So Game Girls went along to the PS4 launch today...

Here's Anna picking up her's:

Also, the latest Daily Alice is about Anna playing Street Fighter II' Turbo:

She was so cute when she rubs the screen everytime something happens to her Chun Li.

Also, have they got cabs in their house? Or practice space or something?

It would be great if there was an event where you could play SF2 against Anna.

I don't normally post that many Daily Alice vids here...

but this one was about Game Girls getting their PS4s at the launch event... I'm surprised each member got one - that's gonna blow their budget...

And then today's vid was on the 3rd OZ one-man-live, which looked great!

Was really surprised to see this article pop up, and on an anime site of all places... and on Anna's birthday  :banghead:
(Well, her birthday is the 29th so...)

"Perpetrator of Death Threats Against Alice Juban Idol Arrested"
Man kept Anna Tachibana in state of fear for nine months
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2014-02-28/perpetrator-of-death-threats-against-alice-juban-idol-arrested

I don't really know what to say about that... just, WTF???

I don't normally post photos here, especially Jun cleavage shots, I don't approve of her gravure twitter....

But... for once, here's some mega boobage from the Alice Project facebook page  :shocked

^ Not sure what to make of the Game Girls songs yet. They seem okay, but nothing too special, quite enjoyable though, and glad they had some chiptune stuff in  :)

For the last few days they've been streaming at gamegirls-aliceproject on USTREAM: 私たちはUSTREAM GAMEのイメージガールです! We are the image girls of the USTREAM GAME. ゲームガールズ GameGirls バイオグラフィー Biography ゲームガールズ... during Alice Project theatre shows. I think the stream is normally from 18:00 JST.

I managed to catch it today. They actually stream from the PS4. So the PS4 camera captures their picture and you can see their gameplay. At the start it was all 6 of them standing around talking, with signs up which had their twitter names. The ustream comments box gets fed to the PS4 and you can see the comments go on there. There is some lag though with when they go up. So the girls were reading and responding to the comments. A couple of them played some pong type game and you could still see their faces in a box on the right.

After that most of the girls left and Anna played some single-player game. She was trying to read the comments too. Unfortunately, due to the lag, she always missed mine and read the first word or something and was like "ahhh, gomenasai eigo" cuz it went too fast or she was playing some fast action bit. She did read all the English comments though. She recognised someone on my tlist who just said their name and  remembered he was from Singapore. One thing is, because its a gaming stream, they get all these gamer people watching from around the world who don't know about idols at all. So it was nice they responded to all the foreign commenters, and was nice seeing just how many countries people were watching from, but then you got rude people saying "I bet she sounds good in bed" and "sucky sucky five dollar". Anna actually read that second one out, and obviously had no idea what it meant  :banghead:
I guess all gaming streams have these kindof rude people, luckily most of those kindof comments stopped when the other girls left the screen and it was just Anna playing some game.

This is backstage at PARMS so you could hear what was going on on-stage. Think I heard some OZ song that's not on youtube yet and then Armor Girls performed loads of songs! Sounded great! Looking forward to going back.

Armor Girls do the final Pa-Ken! song they hadn't done yet: "ミツろぅのテーマ" "Mitsuro no Theme",  it was "Haniton no Theme" by Pa-Ken!

Very much living up to their "Irish idols" tag in that song.

^The more I hear from Game Girls, the more I like. I was kinda laughing over their name when I first heard about them, but their songs seem to be pretty good. Nothing too amazing, but enjoyable, standard idol stuff.

Armor Girls debuted a new song today in the evening show: "Clap!"

Sounds so different than it did live

It just keeps speeding up and up (and the crowd do chants all through so we had to keep speeding up too, and clapping (no, the crowd don't do the "wo-oh-oh-ohs you hear in the recording))

I arrived in Japan yesterday and managed to catch three Alice shows so far (and bought DVDs of all three), as well as a couple other idol shows.

I might do a proper write-up later, for now I'll just say Armor Girls have surpassed Alice Juban as my favourite idol group - they are just so much fun live (also cuz my oshi is there) - and Pa-Ken! only used to do 1 or 2 songs a show, but Armor Girls do half hour+ sets now, which is really great!

Thanks.
Indeed she's cute.

The video is interesting.
I always wondered if there was a lot of staff on a gravure shooting but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Back from my trip, and I have a lot to say about Alice Project, particularly about Jun, but I'll save that for another post.

A lot has been happening with member changes so I wanted to kinda list them here.

First I'll just summarise in numbers my Alice trip:

16 PARMS shows (9 days of shows, out of 17 of my trip)
1 Armor Girls show at Shibuya O-West
2 Akiba Drug & Cafe shows
12 wide chekis and 15 normal chekis
15 signed drink coasters and 1 signed A4 sheet
1 CD and 1 commerative  photo
4 live DVD-Rs...

Member news:

The biggest news is that Fujisaki Asami is going to graduate on 1st June. This is pretty sad, she's such a key member of Alice Juban. She will be really missed, and I guess Nanaka will do the rapping on her own now.

Secondly, Sakura Yuki moved from Steam Girls to Alice Juban last weekend. She seems to fit in well with Alice Juban but there is a gap in Steam Girls now, particularly during Destiny where she used to go through the crowd on that high chair.

A few members have been missing during my trip, seems like Suzumura Airi has indeed graduated from OZ, who are down to three members now. (Armor Girls are down to 5). Kameda Reona and Tsukimiya Karen both have NOT graduated from Steam Girls, but seems they both haven't appeared for months...

I saw a couple of members make their stage debut for Slime Girls, including Matsugami Yuko who is really cute, and used to be in a different idol group...

A few promotions were just announced yesterday:

Hoshino Rinka and Sakamoto Mana are being promoted from Slime Girls to OZ, which will help bulk out the numbers there.

And there will be a 2nd generation of Pa-Ken!. This will feature Aizawa Mina, Tsukino Moa, Okamoto Yuka, and Hitome Momose, all from Slime Girls.

The New OZ, Pa-Ken! and Slime Girls will debut at PARMS on 3rd May, when the three masked groups are off at their one-man-live at Zepp Tokyo.
