Subtle as it is – Chapter 02 [07/04/12 – Update]
What you see is not always real… when the hardest thing is to tell apart dreams from reality.

“I wanted to do my beauty sleep.” Someone with long pristine white hair said as it played with the tips of its fluffy tresses. “This has been quite often lately.”

“Mmhyeah, it’s as if they suddenly had willpower to like, simultaneously rob banks everyday or something.” The other with long jet black hair said. Its golden eyes looking straight at the road, it was sitting at front passenger seat, beside another with flame colored hair and blue eyes.

“Well, let’s just be glad they’re still asking for our help,” The driver answered with a sigh. It made the car swerve to one corner where a bank with sealed front was presented upon them. It was deserted even the police aren’t there.

It was part of their contract that if they were to do the job, no one see must them, not one of them. However apparently, among the leader of their pack and a medium, a representative of the leader of humans have been trying to talk it out if it was possible for the humans to cooperate with them.

Though the leader had firmly answered, “It would affect their normal human lives.” The human leader representative was brought into distraught.

“The deities who have been helping us are humans?” The humans asked.

Way over at the other side, the leader smirked, its companions sending over funny glances, and left the communication.

In another direction a female was being chased by a couple of men armed with guns. One of them groaned, the rest just shrugged.

“Not again.” The one with golden eyes shrugged, its companions just sending it a lazy go.

“Just don’t make a mess.” The one with white hair shrugged and gave her another lazy go.

It kicked off the ground as pristine white wings appeared from its back again and in a split second’s notice, it was already standing in between the chased female and her chasers.

Its wings still out and abound, long jet black hair scattered in the air as if it was slow motion. The familiar set of men recognized the ball of shadow and immediately broke into a run to the other direction.

It shrugged and turned around to leave.

“Wait!” The female called, it stopped on its tracks, silent. “Wh- Who are you?”

It hesitated for a moment, but then left to disappear again.

“Takahashi!” The voice of a male teacher called to the attention of the school’s student council president who had dropped her pen on the floor. “Are you listening?”

“Yes sir! I’m sorry.” Takahashi Ai apologized as her pen was handed to her by the person sitting in front of her. “Thanks.”

“Are you alright, Ai-chan?” Vice President Niigaki Risa asked as Ai took the pen from her. The female just nodded and smiled. Risa sighed.

“Yuuchan, are you sure you don’t want to make a contact with the human world?” Short with blonde hair, it talked to the one sitting behind a table legs up atop it with a smug look.

“I’m thinking of the young ones.” Yuuchan answered. “I mean, I’m sure we’ll all be fine, you, Kei-chan, Rika, W and everyone else since we’re all living here in heaven because we don’t have human duties to do. But the youngsters have some things to attend to as humans. We don’t know how the people would react if they were to react. ‘Ah they’re just humans too but with supernatural power’ or something.”

“Well, that’s true.” Another voice added in. The female with short brown hair appeared her arms crossed in front of her. “Well, I do have a candidate for the job if you guys want to test it out. Tsuji-chan’s been really bored lately.”

“Hmm…” Yuuchan put a finger on its chin and smiled. “Call.”

In an empty high way a truck was speeding up the counter flow swerving left and right. From the opposite side was a white sports car running at over 190mph it has four passengers, five including the driver and a non-working breaks. Two vehicles are destined to crash and injure seven people that may lead to six deaths.

The truck skidded, tires boring into the gray cement of the high as it tried to swerve in a drift, the sleepy driver who seemed to be driving since yesterday’s 9am trying to avoid the clash. However the sports car was chasing after it as if it has magnet on it.

In a second fracture before hitting each other, a fast shadow of light exploded right in between the two cars before they crashed. Hands stretched on both sides, stopping both from moving forward as the car wheels immediately break.

Amidst was a female with brown hair, and straight fringes, she wore casual clothing of what seemed to be black pants, white boots, a white top with a white jacket, and a stream of slightly imaginary wings made up of translucent light rose up in the air before disappearing like shards merging into the light.

She had large shades on her face that hid most of her features. Seven people, two from the truck and five from the car went down their respective vehicles, clutching their chests as if trying to comprehend what had happened.

 They looked at the figure in front of them; she seemed human, save for what just happened that they cannot understand.

“Hey there, mortals.” The female greeted, propping her shades up to her head. “Name’s Nono. Nice to see you.” 

In a few minutes, the police officers and media alike had arrived in the scene of the accident, as well as the medium who was believed to talk to the Gods.

“Who are you?” The Medium asked as he warily walked near Nono. “Why are you here? What are you?”

“I thought I already said my name is Nono.” The female greeted with a salute on the camera in front of her and the many microphones almost shoved to her face. “I’m here to save those people from that accident,” She pointed behind her with a thumb. “And I’m a goddess.”

The humans started whispering to each other as she spoke and waved at them. “Are you really?” Someone from the crowd of people not involved in the accident asked. “You must be a fraud!”

“Why don’t you ask these people I saved what I did then?” Nono stepped down from a pedestal of sorts and the newspaper writers started crowding towards the people as they attempted to answer everyone’s question.

“Are you sure this is gonna work, Rika-chan?”  Nono asked telepathically as she stretched her arms and legs as she stood at the side of the highway. “They don’t seem to entertain the idea well. Been long since I’ve been here in this form too.”

“Oh god why.” Niigaki Risa muttered under her breathe as she looked at the running field, a hand over her face. “Yes?” She turned to look at her side upon seeing a kouhai, Ikuta Erina look at her.

“Are you alright, Niigaki-san?” The female asked and tilted her head to one side.

“Ah, yes, yes. Sorry about that.” Risa sighed. “Please tell Takahashi-san that I need to leave early, that I’m really sorry I have to go now.” She explained as she picked up her bags.

“I heard that, Gaki-san.” The voice came from behind Risa, who immediately clasped her hands in front of her and bowed. “It’s okay. Please take care” Ai smiled at her as she wiped her sweat away with a towel.

Risa immediately blushed and gave her a smile back, then left. She immediately sprinted into a run inside the school building and then quickly opened the door to the Literary Club.

“Say—oh my god.” The moment she opened the door, a frightening sight immediately clouded her vision as she covered her eyes with her free hand and closed the door. “FIX YOURSELVES, GET A ROOM! KAME HOW COULD YOU!”

“I’m sorry, Gaki-san! I wasn’t—“ Eri immediately cut herself off as she cried out in a muffled way in an attempt to cover her mouth. “Sayu!!”

“Thanks for the meal.” Sayu said loud enough for the beat red Niigaki Risa outside the door to hear. “Do you want me to clean up for—“

“JUST CLEAN UP, WASH YOUR HANDS, AND WIPE THAT… THAT TABLE AND OPEN THE FREAKING DOOR!” Gaki shouted at the door and banged her closed fist on it. “GOODNESS!”

“I wasn’t just gonna leave Eri unsatisfied you know.” Sayu explained by the door and opened it. “Wiped clean. Except Eri’s—“

“I don’t want to hear i—“

“—clothes, sadly.”  Sayu crossed her arms and smirked. “So what is it?”

“We need to go—“

“—Eri already went—“

“—Sayusuke please quit your dirty jokes—“

“—Let’s go—“

“—You already went—“

“THEY’RE CALLING FOR US, LET’S JUST GO OKAY?” Gaki explained in a panic as she dropped her track stuff in the room. She immediately took Sayu and Eri by their collar and half-dragged them out the room. “Seriously… having sex on the table… I should’ve known better…”

“Learn how to knock, Gaki-san.” Sayu mumbled.

“Learn how to have decency, Sayusuke.” Gaki retorted back as they walked out.

“Ah, please, please don’t argue.” Eri half panicked.

“Why do you always think I always initiate it?” Sayu grumbled.

Risa immediately turned to look at Eri sharply who just looked at her hands and scuttled closer to Sayu.

“See?” Sayu smirked at Risa. “You know you should just confess to—“

“No.”

“—in her pants, that sexy ass and just—“

“No.”

“—you know, get laid.”

“I don’t need to, and you two needs decency, learn how to know what time, place and day okay?” Risa rubbed her temples. “Ah, Junjun there you are.”

“Yo, what happened?” The tall black haired female greeted them with a smile. “SayuEri strikes back?”

“Strikes every time, you mean.” Risa answered and sighed.

They had met up in an isolated park, after school.

“They requested for damages to be minimal. Remember, it seems that the enemies have developed bullets made of silver that can actually gradually damage you and your functions. Take care.” Ishikawa Rika’s voice echoed into the minds of three people.

“They actually have time to do that?” A different voice from an entity that could not be seen talked.

“Apparently. Just to rob a bank.” The one with golden eyes answered and cocked a glock-9 handgun and placed it on the holder on its right thigh.

“Well, it’s not just a bank. It’s a bank that produces gold, I guess I can kind of understand that.” Blue eyes scanned the surroundings.

“Well, let’s just get this over with, there are stuff I need to be busy about.” The white hair flipped with the air as it winked towards a direction.

“Ah… y- yeah…” The voice from an unknown entity stuttered.

An explosion suddenly emerged from behind trees as employees from the bank in front of them started rushing out not even paying attention to where they were standing and who they were.

“What Tsuji-chan did actually helped, now we can just stand here and be cool and no one cares.” The blue eyed one with red haired mentioned as the four of them slowly walked towards the location.

“The best wish I have is that no civilians would pass by as we execute this mission.” The golden eyed answered with a sigh.

“Seriously, you worry too much.” The white haired answered as they stood in front of the bank and police cars started flooding in.

A female with shoulder length blonde hair disembarked from the car and slowly walked towards them. “I’m Senior Inspector Yoshizawa Hitomi from First Investigations Division. You must be them.” She asked as she offered a hand to shake the three present beings.

