2 months pregnant and is about to get married. The father is Sugiura Taiyou...an actor, I think. No comment from UFA yet.
I was told to add unconfirmed in the title. :P It's now on various news, though. If this isn't true, there's gonna be some major lawsuit, I think.

and there is a problem with 19 sometimes, because if you're still a child yourself its gonna be tough to raise a kid but I fully admire anyone who does so well. I'm just not so sure that clumsy tsuji, who can catch herself on fire cooking breakfast, is quite ready for a child. Who knows, no one on here truly knows her so I guess we can't really make that judgement.
Nono is always going to be my favourite H!P member, ex-members included so whether she's in or out GO NONO!!

Seriously, Tsuji's alleged "best friend" got fired after working with her for approximately 6 years, there's no way she could've taken that easily. There's even a possibility that more things will come out, for better or for worse. Bring it on.

First of all, JunJun is 19 so I doubt she's going to go "OH NOEZ! I can't lose to that!" and get preggers this instant.
Second of all, they have Yuko, Nacchi, Kaori, Kei, Yossi, Rika, and of course the leader and subleader, Miki and Ai, who are going to be a lot closer to them that Tsuji is/was, so I don't think there's any shortage of "good" role models. Plus we can't shelter Koha and Aika, they live in this world too and there are 19 year olds that get pregnant.
But anyway, it's not like Tsuji is in college, or starting a career. She's been a successful idol for over 6 years now and probably has a more comfortable lifestyle than most 19 year olds.

according to some other websites, with several sources, they said that she really is pregnant with that dude and they'll getting married on June 17th, tsuji's birthday.
though they also said that it hadn't been confirm yet. If this is true and she really did plan for this. i hope she will be happy. although i don't know how this'll affect her future idol career...

What would be "something stupid" in your opinion? Because these girls sign a CONTRACT. And this seems like the kind of things that such CONTRACT says should not happen. So they may like her and be sympathetic to her, but business wise, they will enforce the contract and terminate her services.

Well this has kind of sunk in a bit now...
There's a few people who don't really seem to care about this, for me anything concerning Tsuji will be big news as she's one of the main reasons I got into H!P in the first place and she's still oneof my favourite members. I'm gonna try and look on the brightside of things here...this new Ganguro group seemed poor imho and hopefully, should UFA talk action with Tsuji then this means she can go and join Kago..unlikely, but I can dream.

Uhm, didn't a close-friend/manager/partner of Tsuji got fired recently (assuming she was fired by Tsuji), and then she went to the news and exposed a lot of Tsuji's secrets (marriage, and pregnancy).

Well, if the pregnancy part turns out to be false (and so far, apparently, UFA has only confirmed the marriage part) then there's a chance she'll remain in UFA. After all it's just a girl in love getting married, and the Idoru's "role-model" thing remains by telling the girls that they should marry before anything else happens. I hope this is the case.

Oh man, my beloved Double U have totally imploded in every way! I would have thought this was one of the cutest and most innocent of H!P units, but they both have completely run amok now. I feel sad for them both, but Nono seemed set to have a solo career, or with Gyaruru, which now must be in doubt. I will still love and always play Double U vids and songs, but it must only be as a memory now. I'm not surprised in a way that Nono fell in this way - she was becoming hotter and hotter, and must have been totally attractive to every guy who she came across, so it was only a matter of time before her own hormones got her to give in to one of them.
At least she's getting married and hopefully will be happy - though I am reminded of Utada Hikaru's marriage at a young age, which has now just collapsed this year. I hope for better for Nono, but experience says otherwise.
I hope the baby is as cute as she is! Who knows - in years to come, if it's a girl, it could be the first H!P member to follow her mother into H!P.

Well, UFA confirmed it all. Well, there she goes. At least she was not fired, they are saying she decided to leave her showbiz activities looking for peace due to her pregnancy, so at least they are saying SHE made the decision, and the tone seems like they are supportive. They will held a press conference on the 10th.
Tsuji's showbiz father, producer Tsunku (38) says: "She's been doing a good job as a singer until now, and now when she met the love of her life, she will be able to gain new experiences!".

What does she have to graduate from? The only group she's in (Gyaruru) hasn't even debuted yet. And, apparently, she's not leaving H!P/UFA for good.

It is not likely, because the summer tour starts in July, and according to reports she's getting married on her birthday, June 17th.

Another thing is, soon or later, we won't see Nono on Gatas... whether she's still in H!P or not as she can't play futsal when she is pregnant.
So I think what may happen is Tsuji will have her press conference, then will be off air for couple of months (which will hold back everything in Gyaruru), and we will need to wait again and see if she is coming back to work...

