You can also tell those very early episodes by the fact that there isn't a uniform.

Not sure when the uniform came in…Ep.5, maybe?

Maybe in between episodes 3-5 where they imposed.the standard uniforms.

Checked Youtube. The uniforms were first worn in Ep.7.

That's the episode in which KONAN and Sayama Ai made their first appearance.