“Yup. Nice to meet you.” The golden eyed one shook her hand. “Just so you know, we have a fourth companion, but you’re not allowed to see her.”

“Understood.” Yoshizawa answered and saluted before instructing her officers to scatter about the buildings. “What should we do?”

“Do you have the floor plan of the whole building?” A fourth voice spoke from the three person group and the SI nodded and handed a piece of paper to the direction the voice came from. “Thank you.”

After a few seconds of an invisible hand flipping over the floor map, it was then handed towards the one with white hair.

“I’ll go through the second floor vent and investigate there.” The fourth person spoke and seemingly left. “I’ll inform you of how many casualties are done, hopefully none, and hostages are left inside.”

“Un. Take care.” The white haired answered and flipped her tresses. “Let’s wait for an update, before heading in or making contact inside. I assume they already know the police are here.”

Everyone else nodded as they waited. Yoshizawa suddenly turned to them. “Do…”

“Yes?” The black haired one with gold eyes answered.

“Do you know someone named Ishikawa Rika?” Everyone’s eyes widened but nonetheless stayed silent. “Guess not huh?”

It was a rule that no one should know about your real name, your whole real name… as a God unless the other party was/is/will be your future spouse.

“I’ll explain later.” Rika’s voice suddenly echoed into the four’s minds telepathically. “You guys as well need to know about it I suppose.”

“There are twelve armed robbers, ten bank tellers and five civilians. Someone’s favorite is right here… arguing with one of the armed men, probably their leader. There are five casualties… all treatable and one grave. If we don’t make a move now, they will die.”

“You didn’t have to shoot anybody!” Takahashi Ai argued, her hands tied behind her as she stood beside a woman with her left shoulder shot and a pool of blood beneath her. “We were all going obey you if we wanted our lives. You don’t have to shoot anybody.”

“Then you do want me to shoot you instead, bitch!?” The man who seemed to be in his late forties shouted at Ai’s face. He had short messy black hair and facial hair that looks like it hasn’t been shaved for three months. “Stop being all so high and mighty when you can’t do anything towards me!”

“Calm down, bro.” Another guy who was moving money from the vault into a bag spoke. “We don’t need to do anymore casualties than that one you accidentally shot and the others who have tried to fight against us.”

“You know this chick’s kinda pretty.” The ‘leader’ spoke as he took a step forward. “Could make use of this one, as long as she keeps her mouth shut.” He slings his gun behind him and makes a few steps forward. He reached his hand forward and grabbed the female’s shoulder which she immediately shrugged away. “Oooohhh.” He sarcastically spat out at her aggressiveness. “You’ll definitely writhe once I get to take you down on that damn floor.”

She just looked at him sternly, gritting her teeth.

“Hey, hey, we have no time for any of those.” Another guy who emerged from a different vault with a few other men behind him as they drag sacks of what seem to be gold. “Stop that bro.”

“Just take her with us.” Another man shouted from behind him, dragging another sack.

“Yeah! Bro you’re a genius!”

“No one’s going to take anyone and none of you will be going out of here unscathed.” Another voice chipped in, it was a female’s voice, high pitched but not too high.

“Have our mortal enemies arrived?” The leader spoke as he put an arm over Ai’s shoulder again and held her in place. “I mean immortal enemies?”

“That’s right, my dear friend. So stop touching her.” A low growl-like voice emerged from behind Ai as a burst of white feathers scattered around making the leader fly from in front of the female towards the bank counter, hitting his hip on the edge. The black haired female with golden eyes only looked at Ai and walked away to position in front of her. “Go away. Escape. Tell the others the front door is open and it’s safe to run away. Hurry.”

“O- Okay!” Ai agreed as she led the rest of the people who can still move. “Wh- what about her?”

“Leave her to us. She’ll be fine. Trust me.” She answered as a bullet grazed on her left cheek injuring her smooth face. It started bleeding instead of regenerating. “So it was true. This is going to be troublesome.”  Another pair of wings flew in front of the golden eyed female, and took the injured female to safety.

“We can’t use her powers to heal.” The white haired female rushed in as the front shutter was raised up and shots were exchanged between the robbers and the police officers. “They’ll know that we have healing ability and the media and the government might start taking advantage.”

“Just apply enough healing to stop her from dying.” The blue eyed female told the fourth existence who nodded and immediately performed her abilities. “I’ll take her to the ambulance.”

Soon enough the people inside were rescued and the robbers were apprehended, money and gold were returned. However it did not end without any casualties even for our deities.

“Ah geez, that hurt.” The golden eyed female muttered as she wiped away her left cheek that continued bleeding. “It stings.”

“Sorry, can’t do anything about that.” The fourth existence spoke. “You’ll regenerate anyway.”

“Yeah, I know.” The golden eyed turned around only to find a curious pair of brown orbs looking at her. “Why are you still here?” She frowned as she gritted her teeth.

“I… want to know…” Takahashi Ai spoke. “Who you are… What I am to you… and why you keep on appearing…?”

The golden eyed female just looked at her, with a glare. She closed her hands into a fist and tight enough to make her hands bleed, as she held Ai’s neck with her free and bloodless hand and immediately captured her lips into a fierce kiss.

It was wild. Accidentally one of her fangs sunk into Ai’s lower lip making it bleed, sending the other female moaning as blood dripped into the golden eyed females mouth. She immediately pushed Ai away, and turned around.

“…Take care of yourself.” She muttered before disappearing into thin air.

The rest looked at each other, bid Ai goodbye and left as well.

“I thought you wouldn’t do that again.” The white haired female asked. “I thought you wou—“

“It was an accident.” The golden eyed female gritted her teeth as her eyes blinked from gold to red, fangs showing. “It was an accident…”

“Gaki-san…” The three people said as they watched her stop herself from slightly transforming into a different entity.

Ai sat up from her bed, completely sweating as the birds chirped outside her window. She moved a finger over her lower lip and saw blood.

“It… it was real…”

I'm a bit confused too but it doesn't matter because the story is so interesting  :lol:
Gaki's reaction queen moment, when she found Sayu and Eri, was priceless! XD I laughed a lot!

Hopefully we will get more soon!  :)

Subtle as it is – Chapter 03 [07/14/12 – Update]
What you see is not always real… when the hardest thing is to tell apart dreams from reality.

“Gaki-san, are you alright?” The invisible entity suddenly turned visible into the form of Kamei Eri as she clung to the white haired female. “I can heal the wound but the desire won’t—“

“I’ll be fine.” The long black haired female with golden eyes answered while she held a hand onto her temples, her eyes changing colors from gold, red to her normal chocolate brown. “It’s just a bit… confusing right now. I’ll be fine.”

“Are you sure? It’s been 20 years since your last… suddenly getting exposed to it is a bit…” Michishige Sayumi asked her pristine white hair slowly getting discolored to black to return to her normal appearance.

“To her blood too.” The flame haired female with blue eyes chipped in as she crossed her arms in front of her leaning onto the wall inside the white house they had teleported in. Her hair evaporating into black and eyes turning the same color into the form of Junjun. “Do you need any—“

“I don’t need any blood donations.” Risa answered as she held a hand in front of her, her other still on her temple. “I’m not gonna bite Eri either.”

“Is what she said, babe.” Sayu turned to look at the quivering turtle clinging to her who started shaking her arm forward and backward.

“But, but we have to help her, Sayuuuu.” Eri cooed to her girlfriend with her high pitched voice.

“No, seriously. Ugh. Eri, I’m fine. It’s just taking time to subside.” Risa answered as she controlled her transformation, her hair returning to its normal brown but her eyes refuses to vanish color to normality.

“Why did you even think of kissing her anyway?” Sayu crossed her arms as she questioned the struggling female against her, other other form. “I thought you didn’t want to?”

“Sh- She… It was an accident okay?” Risa explained after finally returning herself to normal and glared at Sayu.

“Oh, sure sure. Grabbing her neck like that and suddenly kissing her oh so passionately with tongue is like the best accident ever. Eri, I want more accidents with you, like right now.” Sayu explained sarcastically. She turned to her beloved turtle who suddenly clasped both hands on her mouth.

“You guys do a lot of that already.” Junjun pitched in with a snap of her fingers. “Anyway, you two stop arguing. Niigaki-san, if you can’t control your desires, just tell her. You know she has a right to know.”

“You’re not one to talk about ‘telling,’ Junjun.” Risa spat back with a sigh. “There’s Tanakacchi.”

“As long as I don’t go after Tanaka-san, no one will know she was ever involved or she knew anything.” Junjun explained as she turned to leave the white room. “I’ll tell her… if her temporary amnesia heals completely.”

“Wait, don’t leave yet, I thought we had a meeting with Ishikawa-san?” Eri said whilst the door opening the moment she mentioned ‘Ishikawa.’ A hand popped out of the door and motioned for them to go there, the four obliged.

“Gaki-san, what happened to your cheek?” Takahashi Ai reached for the younger girl’s cheeks who softly took her hand and put it back to her side. “Are you alright?”

“Un.” Risa answered with a bright smile. “Sayu’s cat last night just decided to be a bit violent so I got this scratch. It’ll be fine, it’ll heal soon.”

The two stood in the hallway waiting for the turtle/bunny combo to arrive so the four of them can take lunch together at the rooftop.

The two chatted amicably until a certain mischievous bunny decided to play a prank. Waiting for the correct moment, Sayumi immediately lunged herself to kiss the innocent Council President on the lips.

Ai’s eyes widened like a deer caught in head lights and stepped backward a hand covering her mouth.

“Ara, Takahashi-san, why do you have a wound on your lower lip?” Sayu asked casually, Risa threw her a glare, Eri pulled her arm.

“Oh, I don’t know.” Ai answered after recovering from the surprise kiss that seemed to remind her of something. “I… I must’ve bit them in my sleep.”