Hmm, coming to think of it. I don't think there has been graduations for solo's leaving H!P, so you're right. But that's been like Heike Michiyo, Chinatsu Miyoshi and that was along time ago, and they didn't play such a big part as Tsuji has had for H!P... At first, after hearing this news, i didn't know what to think, good or bad, although i'd admit, i'm a lil dissappointed. but now that i have a night of sleep to think about the situation. it's not actually that bad. instead it's some really good news. Nozomi getting married and (if true) is pregnant is yes, shocking in the least. but i really do wish her the best of lucky and her husband-to-be. Congratulations!!!
At least this, from my point of view, is not viewed in a negative way. I mean H!P/UFA is handling this nicely, of course cuz there's is nothing wrong about this, she, like anyone, hope to get married with the person they love. She did this basically by the book, in a sense, nothing wrong, no laws were broken, unlike her W counterpart, aibon, who smoke and caught with a man with a bad reputation.

even though the chances are slim, since in japanese culture, and asian in general, when a woman gets married and start a family, they'll usually become a full-time housewife. although nowadays, the process is getting delayed or working slower, since woman with careers now will probably get married first, but still work, then wait a while before starting a family and then gradually becoming a full-time housewife. i dunno anything much, this is just theory, since i'm a guy and have no idea whatsoever how woman thinks ( but who does!, haha)
all in all, i view this as good news, i dunno why i ever thought this was bad...must be the shocking moment. there's no reason she can't make a good comeback in the showbiz world since, at least to me, this is handled nicely. and if u truly are a true fan, no matter what happen, u'll still support them rite. cuz like i said, she did nothing wrong. except fall in love, but if that is the case then we're all guilty.

Indeed. Much as I will miss her (lots) and hope she does not stop singing, but comes back after the birth, I am feeling happy for her if she has indeed met the 'love of her life'. Meeting someone like that and starting a family is so special. Real stuff, not showbiz fluff.

From what I can tell from programs from japan girls often idealise about their wedding and it seems they think pretty traditional but I know you can't know how everyone will think.

I know some people her age with a kid and were not ready for something like this, but most things turned out fine. I don't see how this is necessarily bad news. No laws were broken, just the hearts of many fans lol Tsuji wanted to get out of her cutesy image years ago. I think the people who thought of her as cute innocent for the past few years were just blind to this. She needs to take responsibilty for her actions and I think she's doing a good job at doing so. This isn't the same as what happened to Aibon. The news is much bigger but the way it was handled is commendable I think.

I know some people her age with a kid and were not ready for something like this, but most things turned out fine. I don't see how this is necessarily bad news. No laws were broken, just the hearts of many fans lol Tsuji wanted to get out of her cutesy image years ago. I think the people who thought of her as cute innocent for the past few years were just blind to this. She needs to take responsibilty for her actions and I think she's doing a good job at doing so. This isn't the same as what happened to Aibon. The news is much bigger but the way it was handled is commendable I think.

With Aibon, I was sad because she was going to come back, but then that second scandal....I figured that Aibon doesn't want to be our cute little Aibon anymore, and I let her go.
But with Tsuji, she has been becoming more adult recently, (this is the reason I guess) and while this is still abrupt news there has been at least some kind of change/transition.

I definitely agree with you. I know nothing about her personal life so the only thing I wish for her is luck.
And, through my limited point of view, I see that this situation was not managed as an scandal and both UFA and TNX have not said words about her getting fired or retiring definitely. There's a possibility of a permanent hiatus (like shuffle groups!) but that is decision between her and the agency.

She's not pissed about the money, she's pissed because postponing an event for which HER fans alreday paid, and HER fans were waiting for, is in her eyes a disrespect to those fans.

Well, coming to think of it, from a business point of view (personally I wish Nono all the best in the world), I understand UFA, and if it were my company, with 40+ other girls to watch over, I would do the same, set an example, so hopefully the rest of the girls will at least be more careful. Whatever you may think of UFA, if there are rules on the contract, and one of the parties breaks those rules, then the penalties on the contract must be enforced.
And the consequences are not only for Nono, but for the rest as well. From now on the girls will have a tighter control over their time. So in fact, Nono and Aibon screwed them all, causing their limited freedom of movement to be limited even more.

Lets say you have a company, and you hire someone, and on the contract you put some rules, and the contract says that if you break those rules, you're out. What would you do if that person that has a contract with you breaks the rules laid out in that contract? Remember, you're investing money and time in this person, and there are others that you must convince to follow the rules as well. So what would you do?

