
hmm.. i think 500k would be nice
-
600k
-
600k, NINKI polls imply it's more popular AND it has 3 versions rather than just 2(well and theatre of course)
-
I say 500k since the single doesn't seem to have as much hype as Beginner. Chance no Junban will probably end up doing Ponytail numbers...
-
500k just cause the Chance no Junban isn't baller status which is ultimately what we're gonna hear the most per single. This however hasn't stopped wota before
-
i want them to achieve their fourth consecutive single selling over 500K.
500K is my vote.
-
500k or bust
-
Yeah, I'm thinking 500K as well. The fact that it doesn't have the normal all-star senbatsu plus it's so close to Christmas, I doubt it'll do as well as Beginner. It IS an AKB release though, so it'll still do pretty damn well.
-
400K at most
-
900k
Just following the trend, like those banks did during the housing bubble.
-
I reckon about 500k -- they've been doing well so 400k would probably be the worst they could do with their fan base-- I don't think this single will be too popular as the top girls aren't featured overly and you may only buy the single of your favourite/favourite member's team and the songs weren't as edgey or as shocking as Beginner and Heavy Rotation before it, but as there are 3 versions with different team songs I could see people buying all versions which will hopefully support sales if the single isn't popular overall.
Though I feel like their 20th single could sell over a mil easily if the songs are good!!~~

I'm gonna go with 600K here; the past singles of 2010 have all topped 500K and I'm hoping for the same for this one just to round out this year. Realistically though, I doubt this will go all too much higher than 600K, what with the lack of the usual front girls + completely new faces in the senbatsu.