“Oh really?” Sayu asked after glancing at Risa who started gritting her teeth while looking at her. “Is something the matter, Niigaki-san?”

“Nothing. Let’s eat.” She turned around and walked ahead.

“Her mood suddenly turned around…” Ai mentioned, following the Vice President as she walked to the rooftop.

“Must be that time of the month.” Sayu rolled her eyes and shrugged.

“Why would you do that…” Eri murmured to her lover who just winked at her with a smile.

“Gaki should know that she should just tell cause it’s easier that way.” Sayu replied to Eri telepathically as they walked.

“But you know Gaki-san just doesn’t want her to get involved in things to come.” Eri answered.

“That brat needs to get laid, please.” Sayu answered with a grin and Eri just pulled on her arm again.

“I heard that. Shut up.” Risa pitched as she clenched her fists. “I don’t need a weakness.”

“Having a lover is strength, believe me.” Sayu answered in a serious tone, when Gaki suddenly squatted down holding her head. “Gaki-san! Are you okay?”

“Yeah, yeah I’m fine.” Risa answered.

“I’ll take you to the clinic.” Ai said as she put her arm around Risa’s shoulders. When the younger was about to refuse, she tightened her hold onto the younger’s shoulders. “I insist.”

“Shit.” Risa thought, unconsciously sending it out telepathically.

“Heard that. No cursing!” Ishikawa Rika replied telepathically from somewhere as Sayu and Eri chuckled, Risa unconsciously face palmed.

In this world existed Gods and Goddesses, up in heaven, these mentioned creatures bore the appearance of humans with extraordinary powers. However, some of them had descended to heaven with immortality, whilst the younger ones remained on earth to control peace and quiet by the order of the God of Gods Tsunku♂.

The current time is a year where everything is advanced, enough to even think of weapons to ward and injure even Goddesses by the use of a special kind of Bullet. There are humans who believed that they existed, some who doesn’t believe and those who are opposed to them. These people are Atheists.

As the word means, they do not believe in Gods, however some of them had grown to hate the believers and now currently attempt to vanquish any hint of these ‘gods’ and expose the truth that they’re just excessively trained humans to protect city. That people with extraordinary powers does not exist at all.

Nakazawa Yuko lifted her legs up on the table of an all white room with white chairs, as a large statue of Tsunku♂ stands behind her with a shine of yellow light.

“You think the lil brat’s gonna tell her?” Yuko spoke as she yawned. The rest of the team, Yaguchi, W, Kei and Rika all scattered around at different places of the almost empty room.

“Think not.” Kago Ai said as she bit off a chocolate in her hand and then gave some to Tsuji. “You know how much she treasures the girl. Won’t tell her even if it’s a necessity.”

“Besides, Rika-chan gotta explain about that Inspector knowing her real name.” Tsuji Nozomi said, biting onto the chocolate offered by Aibon.

“That… I’ll explain that when everyone’s present.” Rika answered as she smiled sheepishly. “Risa-chan needs to deal with her issue first before I can explain everything.”

“On another hand, seems like the Atheists are really out to get us, aren’t they?” Yaguchi opened up the topic drinking some water from her glass.

“Well, if they even put some effort as to research that silver bullets may have do some damages towards goddesses even if they’re for Vampires only is such a feat.” Kei explained. “Doesn’t it seem like they believe us more than the Theists do?”

Yuko suddenly chuckled. “That’s true. Well… as far as what’s been happening, it seems that they’re trying to start an all out war with us. More like with the humans however.”

Everyone nodded concern all over their expressions.

“We were humans after all.” Rika sighed.

After arriving in the School Clinic, Ai assisted Risa to sit on one of the beds. Immediately, Risa put a hand over her face mostly covering her eyes.

“Ai-chan…” Risa whispered, however the female had already walked away to look for some sort of medicine. “Ai… Ai…”

Takahashi Ai looked at her with confusion in her eyes. “Did she just call me without any honorifics?”

“Can I ask you for a favor?” Niigaki Risa spoke, her voice deep almost in a growl.

“Yeah. What is it?” Ai calmly answered as she looked at the female… “Are you ok—“

“Please leave the room. Now.” Risa commanded. Her hand still covering most of her face, she wasn’t even looking at Ai.

However the threat in her voice and the growing aura immediately made the female obey the order.

“I’ll be outside.” Ai said.

“No. Go… go away.” Risa said, her free hand tightly clutching on the sheets of the bed she was sitting on. “Hurry.”

“O- Ok.” Ai answered. She didn’t know why. She suddenly felt fear against the almost always smiling and friendly vice president.

Ai slowly walked towards the door, the moment she grabbed the door knob, a hand grabbed her wrist. Instantly she turned around to face Risa. She had red eyes, and black hair for a moment, but it immediately subsided to normality.

“Uh… sorry. Please go.” Risa said covering her face with a hand again. Ai could only nod and close the door behind her.

“How… was it my imagination?” Ai thought as she walked away. Behind her were Eri and Sayu who probably knew of what happened.

The two entered the clinic and watched as Risa sat on the clinic bed, her hair jet black and straight, her eyes changing colors from red, gold, then to chocolate brown.

“You really want her don’t you?” Sayu asked as she crossed her arms and the two of them blocked the clinic door.

The school bell rang. Risa looked at the two of them, eyes piercing.

In a dark red color.

“Ow, Ow, ow.” Michishige Sayumi, white haired winced in pain as she sat on a clinic bed. Cuts were present on her left cheek and left arm, blood threatening to fall from the wounds. “Eririn~ be gentler!”

“I’m sorry, Sayu.” Eri pouted as she poured antiseptic on a piece of cotton and slowly damped them on Sayu’s wounds. “If you’d just agreed to biting me then we won’t have to be so tedious in this and yeah…” She mumbled under her breathe, damping the cotton on wounds occasionally pressing harder than usual. “Stupid Sayu.”

“Eririn….” Sayu told the female tending to her wounds and winced again in pain. “Where’s Junjun?”

“She went out to get Nakazawa-san, she should be back soon.” Eri answered exactly at the same time the door opened. “Speak of the devil.”

“More like Gods,” Nakazawa Yuko chipped in, popping in an M&M inside her mouth. “Where’s the brat?”

“She’s lying down over here.” Sayu answered, pointing at the bed beside her. “Junjun and I managed to exhaust her to normality, somehow.”

“Well, after 150 years, I guess sometimes your patience would just get thrown down the canal someday.” Yuko said, popping another M&M in her mouth. “I guess you could just say she was a bit unlucky, this time the girl’s drop dead gorgeous with the same level of stubbornness as her.”

“You can’t deny that what she did was a bit careless of her, whatsoever.” Sayu pitched in, watching Eri finally wrap up on bandaging her wounds. “Then again, time will come that she’ll have to tell her someday.”

 “Or make her forget forever.” Junjun chipped in as the atmosphere became darker. “Well, of course we’d never use that option unless we need it.”

“Urgh…” Risa moaned, her hand plastering itself onto her forehead. “My head hurts…”

“And my face hurts.” Sayu said, turning to the female beside her. “Are you in control now?”

“Yeah. I’m sorry.” Risa answered, sitting up. “I… I really don’t want to…”

“But you have to. You need it.” Yuko explained, sitting on the foot of Risa’s bed. “It might be unfair to her, but you need her. Unless you’d just have to give up yourself to your berserk, and then we’ll have to kill you.”

“I’d rather die…” Risa muttered. “This time.”

“Seems like Takahashi Ai is a different case.” Yuko repeated. “Are you that madly in love her?”

“I… I don’t know.” The female answered, looking down at her lap. “I… I just feel like I don’t want her to get involved in anything.”

“But kissing her means she’s involved already.” Junjun explained. “She’s now your weakness.”

“I know. I’m stupid.” Risa face palmed herself and sighed. “But I can’t reverse anything now. I can just protect her.”

“If you tell her it’ll be easier right? She’ll be more aware of her surroundings.” Yuko explained and popped in an M&M in her mouth and noticed that the pack she had been eating was empty. She crumpled the paper and threw it at the nearby trashcan. “Are you afraid she doesn’t feel the same way you do?

“…” Risa sighed again. “I’ll think about it. Maybe.”

Takahashi Ai sighed, her bag on one hand and her track bag hanging on her shoulder. She reminisced of how tight Gaki’s hand was around her wrist.

How familiar her eyes where when she looked at her. She knew she had seen it somewhere before, she knew she’s familiar with it.

Ai never believed in the gods or the goddesses or whatever they are. She had always relied on her own strength, training herself to protect herself from danger at all times to stop bothering her family. Her foster family.

However, this belief had been sending her mind haywire for the past days, for the past months. Unbelievably, those dreams she had been seeing. She couldn’t tell apart reality at all. It wasn’t possible.

Ai shook her head left and right, and continued walking down the street to her part-time job. “It’s not possible at all.” She muttered to herself. “Gaki-san’s probably just sick.”

“Yeah, the brat’s probably just sick.” A voice came out of nowhere, Ai turned around to look for it. “Oh geez. Over here.”

“Ah, Miki-san.” Ai said, looking at the door of the convenience store she had unknowingly went to already. It was definitely time for her part-time job and she’s still daydreaming. “How long have you been there?”

“Since the brat being sick?” Miki grinned opening the door for the younger woman. “What’s with this brat business?”

“Oh, Niigaki-san is not a brat. That’s just her nickname.” Ai smiled, the two of them walking into the lockers to allow Ai to change. “She’s just a friend. She seems to not feel well early this morning so she had stayed in the Nurse’s room the whole day.”

“Just a friend.” Miki repeated with a blank expression. “Say, Ai-chan.”

“Hm?” Ai answered, putting on a new shirt with the logo of the convenience store.

“Do you believe in Gods?” Miki asked, Ai could only look at her.