See that's the thing. In H!P you get 'em young when they're too naive to understand what they're getting into and you slowly feed them on attention and media whoring. All I have to say about the situation is that no matter how harsh the rules may be, if the girls knew about everything before joining up, then it's their responsibility to accept what's dealt to them. Idols have strict guidelines to abide by.. it's apart of the culture.
And to be honest, I don't get the impression Nono even cares one way or the other... if she did, this most likely wouldn't have gone down the way it did.

Well, I really hope that Tsunku gets TNX to be very big (remember the company is only 7 months old, it was officially formed in October 2006), so he can get all of H!P out of UFA's wing, even though Up Front Group would still have some say on things (probably only on the distribution part, TNX Inc. is listed as one of UFG's "associated companies", but at least the image management and promotion would be TNX's responsibility)

But in Japan, some of them are fairly known.
But you're right, H!P is the biggest moneymaker UFA has right now. But there's also something UFA has no control of: all contracts have an expiration date, and the H!P head (Tsunku) can decide if the contract will be renewed or not. Unless there is some sort of "automatic renewal" clause (which, by the way, at least in my country is illegal. Contracts must be discussed and renewed non-automatically every time they expire)

You can, but you probably shouldn't. If you return to that restaurant you'd be surprised with how well the serving staff will remember you since you probably would have pissed off the chef. If you're condoning her behavior, it may show you're not responsible as well and could always have trouble at work, cause you do what "you feel at the moment" forgetting about your duties. So maybe the rules are to strict, and are likely to be broken, but it's still a rule, so if you break it, you must pay the consecuences. That's being an adult, some of you will learn it someday...
Anyway, at least she didn't behave as bad as kago did (who is much more immature), as reported it was a mutual decision, she's taking the responsability of raising the child, getting married (that's a choice, not a need) and leaving her job.
I hope she can happily raise her child and be happy.
And I hope that not one of the girls follows her footsteps. They were already two recent bad examples for the H!P members and for the general public as well, they are idols, so they are a public role model, you're showing an image, and that's your work. If you fail to do that, then you're not doing your job right, if you don't want to keep doing it, then just quit your job in a proper manner.

To be perfectly honest. this event ahsn't been dealt in the same way Kago's incident was. UFA seem to be okay with it up to now and I don't think Tsuji acting "irresponsibly" really comes into things, after all if Tsuji does leave H!P now it seems like it would be by mutual consent or through her choice rather than a firing. It's just the choice she's made, from what we know she hasn't acted childish or anything, she's simply living her life the way she wants to. God that last bit sounded cheesey.

Like, since they're getting married and starting a family, if UFA started throwing a tantrum about it and threw Nono's ass on the street like they probably want to do, there would be a public outcry because she is getting married and starting a family and there is nothing wrong with that.

The way that UFW found out what was going on in the three cases might be the key to why they handled them differently. In both Aibon's misadventures, the matter hit the tabloid press without any warning to UFW. Mari's situation was about to be revealed in a tabloid type magazine and she rushed to resign before that issue was published.
But Nono and her fiance said in their press conference that they told their agencies of the the planned marriage in early April. They probably felt that Nono treated them with respect by giving them the news privately well before any rumors hit the press.
By the way, UFW knew about the marriage when they announced Gyaruru; so apparently they had no problem with having a married woman in a group; at least a TNX group instead of a H!P group.

I think she'll be back. She said that after she gives birth, she'll come back and be the first Mama-dol on HaroMoni@. Also, Gyaruru is on Hiatus, which I think means that once she's got enough time to come back, that she'll continue with them again aswell.
Lastly, I hope they release the single. With all of this Tsuji news, maybe the sales might go up due to all the coverage, young mothers might feel inspired and buy it or something hahaha.

What do you mean they can date as long as they are not in MM? Didn't that one girl from C-ute quit similar to the way Yaguchi did after they got photos of her with some guy? I doubt it'd be ok if they found out Matsuura or Abe were dating. It sounds to me like you're just trying to justify UFA's inconsistencies.

I'm just thinking that since MM is the flagship group, that dating for them isn't allowed. Which is why Yaguchi had wanted to quit. Other girls not in MM are allowed to date though, as papers have said. This is also proven by the fact that UF gave Tsuji the go-ahead when it came to her relationship and marriage.

lol Matsuura has been caught dating/having a boyfriend and Nacchi was caught playing "playstation" at some guys apartment. There was also photos of Miki partying with a bunch of people floating around, but it was never confirmed they were actually Miki.
As you said the girl from C-ute, quit. Also Yaguchi didn't quit H!P, rumor has it that she wanted to but was convinced by management to stay in H!P
The girls aren't "allowed" to date, but they do it anyways... It's sorta like the relationship between a father and daughter.

