I can't help but think this timing means something on UFA's part, for example:

"Hey, let's aim for all the wotas too pathetic to know any girls for Valentine's Day! They'll be all depressed from not getting any chocolates from girls and will have no one to spend money on except Swimsuited Wonky! PERFECT!"

Commentary by Risa was on Konkon's Alo-Hello, maybe they think it's a better idea to have girls who can discuss with each other than having just one girl stumble around for things to say. Risa+Eri has been a pretty dynamic combo too, wouldn't you say?

Regarding Reina instead of Eri, maybe Eri used up her Hawaii trip for the year for the 17sai photobook. Even though that wasn't Alo-Hello, it was still in Hawaii, right?

Yes, MM is releasing a PB on 2/14, but I'm not sure if it is confirm yet. So if it is true, then there will be 2 PB (or 1 PB + 1 DVD only) out on 2/14!
EDIT - Sorry my mistake, I just checked my old posts and I actually mean MM single, not PB!

This sounds like fun still, but I start to wonder when do these girls get time to go to Hawaii? O:

sorry, I just rechecked my post and it's actually a single instead of PB (typed too fast without checking)

I bet the schedule is already planned, as going to Hawaii and film a DVD (or PB) takes them probably 3 days to get it done. Remember as an idol their schedules are very tight and pre-arranged. Therefore Reina's schedule would probably be arranged to have 3 days off for the PB then come back to do the single.

yea, Idol schedules are very tight indeed, I don't think the Alo-Hello thing will take too much time away from the new singles recording, they probably won't even be that close to each other in the schedule.