“I…”

“Don’t look at me so seriously!” Miki joked and reached for a grab at the younger girl’s behind making her yelp. “I was just asking.”

“Miki-san!” Ai shouted, protecting her behind with two hands.

A female with long orange reddish hair tied into twin tails walked out into the open air of the park the wind softly blowing onto her face. She scrunches her nose a bit, before breaking into a cute sneeze. She sniffed a little before being offered tissue which she took with a quiet “Thanksh.”

“Do you always come here?” Came the evidently Chinese accented Japanese. “You gotta be careful of the pollen around, it is almost Spring.”

“I don’t remember always coming here.” The female answered blowing into the tissue cutely. “For some reason, I just find my body coming here almost every day, it’s almost automatic.”

“I- I see.” The other person answered with a nervous smile. A gust of wind blew again, making the other person’s long black hair flutter with the wind.

“You?” Came the sweet voice.

“Hm?”

“Do you always come here?” The female asked with a grin, showing her cute cat-like fangs to the other person.

“No.” Always. The blackhaired answered. “It was my first time here today.” I come here every day.

“I see. You must be new around here then.” The orange head answered with a cheerful smile. She then offered her hand in front of the other woman. “My name’s Tanaka Reina. What’s yours?”

“J—“ The blackhaired woman swallowed a little. “Call me Junko.”

“That’s kind of a weird name.” Reina said and giggled. “But okay, I’ll call you Junko, then.”

“Junjun!” Nono’s voice echoed inside the blackhaired’s head. “Don’t pull a Gaki-san—“

“I know.” Junjun answered mentally with a serious tone.

“Juz’ sayin’”

“Sayuuuuu!” Eri called as she clung onto the younger female’s arm. “As I was saying—“

“The answer will always be no, Eri.” Sayu answered sternly not even looking at the older female.

“… I was gonna ask if I could stay over…” Eri finished her sentence, poking her fingers at each other.

“… Well I guess that’s an exception. Everything else is a no.” Sayu changed her answer, continuing to walk ahead the poor turtle trying to keep up with her frustrated attempt of stomping.

“E- Even if I ask… if you could touch me tonight?” Eri muttered under her breath, her ears turning pink at the boldness of her words.

“Ah, you know Eririn, the answer to that is always yes.” Sayu smiled, taking one of Eri’s hands from her arm to entwine them together. “But the answer to the mere idea of me, biting you, is no.”

“I know already!” Eri spatted, pouting at the younger female who usually acted older then her.

“So… tonight?”

“You were just after that, after all?!” Eri shouted, watching Sayu run away from her. “Sayuuuuuuuu!”

The black haired female stuck her tongue out and started running away from the fast turtle.

“You’re to stay with us, until you’ve decided.” Inside the white room, Niigaki Risa was seated down on a white chair with protective shackles around her wrists and ankles. “You really need to tell her… or you’ll find someone else to use, and we erase her memory of you.” Ishikawa Rika questioned, sitting on a nearby chair.

“I just…” Risa spoke, her hair turning into a different color. Her hands started shaking as if to break away from the shackles. “I just… don’t want to use her this time.”

“But your little accident.” Yaguchi Mari started. “I understand it was supposed to be a simple kiss. But you tasted some of her already. You know you can’t keep in control anymore.”

“Please let me go… I have school tomorrow.” Risa whispered under her breathe, trying to sound as calm as she could.

“In that state? No.” Nakazawa Yuko answered popping in another M&M in her mouth. “You have to choose, now.”

“I choose later, then.”

Yuko sighed. “Nono, please send an absence of leave for the brat.” Tsuji Nozomi quickly nodded and disappeared into thin air. “Your girl’s going to be worried.”

“It’s not like she has any kind of feelings for me other than friendship.” Risa answered, her voice hoarse. “It doesn’t really matter.”

“You’re sometimes too hard on yourself, Mame-chan.”

It was a bright sunny day. The wind blows frequently, the leaves of the trees and grasses sway together with the direction of the blow. At the edge of the open air park’s railings, stood a female with orange-ish reddish hair that flows with the wind.    She wore white cream colored boots with furry leggings, a white skirt with a silver chain and a white jacket.

“You let your hair down today.” A tall figure approached her, hands in pockets, black hair flowing with the wind as well.

The female turned around and smiled immediately showing her cute fangs. “Ah, Junko.” She turned back to the railings the wind gusting back at her face. “I thought it’ll be nice for a change.”

“I asked you before to do that for me, you got so mad, blushed and walked away.” Junjun muttered to herself and chucked a bit.

“Hm?” Reina looked at her again, tilting her head to one side.

“Sorry, nothing. I only recalled something funny.” Junjun answered and walked towards the railings to lean over it as well. “How was school?”

“It was well, I suppose.” Reina answered, and nodded to herself. “Although, people have been talking recently about the leave of absence of our Student Council Vice President, our President felt out of it the whole day. She’s probably worried.” Reina pouted a little. She was indeed close friends with the student council; they were the ones who helped recuperate when she lost her memories in an accident.

“I see. Was it really a large issue?” Junjun asked. “Gaki-san, your girl’s worried for you.” She transmitted telepathically.

“Che.” Came the immediate reply.

“It was. Gaki-san, our vice pres, she really absents much less takes a leave of absence. Everyone is now worried of what happened to her.” Reina leans on the rail as the wind blew again. “Like if it’s related to the recent appearances of those people who proclaim themselvess to be Goddesses or such.”

“Do you believe that they’re Goddesses?” The tall blackhaired female asked, turning around to lean her back on the rail.

“I think… they’re extraordinary people.” The shorter female answered, furrowing her eyebrows. “Then again, no one can explain why they have powers. So I guess they must be Goddesses.”

Junjun chuckled for a moment. “I see.”

“Hey! What’s funny?!”

“Ai-chan?”

The brunette stared straight as she held onto a mop she uses to clean the spill on the floor of the convenience store.

“Ai-chan?” The store owner Fujimoto Miki suddenly smirked to herself. She crept up behind the supposedly mopping female and made a grab for two luscious mounds of flesh from behind the female.

“UWAGH!” Came the expected man scream, together with the unexpected mop slash. “Ah! Miki-san!”

“Ai-chan that was veeeery dangerous!” Miki said, grateful that she ducked in time, both hands over her head in protection.

“I’m sorry!” Ai bowed immediately and resumed mopping. “I’m really just… out of it today.”

“What’s wrong? Is it the brat again?” Miki asked, dusting her outfit as she flipped the store card from open to close. “Family problems?”

“No, no. My family is fine.” Ai frowns a little. “Gaki-san, after going to the infirmary yesterday, suddenly filed an absence of leave of indefinite time and no one knows why. Then suddenly another friend of mine goes to school with a few cuts on her face. She’s the type to really take care of her appearance too so I don’t really know what happened. She says it was an accident while cooking though…”

“Face? Must be a really bad accident.” Miki takes the mop from Ai’s hand and pats the girl’s shoulder. “Go home for now. You should rest.”

“But—“

“It’s fine. Go.” Miki said and almost pushed the girl of the same age as her into the lockers to get changed and leave. “Go Go~”

Fujimoto Miki put up her hand and removed a few strands of her bangs from her face back to the top of her head. “Oh? Yes, yes. Do that. Yeah.”

“Eri?” Sayu stepped inside a dark home. She immediately started feeling for the light switch on the right side of the wall. “Ow.” Tripping on a shoe rack and successfully finding it.

Michishige Sayumi looked around the mess of a house. Shoes were scattered all around, shirts and skirts and even pants are thrown all around the living room. She immediately picked up the clothes, folded them in a semi decent way and settled them on the couch as she fixed the shoes and put them on the rack.

“Eri, if I hadn’t known you for so long, I’d think that a robber just came in here.” Sayu sighed and put away the last pair of pants and sighed. “At least I haven’t seen any underwear or I’ll be really worried… and angry.”

The black haired female climbed up the stairs, picking up socks and more shorts. “Eririn?” Sayu called again climbing more stairs and picking up more clothes.

She reached the only occupied room in that small second floor and slowly opened the door. “Eririn?” Sayu looked around for a while amongst the ‘room-like-a-dump-site’ of her beloved girlfriend, only to find a small bundle of orange move from the corner of what seemed to be a bed. “Eri?”

“Mhm? Sayu?” Eri moaned as she sat up, a pile of clothes falling down from on top of her. “What are you doing here?”

“What are you doing there?” Sayu asked back, walking towards the female, picking up more clothes on the ground. “You should seriously clean.”

“Mhm.” Eri nodded. After the clothes on top of her were removed, the female was wearing nothing but her underwear and their uniform’s blouse opened all the way.

“You know, if you seriously don’t like being attacked anywhere, you’re not doing a very good job.” Sayu raised an eyebrow, leaning forward and closing a few buttons on the turtle female’s clothes. “There, that’s more conservative.”

“Mhm, thank you.” Eri leaned into Sayu’s arms, hugging the bunny’s waist. “Still sleepy.”

“As much as I want to let you sleep, we have a job to do.” Sayu said and patted Eri’s short brunette locks, while the turtle nodded, eyes closed.

“I’m sorry for today. I’ll be heading home now.” Ai bid goodbye to Miki and left the convenience store at around seven in the evening.

It was a normal evening, light posts are open and cars seldom pass by the area. The student council president walked in a fast pace towards her home, until she turned a corner and found a female, slightly smaller than her. Long straight brown hair, with a paper on hand, and her other on her mouth, as if she was in trouble regarding something.

“Umm… may I help you?” With her inner good Samaritan mode on, Ai approached the female who only looked at her with confused eyes.

“Oh. Umm. I’m kind of lost.” The female said, with a foreign accent and scratched her head. “Umm, do you know how to get to this place?” She handed Ai the paper and frowned. “I was told it was around the area, but I am not really sure.”

