^ There was one instance of somewhat of a flashback during the fighting montage, I could've swore I heard Mick say " Run over him! ", or something like that...

There wasn't any mention of Apollo, which totally sucks, I love that character- but there was a mural of him on the wall at Rocky's restaurant...

As for the brain damage, I just figured he somehow magically healed over the last degrading years for him- I cut him some slack, he's rocky for gods sake! Hehe...

ahahaha, did Family Guy also spoof another Rocky moment ... you know one where Cleveland's wife cheats on him with Quagmire - then they have this  "Let's battle in the ring one last time" at the end and it turns into a oil painting?

Everyone watched  Rocky Balboa?? SPOILER WARNING THO!

MY thoughts of the movie....really more emotional. It hit me on a personal tip:

- When Rocky was going on about the places where he took Adrian. I saw a bit of Paulie's guilt in me. I lost people close to me and wish I treated them better ---and hey. my mom used to work at Adrian's except it's a bakery lol.
- The father-son relationship, where he goes "Ya take the hits but you keep on moving forward!" Inspiring!

I also love how he brought back minor characters from Rocky I. Like  Spider Rico and Lil Marie. ... it was kinda retarded bringing in the female relationship, but hey Rocky needs some lovin. Tru dat to Rocky's reply when Marie asked him "Why u being so nice to me?"

Antonio Tarver was pretty good for a jock actor. I too missed Apollo Creed. AND I left early too .... I missed Rock one last time! I'm a sentimental bastard, so thumbsup for giving us one last hurrah with the same Rocky formula.

Yeah, like how foxy said, gonna fly now is used- but it's a new version, there's a prominant trumphet wailing in the background...

Redemption is used, actually, most of the tracks from previous movies were used... There actually is a new version of 'going the distance' too (during the last part of the fight when he tells himself to get up)

Love the rocky series.  My favorite collection to date.  I hear there is going to be another rambo movie without stallone.  Thats messed up.