Sorry, I should have mentioned also the kids groups, but I thought that being all under 17, and after the Murakami Megumi (the girl from C-ute) thing, it was understood that they aren't allowed to date also.

IMO, maybe it's related to age as well. mainly Megumi, she still a very young teenager, and u know how with younger idols, they want to present them as young, sweet and innocent, and i guess being in a relationship would ruin this image. and when ur in a group, what u do would much affect the group activities as well as the other members. When ur a little older and a soloist, i guess they're a little more tolerant on that. cuz what u do would mainly affect u, not the group like when ur in MM, BK, or C-ute. with Mari, she was smart enough to resign before the major scandal was exposed so it didn't majorly affect MM as much as it could've been, i don't think. Tsuji already graduated from MM and W disbanded before the news got out. although since she was still young (19, almost 20), which is the same age with the MM members, so maybe that's why the girls got a talking too. with Aibon, well, not only did she broke the rule, she broke the law, twice, so terminating her contract seems like the best thing to do (still will miss her though). if they do wanna date, the girls gotta reach a certain age (maybe 18-20) and possibly a soloist or isn't part of any big groups. but this is just what i thought...

Ok, I get the whole Tsuji kept it a secret thing. But I think Tsuji actually did something right in a sorta way. She's been seeing him since the summer of last year and she's actually known the guy to fall in love with him. At least it's not a I'm pregnant and we should get married situation.

what i found funny is that in the press conference, he mention that initially, he say that yossie is his type, but got nono instead. i'm not saying that yossie is the better of the 2, it's just that i'm more of a yossie fan. and if he did lay a hand on yossie, i've would been much more disappointed, although i would've eventually get ova my jealousy and hope her the best, like any fan would. yah on that video that was subbed by Aokunai about the press conference, they mentioned Namie amuro and Tsuchiya Anne and their marriage only lasted 5 and 2 years respectively. they all married at age 20. but i hope Tsuji have better luck, then again it's her life....

She's angry because she sees as a disrespect to her own fans the fact that her casual dinner parties had to be rescheduled, thus causing some trouble to some fans that had already paid for the tickets, and now have to reschedule their agenda to be able to attend on the new dates.

I agree. It doesn't make any sense that Yossie would be angry. Nono has given her a great opportunity. Yossie has gone from having a couple of dinner shows to having two weeks worth of play/musical appearances in addition to having the dinner shows (a little later). This is a net benefit to Yossie. Also, ths supposed reason for her anger, that Nono disrespected Yossie's fans, doesn't make much sense. At the time, Nono was having unprotected sex, 9 weeks ago, she could not have known that a pregnancy might force her to drop out of the play, nor could she have known that she would be replaced by someone who already had an dinner show scheduled that would have to be rescheduled.

It's in the words. For one thing, I've never heard her using those words to refer to Nono. And I already stated the reason I think she didn't want to take this role. It's time. And once the office told her to do it, it probably wouldn't be easy to just turn them down. When someone pulled some shit like this, burdens always fell on Yossie for some reason.

A lot of female celebrities who get married and continue to work will still use their maiden names in a professional setting, if they were famous before getting married. I suppose that if Nono will continue with her career in the future like she said, she'll probably still use her maiden name as a stage name, mainly because "Tsuji Nozomi" is more recognizable than "Sugiura Nozomi".

Because they hardly were going to have a white wedding: all that happened was that Tsuji got inscribed into Sugiura's family records, according to Oricon Style (http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/entertainment/45598/).
It makes complete sense that they want to have the actual ceremony at a point of their lives where things are less hectic and there is less expectations and press coverage.

This seems to be one of those more cruel 2ch ASCII pictures, because there was some hospital in one of the prefectures that put in a 'baby drop-off' (referred to as a ポスト as well) for parents of unwanted babies to 'drop off' their babies so that the hospital could take care of them and find people who would adopt the babies. (Germany also has baby drop-offs in many hospitals.) It's been getting a lot of controversy lately, and I think that the picture is probably depicting Nono and her husband abandoning the baby at that 'baby drop-off'. Needless to say, doinkies really doesn't think that Tsuji or Takayasu would want to do that, not to mention they said that they would keep and raise the baby at the press conference they had. I suppose it's typical of the really doinky 2channelers to post something like that though.