“Oh. I know where it is. It’s near my house.” Ai answered with a smile. “Do you want to go with me? I’ll take you there. It’s really close.”

“Oh really?!” The girl smiled at her brightly, taking her hand into a handshake. “Thank you! Thank you!”

“It’s around ten to fifteen minutes of walk, so I guess we should get acquainted since we might actually become neighbors.” Ai smiled. “I’m Takahashi Ai, what’s your name?”

“Oh! My name is Qian Lin!” Without letting go the hand she was shaking a while ago, she shook it again. “You can call me, Linlin!”

kameshige was adorbs too with sayu being eris mini cleaning lady XD and i bet if they didnt have a job to do they'd be doing another importiant job ;D

What you see is not always real… when the hardest thing is to tell apart dreams from reality.

“Ah! It’s here!” Linlin exclaimed pointing at a house two streets before Ai’s. “Thank you very much, Takahashi-san!”

“No problem!” Ai answered and raised a thumb up at the Chinese girl. “Well, I’ll see you around?” The younger female nodded and knocked onto the door of the house.

“Linlin?” The person who answered the door asked and the female immediately jumped up and down, and entered in as she was welcomed.

Ai smiled, and continued walking towards her home. Upon arriving in front of her house she lives in with her foster family, she notices a familiar figure on the right side of the house, slowly approaching her. The figure was staggering, and weak, taking its time to take one step forward.

Ai squinted to see clearer, and then her eyes widened, her mouth hang open. “Gaki-san?”

Sayu, Junjun and Eri teleported into the White room completely in their Goddess forms and immediately raised their eyebrows when they found no one in sight.

Footsteps made them turn around to behind them, a worried faced Rika, and a completely pissed off Nakazawa Yuko-san met them.

“Anyone knows where Takahashi lives?” Yuko asked.

“I do. What happened?” Eri answered feeling her hands cold up.

“Gaki-san… escaped.” Yuko gritted her teeth scratching her head. “Also, you don’t really want to go inside the room now. Kei-chan’s a bit busy.”

“Where’s Yaguchi-san? Tsuji-san? Kago-san?” Junjun asked.

“You really don’t want to see them now.” Rika sighs, holding her left wrist with her right hand. “I’m sure they don’t want you guys to see them either.”

“Gaki-san… She…” Sayu spoke but was cut off by Yuko’s sudden command.

“Anyway, we need to go to Takahashi now. She might be in danger, or not. We need to see her.” Yuko said, the three nodded immediately.

“Gaki-san?” Ai immediately rushed over her and grabbed her by her arms. She looked at her disheveled form, her eyes were closed, her hair was messy, and her clothes weren’t torn but were unbelievably wrinkled. Her arms had bruises and she had a few scratches on her face. “Are you alright?”

“Are you alright?” Gaki asked her voice hoarse. She raised a hand to land it on Ai’s shoulder and opened her eyes to look at Ai’s worried ones.

“What are you talking? I’m the one who’s supposed to ask you that!” Ai frowned and shook the female a bit. “Are you okay? Gaki-san!”

Risa remained silent, closing her eyes again and taking a step back from Ai, making her grip lose from her arms. She leaned her back on the nearest wall, and slid down to slightly sit on the ground. “I’m glad your fine.”

“If you’re not answering me, then I’ll just deduce that you’re not okay.” Ai pursed her lips and grabbed the female by the hand and yanked her up to a standing position. “You’re coming with me inside my house.”

“I—“ The SC Vice President suddenly faltered in her movement and fell forward onto Ai’s back. “I’m… fine.”

Ai turned around to catch her in her arms. She pulled her back a little to look at her face. She put her hand on Risa’s neck and forehead. “You’re burning! You shouldn’t be out at this time of the night with a fever! Gaki-san! You’re staying with me and that’s final!”

“No, No. I can’t do that.” Risa spoke, taking a step backward again. “I can’t do that. I need to go. Go somewhere.” She could feel it. She’s losing it. She’s losing it again.

“No, Gaki-san, no.” Ai growled at her, keeping her firm grip on her wrist. “You have to stay here, with me. You’re sick. Your house is far.”

“Ai… Ai-chan.” She struggled to say her name. A jolt of pain surged from within her body targeting her head as Risa held her temples with both hands, falling to the ground in Ai’s surprise. “Go… Go away.”

“I can’t do that, Risa!” Ai shouted, kneeling to the ground. “You’re in pain. You have problem. I just… I just can’t leave you here!”

“It’s for your safety! Leave me alone!” Risa shouted as she hit the ground hard with her fist, making it crack a little. “Please… Ai-chan.”

“NO!” Ai grabbed Risa’s shoulders and shook her. “I can’t do that! I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t know what’s wrong with you. But if you need help, I’m here to help you!”

“You don’t… You don’t understand!” Risa answered, holding a hand over her eyes. She knew her eye color was changing, and she can’t let Ai see this. She can’t let Ai know. She was stupid enough to rush over to her in this state. But she knew danger was near, and that Ai needs to be saved. “Leave me alone! Ai! LEAVE ME ALONE!”

“NO!” Ai shouted even louder. “We’ve known each other for four years. You know me better than anyone else. You’ve helped me countless of times. If you need help tell me. I want to help you too…” She told the female, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

Risa made a deep sigh, and looked at her. Ai stared at her, after a few moments, her head registered something. Her eyes were gold. They engaged in a short staring contest, before Risa made a grab for her neck, and forcefully sealed their lips together.

She pressed Ai onto the nearby wall, using her right hand as a cushion for Ai’s head as she kissed her roughly. It was only until to Risa’s surprise when she kissed her back, wrapping her arms around her neck. She pulled away to look at Ai’s expression, only to find her with her eyes closed.

In a moment, her eyes shifted from gold to red, back to chocolate brown, as she collapsed sideward to the ground.

“RISA!” Ai immediately rushed to her side to check up on her. She put her hand on her forehead and noticed her fever rising. She stood up and rang the door bell to her home. “Yui! Yui! Come out! I need your help!”

“ACCHOO!” Tanaka Reina rubbed her nose after sneezing. She placed both her hands in her pockets as she walked the dark streets, with no one but her. After a few steps, she hears a pair of footsteps from behind her. She looks back but sees no one. “Must be my imagination.” She shrugged and continues walking down the path.

She starts walking again, hearing the same footsteps trying to time it with hers. She stops abruptly, the footsteps stops as well. She broke into a run as the footstep ran after her. She couldn’t bear to look back, she didn’t want to.

Reina turned a right corner into the streets, crowded with many people. Avoiding them one by one as she continued running, and started to slow down as she was submerged into a lot of people, she wasn’t sure if she made the right choice. However she knew that if someone attempted to grab her here, there were a lot of people to witness it.

She looked around and suddenly bumped into someone.

“Oh! Sorry!” She apologized and looked at the person. She was taller, and had shoulder length hair.

“Reina-chan!” The female exclaimed.

“I’m sorry, may I know who you are?” Reina asked politely.

“It’s Aika! Mitsui Aika!”

Niigaki Risa lay down on Ai’s bed, a towel on her forehead. Ai sat beside her, watching her sleep. All of a sudden her face changed color to red. “Why did I do that? Why… why did she do that?”

A knock broke her train of thoughts. Immediately she shook her head left and right and spoke, “Come in.”

“How’s Niigaki-chan?” Mrs. Takahashi asked as Ai smiled wryly saying that her fever was still high, but she’s resting well. “Well... there are a few people looking for you downstairs.”

Ai furrowed her eyebrows, but she had no choice but to check on them. “Mama, can you… watch over her for a moment?” Her mother nodded and entered the room as she exited.

She went down the stairs. she could feel her heart thumping loudly at her chest. As if something bad was going to happen, Ai opened the door and was surprised to see two familiar faces and two new ones.

“Eri, Sayu.” She greeted. “What brings you here?”

“I’m sorry, but can we see Gaki-san?” Eri asked politely, as the blonde female behind her tapped her foot impatiently, and the tall black haired female looked at her. Sayu was just silent.

“How did you know that Gaki-san is here?” Ai asked raising an eyebrow.

“It’s a really long story, but please let us see her first so… yeah.” Sayu explained briefly. Ai nodded and led them inside her home, into her room as her mom left them to their privacy.

After a few short introductions into Yuko and Junjun, the goddess troupe leader Yuko walked over to Gaki and checked on her situation.

“She seems fine right now.” Yuko spoke and sat down on a chair. “She’ll wake up soon.”

“Can I ask what’s going on?” Ai said, everyone turning to look at her. “I mean… Gaki-san took a leave of absence, and then I find her staggering to my house… I don’t know. I feel like… I should be involved.”

Eri, Junjun and Sayu looked at each other.

“Yes, you should be involved.” Yuko answered. “But our circumstances are hard to believe. Especially hers,” she pointed at Gaki resting on the bed and crossed her arms in front of her. “She needs you a lot.”

“Need…” Ai mumbled under her breath. “What kind of need… is it?”

“You got kissed, didn’t you?” Sayu asked quite directly, immediately making the female blush.

“I- I didn’t! What are you talking about…” Ai quickly denied as she looked away. Silence.

Sayu smirked. Eri looked like she was communicating with aliens. Junjun sighed, as Yuko raised an eyebrow. “Yes. I did. She kissed me.” She admitted shyly and played with her fingers.

“Did you kiss her back?” Yuko asked. Ai immediately jerked her shoulders and gave her a deer caught in headlights expression. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Ai immediately colored red and sighed.

“You see, there are a lot of rumors regarding Goddesses and all those sorts.” Yuko started explaining, raising an eyebrow. “But this brat is a special case.” Ai looked at her confused. “These two as well,” Yuko answered pointing at Sayu and Junjun.

“A lot of people don’t believe, but Goddesses do exist. However, a simple explanation to it would be… we’re immortal. But we’re humans too.” Yuko spoke in a matter of fact way. “Sayu is a half-succubus half-goddess. I bet you could understand that if you let her walk alone, men would just flock around her like she’s a magnet.”

“Yes. That did happen before.” Ai nodded, her mouth open.

“While Junjun is also a half-goddess half-succubus, but she has more experience in controlling her succubus-like hormones so she can control it well.” Yuko explained again. “While Eri is a full blooded goddess,” Ai looks over at Eri who just smiles at her and nods.

“And Gaki-san…?”

“Oh. She’s human alright.” Yuko answered and sighed. “But right now, she’s a Vampire, granted Goddess abilities.”

“Eh?”

“What I’m trying to tell you is…” Yuko answered. “She desperately needs your blood.”

1. why gaki from a human turn to a vampire and have goddess power?
2. who is the culprit to have turn her into a vampire?
3. why kiss will make her so turned on?
4. since gaki is the vampire, she should be the one to have erased the memory, why ended up is aichan?
5. will aichan be also just another immortal that yet to discover?

Hello yellow. The rest of the questions will have to wait, because they're part of the storyline, but I will answer no. 4 for you.

4.) Because Gaki is the Vampire and everyone else needs her, Ai-chan will be in danger if she gets into contact with any of them. But if she forgets everything (like Reina) she'll be safe.

“Eh? Wait. What, what do you mean?” Ai furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the people behind her, while she sits right beside Risa. “Do you mean…”

“In legends, Vampires takes blood from anyone. In her case, she can do that too. But she needs a lot of it.” Yuko explains, sitting on a chair right behind the door, crossing her legs she continued. “Although, if they take a certain amount from the person they’re bound to, they don’t have to kill people, or suck more blood.”

The change of color of Ai’s face from normal to pink was interesting. Everybody in the room thought how fascinating it was. The normally composed Track and Field athlete and Student Council President was blushing like a school girl in love.

“Ai-chan could it be…” Sayu said with a teasing tone, as Ai looked at her, eyes wide both eyebrows up. “Oh, that’s so interesting.”

“Are you telling me, that I’m her destiny or something?” Ai asked innocently as she slowly licked her lower lip and bit it.

“Something like that.” Junjun interjected, making Ai look at her sharply. “What we’re trying to tell you, is that whether she likes it or not, she’ll be in love with you forever, like your reincarnations and such.”

“Eh?” Ai asked, totally oblivious to everything.

“Gaki-san’s been around for more or less a hundred years. Same with us.” Eri explained with a wry smile. “She’s seen a lot of your reincarnations. With different names and faces, not all of them fell in love with her. Most of them got married off to different people; some of them are men, some of them died early and such. But right now it’s you.”

“Eh? But… did she… did she need all of the other ones’ blood or something…?” The blushing female asked.

“Before…” Yuko answered, closing her eyes. “I think it’s best if she’s the one to tell you. I’ll at least inform you this. You’re the first. With her in full consciousness.”

“You mean the ones before…”

“She was totally out of control, yup.” Sayu answered and sighed. “It was a reaaaaal, bother. Such a pain.” She starts playing with the band-aid on her face, while Ai made a wondering look at her. “Yes, yes. This is from her. Taking blood from you is her only way to calm down, and stay normal.”

“It makes her in control of her Vampire form too.” Junjun added. “Ah, I think she’s waking up.”

“Alright, everybody stand. We need to be on standby.” Yuko said as the four of them stood behind Ai, who just looked at them wondering.

“Umm… why are you behind me?”

“Because, behind you is the safest place.” Eri answered and smiled. Ai only nodded and faced forward, only to find a face right in front of her.

“Umm… Hello, Gaki-san.” Ai greeted as she bit her lower lip. Risa blinked once, showing her red eyes, twice to gold, and thrice to dark brown. “Are you alright?”

Risa moves back down towards the bed, holding her temples with one hand. “Umm… uh… yes, yes. I’m… okay.”

“Are you okay, Gaki-san?” Eri asked peering from Ai’s shoulder.

“I believe I just answered that, Kame.” Gaki replied with a leer that made the poor turtle shivering and quickly clinging onto her black haired girlfriend.

“How do you feel?” Junjun asked. “I’m not asking if you’re okay.”

“I feel dizzy, but that’s about it.” The female on the bed answered and looked around. “Seeing that all of you are here, in Ai-chan’s home…” Her eyes lands on the room owner as she sighed. “I assume they told you everything.”

“Not everything. There are things that only you can tell her.” Yuko answered in a matter of fact way. “However, she does know stuff like you forever being in love with her, or you needing her blood to stay in control of your consciousness.”

Risa immediately bends forward, pulling her knees up in an effort to hide her blushing face.

“You act like a teenage school girl in love.” Sayu scoffs as Risa glared at her.

“So… just go ahead and bite her.” Junjun encouraged, Risa sent her another glare. “Oh. That’s not working to me.”

Ai looked at Risa, and then on the people behind her. “Umm…”

“I’m still really against this.” Even though Risa said that, her hair immediately switched colors as her eyes swapped from brown into gold. “I didn’t do that.”

“Your heart is excited, so just get it over with.” Yuko answered, urging the now in Goddess form, vampire.

“So it really is you…” Ai spoke as she looked at Risa. She slowly stood up and sat on the edge of her bed and stretched an arm out to cup Risa’s cheeks.

The Goddess-Vamp blushed immediately, feeling the heat from the girl’s hand on her face. “What… what do you mean?”

“You’ve saved me. A lot of times. In my dreams.” Ai spoke and smiled gently at her. Risa’s eyes immediately darted to Junjun who only shrugged. “Eh?”

“Explain later, bite now.” Yuko gritted her teeth at the female who only growled.

“How can I do that if all of you are in here?” Risa asked.

“You make it seem like biting is like sex—“ Sayu spoke and smirked. “Oh wait, it is.”

“Eh!?” Ai turned to look at her, only to find the bunny being fished by the collar as Eri dragged her out the door, Yuko and Junjun behind them.

An awkward silence filled the room that was now composed of only two people. The sound of a weight being lifted off resounded; Risa grabbed Ai’s shoulder and let her sit on the bed she was previously occupying.

“Umm… you can take it. You’ll need it.” Risa said shyly as Ai nodded and sat on the bed. The Vampire stood in front of her and scratched her head. “I’m still really against this.”

“But you need it… right?” Ai said and bit her lower lip. “To stay in control… without having to kill people.”

“Yes…” Risa answered, looking away. She turned her eyes to look at Ai who was nervously playing with her school uniform’s skirt patterns. “Forgive me…”

“Hm?” Ai looked up to her and tilted her head to one side. “For what?”

“I probably took your first kiss, with that… last one.” Risa said, scratching her cheek.

“I don’t mind at all, if it’s Gaki-san.” Ai blushed, looking away.

Another silence filled up the room, this time a comfortable one. Risa looked at Ai at the same time Ai looked at her. They immediately turned away into different directions, immediately feeling stupid.

Risa placed a hand over Ai’s shoulder making the female look up at her. Slowly she lowered down her head to capture awaiting lips into a passionate kiss. Gaki slowly pushed the other female down the bed all the while kissing her jaw, and licking and nipping on Ai’s neck.

Ai let out a soft moan as a confident tongue flicked around the space between her neck and shoulder then a kiss. She felt her breathe hitch when the muscle left her skin and was immediately replaced by teeth sinking into her flesh. She bit her lower lip to prevent herself from letting out a long and loud moan as Risa started sucking on her blood.

Not a few seconds longer, Risa licked around the spots she bit on as the wounds healed instantly. Her eyes softly shifted from gold to red as her hair turned white. Ai struggled to open her eyes; hands quickly searched for Risa’s when she felt a weight leave her bed.

“Stay.” Ai said softly. Although happy but reluctant, Risa obeyed and sat back on the side of her bed. “Thank you.”

“No. Thank you.” Risa muttered as Ai dozed off to sleep. “We’re done.” She communicated telepathically, and then the four instantly entered the room quietly without using the door. “Hey, use the door.”

“Do not want~” Sayu pouted as Risa facepalmed herself with her hand that wasn’t grasped on by Ai. “Been long since I saw that form, Gaki-san~”

“Oh, I just saw that about two hours ago.” Yuko muttered and shrugged.

“Yeah, I need to apologize to them.” Risa muttered and scratched her head. “But I can’t leave. She wants me here.”

“I’m sure they’ll just want a rematch anyway.” Yuko shrugged. “Let’s go. We have a job to do. Rika informed me that the police are having a tough time with these bank hold uppers.”

“I’ll go there once she wakes up.” Risa said and received nods from the four. “Use the door.”

Sayu only stuck her tongue out as Eri sent apologies to Risa through her eyes. Junjun just followed as Yuko led the way.

“What do you feel for me… Ai-chan?”

“Aika?” Reina asked as the female standing before her pouted.

Multiple empty bullet cases clank onto the ground as one Michishige Sayumi swiftly dodged a bullet that had a fifty-fifty chance of damaging her pretty face.

In mid-step, Li Chun suddenly faltered and looked into the direction of the moon.

“Junjun?” Kamei Eri called still in her invisible form as the robbers still rained them with bullets. “Anything wrong?”

“… This is bad. I’m sorry. I need to go.” Without another word in, Jun stepped out of the battlefield of raining bullets and disappeared.

Eri looked at Sayu who only shrugged.

“Who is Junjun?” Tanaka Reina asked as she leaned her head to one side.

“Come on, Tanaka-san,” Aika moves a hand forward as if shooing something. “Weren't you so madly in love with Junjun?”

Tanaka Reina immediately blushed. “I-- excuse me. What?”

“You know, all those times you made her chase you all around the park cause she embarrassed you for surprising you with earrings and such.” Aika crossed her arms and put her hand under her chin. “Hmm.. that was pretty funny.”

“Umm... Excuse me. What are you talking about?” Reina raised an eyebrow. “I did that?”

 Suddenly there was flying debris as a nearby gas station exploded. People were in a panic, they started running towards where Reina and Aika where talking. Repeatedly, they got hit by running people on the shoulder, as slowly, ever so slowly they drifted far from each other.

Li Chun arrives in the scene and quickly looks at the burning gas station. In a half-panic, she passes by Reina and swiftly grabs her hand to lead her out of the crowded people.

Briefly their eyes met.

Reina felt like something was missing.

Jun knew it was dangerous.

A hand softly closed onto another that moved in accordance to that hands position in order to grip it tighter. The figure turned to one side, expression in complete peace and quiet.

A very normal (thankfully) Niigaki Risa sat on the bedside of Ai’s bed, as council president grasped her hand tighter. Not knowing what to do properly, she only squeezed it in return.

“Use the door, Kame.” Gaki-san spoke in almost a whisper, as the full Goddess appeared in a school uniform, sticking her tongue out. “What is it?”

“I came here to pick you two up?” Eri spoke and pointed at Risa and Ai, while biting her lower lip, eyebrows raised.

“Good morning, Gaki-san.” Ai opened her eyes as she looked at the person to her side. Her eyesight slowly landed onto their connected hand. Her cheeks colored to a nice shade of pink, while slowly untangling their tightly glued together hands. “Umm… Eri, good morning.”

“Good morning, Ai-chan~” Eri waved and smiled. “Do you remember, Nakazawa-san?”

The girl could only nod.

“She said she wants you to meet everyone.”

Clacking of black shoes hit the floor as two pairs of feet walked around in a dark room.

“They’re gaining power?” Someone said, the black shoes turning into a halt. “Are they even real?”

“I’m not really sure myself.” Another voice answered, sitting on a chair. “What do you think, Nacchi?”

“Well… as far as I have gathered…” The black shoes started walking again. “We are on the right track, Kaorin.”

On a early morning, the breeze softly whistled among the trees on the park. A female wearing a uniform stood near the railings, her long brunette hair down to her shoulders as the wind danced with golden tresses.

“Hey.”

The figure turned around, and smiled.

“Hi. Good morning, Junko.”

“Good morning, Tanaka-san.”

“You can just call me Reina, you know.”

“Reina.”

“Alright, Kame. We’ll be there.” Risa answered and glanced at Ai.

“Eh? You guys aren’t coming with me?” Eri asked, tilting her head to one side.

“Umm… she just looked like she’s got something to tell me.” Risa scratched her head while Eri turned to look at Ai who suddenly sat up on her bed. Gaki shrugged at a confused Eri. Ai smiled at the Goddess.

“Okay then. I’ll tell Nakazawa-san you two will be there in an hour?”

“Make that two? We both could use a shower.” Risa answered and smiled. “Umm, yeah. I need to go home.”

“Heh~” Eri smirked and disappeared into thin air. “Oops, I forgot the door!”

“You can’t go use it to go out, if you didn’t use it to go inside.” The Vampire closed her eyes and sighed.

“Oh yeah.”

“Ahokame.”

“Reina-chan.” Mrs. Tanaka moved her daughters arm in an effort to wake her up. “Reina-chan. You rarely sleep through your alarm. Wake up or you’re going to be late.”

The cat-like female turned to her side and sat up to look at her mother. “Un. Mornin’.” She greeted, her eyes still closed. Although without a warning, she suddenly bolted up from the bed and rushed into the toilet.

Reina grabbed the edge of the toilet bowl as the remnants of her dinner were spilled into the innocent water. She blinked a few more times as she looked at the water and felt another one creeping from her stomach to her throat. Immediately, the gooey substance was flushed.

“Reina-chan, are you alright?” Mrs. Tanaka asked worriedly, assisting her daughter to a few tissues and helped her wipe her face clean.

“Un.” She nodded lazily, her head slightly throbbing as if another round is threatening to build up again. “I think I ate something bad last night.”

“You should really lessen the snacks. Go and take a bath, alright?” Mrs. Tanaka concernedly ruffled her daughter’s hair. “Tell me if you can’t make it to school.”

“I’ll be fine, Mama. I’ll be taking a bath now.”

Tanaka Reina quickly took a bath, got dressed, ate a little of her breakfast and left for school. Thinking that a change in pace from her usual train, she decided to walk to school, decided to pass by the park.

“Maybe, I can meet Junko, today?” She thought as she smiled, finally arriving at the park. She made her way to her favorite railing and stood near it, to be able to lean her arms on it.

“Hey.”

“Hi. Good morning, Junko.”

“Good morning, Tanaka-san.”

“You can just call me Reina, you know.”

“Reina.” She smiled at the shorter female, who returned it. “Shouldn’t you be at school?”

“I just stopped by. Maybe I’ll feel a little better.” Reina answered and took in some more of the fresh air.

“Hm?” Junjun raised an eyebrow. “Did something happen?” She walked near Reina and leaned on the railing as well.

“I threw up this morning.” Reina winced at the memory. God knows she hated the feeling of throwing up the most. “So I took a walk. Maybe the fresh scenery will make me feel a little better.”

“I see. Well… do you feel any better?” Junjun asked with a smile, Reina returned the smile.

“Ah… why is it so hot today?” Reina blew at her bangs and sighed.

“It’s actually a bit colder today than yesterday…” Junjun stepped closer to the shorter female. “Umm… Rein—“ Suddenly, the female fell forward onto her arms. “—a?”

Unconscious, knocked out cold.

“Junjun, we have a meeting today.” Michishige Sayumi tried contacting the black haired female. “You disappeared last night. You better explain yourself.”

“I will. For now, I need to take care of someone. I’ll listen in to the meeting through telepathy.”

In a swift motion, Jun carried Reina onto her arms comfortably and made her way to her car. It couldn’t be. It shouldn’t be.

“What is it, Ai-chan?” Gaki lovingly looked at the female beside her. “Is something bothering you? Do you… regret—“

“I regret nothing, Gaki-san.” Ai smiled at her. “It’s just… something IS bothering me.” She closed her eyes as if trying to intently remember something.

“What is it?”

“I’ve met you before.” Ai started, Gaki’s jaw clenched. “In my dream. I’m certain. I can’t forget about it. But this time… last night. I dreamed.” She looked at her hands that rested on her lap. She closed her eyes to remember, but suddenly shook her head. “I can’t remember everything. Although I only vaguely remember something happening. Something exploded… A gas station? A store? A mall? I’m not sure.” She raised her right hand to use her index finger to press on her temple, as if to remember. “All I can recall is that, there were many people running. There was fire spreading. It wasn’t a bad situation. It was quickly put out, and thankfully no one died.”

Gaki nodded as Ai wiped her eyes of tears. “Are you alright?”

“Un.” Ai nodded and smiled. “But, after confirming that my dream is actually reality, or did or does happen in reality. I can’t help but be worried, Gaki-san.”

“We’ll tell Nakazawa-san that, alright?” Gaki patted Ai’s head. She brought her hand from her head to her cheeks, and removed a few tears and smiled. “Get some breakfast, get some shower. I’ll be back later. I need to go home, alright?”

Ai looked away. “Also… there’s more.”

“More?” Gaki frowned.

“… I had an image of someone… getting into a car accident.” Ai licked her lower lip and bites on it. “And… someone getting injected with something.”

“These… are weird.” Gaki blinked a lot of times and assures Ai that everything will be fine. “We’ll tell them, and we’ll see what we can do, alright?”

Ai nodded. “Gaki-san…”
“Yes?” Risa turned around, her hand on the door knob.

“Are you… okay now?” Ai asked shyly.

“Of course.” Risa answered with a bright smile. “It’s all thanks to you.” She turned the door knob and opened it. “See ya.”

“Where is Junjun?” Nakazawa-san asked, as she took a look around them, slowly taking attendance. “Mari is here, Keichan too. Rika, W, Kamei, Michishige, Niigaki and Takahashi are here as well. Just, Junjun then.”

“I’m sorry, Nakazawa-san. I’ll listen in via telepathy.”  Jun said as the leader nodded in affirmation.

“Okay, we will start then.” Yuko said as she motioned for everyone to sit down on a long rectangular chair inside the white room. “In a summarization, Takahashi Ai is a human we need to take in to protection. Niigaki had bitten her in order to stabilize her abilities, which means that her scent would be lingering around her for as long as how forever ever seemed to you. Other people than the Atheists might recognize her by her scent. Like, other creatures like werewolves. If there are any in Japan.”

“…There are other creatures?” Ai asked as she blinked rapidly.

“We’ve been into western countries. I guess yeah.” Yaguchi Mari nodded in affirmation. “But we’ll protect you good. Don’t worry.” Ai nodded.

“Okay. Now I think I owe you guys some… explanation.” Ishikawa Rika stood up and frowned. “Regarding, Yoshizawa Hitomi.”

“Hit it.” Yuko said.

“About… Eighteen years ago… I had a relationship, with her.” Rika explained, some gasped, and some only nodded. “I asked Jun, to delete her memories of me. I guess that was impossible.”

“Why did you ask Jun to delete her memories?” Yasuda Kei asked curiously. “Is it because of…”

“Yes. I was pregnant, with her child.” Rika sighed and looked away.

“It’s… possible for two girls to get pregnant?” Curiously, Takahashi Ai asked.

“Yes. It’s a common process.” Nakazawa Yuko answered. “It can only happen during intercourse. When the Succubus or a Vampire bites their partner, as long as the partner is willing to do the pregnancy together, if it’s between Goddesses, then just the will itself is enough. Yes it is possible. The process is also the same as a normal human. Nine months.”

“How do they choose, who will carry?” Ai asked again, very curiously.

“It depends on the body compatibility.” Ishikawa Rika answered. “It just so happened that I’m more fit to take the child, that’s why I carried it. However the only risk of me carrying it is that if the child would become a full goddess, or a half.”

“If Yoshizawa-san carried it, the chance is the child will be human, or a half, isn’t it?” Risa answered and Rika nodded at her.

“But… what happened to the child, Ishikawa-san?” Kamei Eri asked.

“It happened during the time with Gaki-san… I had entrusted her with an old lady, for safety.” Rika started. “However… when I returned the old lady had died during the incidents that happened, and the child was taken from her. Now I do not know where she is.”

“… Do you want her back?” Tsuji Nozomi asked quietly, prodding the paper in front of her, that has doodles of random faces and what seemed to be a Nakazawa with devil horns.

“Yes. But… not now, during a bad time where the Atheists are aggressive.” Rika answered and smiled wryly. “It’s so hard to try and find her, without trying to ask Yossie. Because the easiest way is to get the scent of her blood and ask Sayumin, Junjun or Gaki-san to look for her.”

“I see.” Yuko answered and looked up at the ceiling as if she was in deep thought. “Someone please explain about Takahashi.”

“I will then.” Yasuda Kei answered and motioned for Rika to sit down. “As what you might have picked up, Gaki-san asked Junjun to remove your memories of her. However, because you know her, it seems that it didn’t happen.”

“Yes.” Ai answered.

“How did you get your memories back?”

“I didn’t forget anything. I didn’t gain anything.” Ai inhaled, and exhaled. “I dreamt about it.”

Kei blinked a few times. “… A dream. Huh.”

“In any case, what’s important now is that we have a few more information cleared. However, we still don’t have any identities on the Atheists. We need to be more careful. We almost lost a handful of humans in last night’s mission. They seem to get bolder and bolder on each night they launch an attack.” Yuko grunted and slammed her hand on the table. “Using poisoned bullets, really?”

“I’m sorry, I was absent from last night’s mission.” Gaki-san said and bowed her head.

“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it.” Aibon answered and snorted. “You still owe us something, and owe us more things because we covered for ya last night.”

“Yes sure. I’ll play with you guys.” Risa sighed and smiled.

“HEY! Me too!”

“Yes, Yes, Yaguchi-san.”

“How do you know this girl, Junjun?” A female of someone in around her early twenties walked over to a hospital bed. “Don’t look at me like that. I had called in someone to fill me in the school.”

“Thanks for accommodating me, Matsuura-san. Even though you had other matters to attend to.” Li Chun said and smiled.

“With the way you were looking worriedly at her as if she was dead, how could someone refuse that?” Matsuura Aya, owner of the Matsuura Clinic and the School Nurse answered and smiled. “In any case, there are a few things I need to confirm with the patient. I also need to run a few more tests.”

“Could she be…?” Jun asked.

“I’m not sure. I don’t want to talk yet when I don’t have a hundred percent probability of being right.”

Red eyes squinted to look at white walls, waiting for an opening. Taking a step forward she pivot her right foot, to deliver a fast roundhouse kick to her right side with her left foot, suddenly sending a figure to the ground.

“Brat, that hurts!” A Yaguchi Mari shouted before rolling to one side and disappearing into air again.

“Sorry!” Niigaki Risa in full goddess form apologized (not-so-sincerely) and ducked watching an Aibon crash on the ground behind her. “Hehe.”

“Are you playing with us, Gaki-san!?” An evident voice of who seemed to be Tsuji shouted right behind Risa. She unleashed a well prepared axe kick but the fast goddess-vampire evaded to the side with a turn. Suddenly the back of Risa's leg sending Tsuji flying towards Aibon. “Hey!”

“I did say I will play for a bit.” Risa answered with a cheeky grin before a leg flashed right on her face.

“Gotcha--oh crap!” Mari was suddenly launched up towards the ceiling with a grab. “Cheater!”

“Not my fault you like flying, Yaguchi-san!” Risa answered with amusement evident in her voice. “Harharhar.”

“Although I am worried, this is sort of amusing to watch.” Ai spoke as she drank from her cup of coffee. “Won't they get hurt?”

“They're not serious with each other. They'll be fine-Ah, Yaguchi-san your shoe flew- it's always like this for the past few days anyway.” Rika answered and sipped her own cup of coffee.

The two sat on white chairs with a white table accompanied by a pure white set of teacups about six feet apart from the brawling children.

They remain rested and safe inside the headquarters of the goddess.

“Weeeeee~!” Tsuji wheezed as she was launched up in the air again, doing a back flip before landing perfectly on the floor. “That was fun!”

“I still think I have the short end of the stick here though.” Risa sighed and smiled as she dodged a few more legs and grabbed a sock before throwing it to the side.

“Yaguchi-san! Your sock followed!”

“Are we initiating that today?” A slightly deep voice asked. Slim legs crossed and uncrossed.

“Sure. Send her out on her first mission, Kaorin.” A mid-pitched unique voice commanded.

Slim legs straightened up from the chair, long fingers flattened lout wrinkles on her skirt, long hair were flip from the front to back.

“Understood.”

Nakazawa Yuko at on her desk at the adjacent room from where a commotion is happening, and quietly wrote on her paper as if deep in thought.

A knock came, sensing who it was; she only nodded as the door opened.

“What is it, Junjun?”

“Please, I need your advice.”

“Sayuuu~” The turtle cooed towards the grumpy bunny who was sent out for groceries. “Don't be too grumpy already~”

“I'm not, Eririn. Let's just go, what do you need to buy?” Sayu asked they both entered the small convenience store. She looked around the side of the store and narrowed her eyebrows towards what seemed to be a young girl lost. “Or you can go ahead, I'll just go look over at something?”

Eri looked at the same direction and frowned but nonetheless smiled and nodded at her lover.

Michishige Sayumi cheerfully walked towards the young girl. “Hello, are you lost?”

“Eh? Umm.... Y- Yes...” The young girl answered and looked at the ground. “A- Are you from nearby, Onee-san?”

“Yep! Ask me anything! Where do you need to go?” Sayu asked. The young girl hurriedly pulled out a paper from her pocket and showed it to the black haired female. “Ah. That's nearby.”

From inside, Eri looked at Sayu as she paid for the small amount of groceries she was asked to go buy.

“That will be 2,657 Yen.” The cashier clerk told the turtle who handed her three one thousand bills. “Your change is 343 Yen.”

Eri happily took the change and turned around to go outside and meet her lover at the same time the young girl bowed at Sayu and ran into a direction.

“How did it go?” Eri asked Sayu who wryly smiled at her. “Sayu?”

“...What.” Sayu looked down as she grabbed her face with her hand. “...How...” She immediately dropped to the ground her legs giving out. She scratched on the ground with her hands as Eri hurriedly kneeled to her side

“Sayu?! Sayu!! What's wrong!?” Eri called to her lover as she carried her by the arm and led her to the back of the store. “Nakazawa-san! We're teleporting in!”

Sayu and Eri arrived in the headquarters in no time, with everyone else popping in Kei's room.

“Sayumin!”

“Shige-chan!”

“Sayusuke!”

“Sayu!”

“What happened!?” Kei asked in a panic. Everyone else crowded around them.

Eri explained as Sayu's head rested on her thighs while she rested on the ground.

“Sayu! Open your eyes! You have to tell how you feel!” Kei shouted as she forced Sayu's eyelids to open.

Her temperature was dangerously low and she was sweating profusely as if she was continuously doing exercise. Her fingers were hard as if she was freezing up.

“I... I helped a lost young girl. I shook her hand and as she left, suddenly.... I....” Sayu coughed as if she choked into her own saliva.

“Sayu!” Eri hugged her head as tears flowed down her eyes. “Tell me you're going to be okay!”

“Of course, I am. Stupid, Eririn...” Sayu answered as her eyes suddenly closed, head dropping to one side.

“This… is this some sort of poison?” Yasuda Kei put a thumb on her chin and immediately grabbed one of Sayu’s wrists and checked her pulse. “Pulse is palpitating. Gaki-san! Can you check if her blood is normal?”

“Got it!” Risa went towards Sayu and bit a little on her wrist, she concentrated a little before spitting out blood on the ground. “Poison.” She coughed a little, as Takahashi Ai placed a hand on her back. “Directly into her bloodstream.”

“Who can—“ No-no stood up to look at Nakazawa Yuko who only frowned. “…Only one person.”

“Junjun! Please bring Sayu-chan onto the bed in the clinic!” Kei shouted as Jun immediately rushed to lift Sayu and Eri followed them inside the clinic.

“Iida Kaori.” Nakazawa Yuko spoke as Rika frowned and Kago Ai just showed an expression of mixed fright and disgust that cannot be explained well.

“Why would Kaorin…” Ishikawa Rika spoke. She walked forward a bit and just sighed. “She really is siding with them now, isn’t she?”

“I’m sorry, but who is this… Iida Kaori-san?” Takahashi Ai asked. Everyone looked at her and frowned. “Umm… You don’t have to tell me if it’s not fine?”

“Kaorin is a full-blooded goddess, who fell in love with a human.” Yuko answered and pressed her right temple with her index finger. “She disappeared around eighteen years ago, and out of all of us, she’s the most knowledgeable in medicine.”

“So… because it’s a poison directly into her blood stream… you have deduced that only she can do it?” Takahashi asked as everyone nodded. “But…”

“She knows a goddesses’ weak point everywhere. With all of the recent improvements on the atheists side, silver bullets, now poisoning, only she has this kind of knowledge, Ai-chan.” Rika answered frowned. “But we need evidence of her existence.”

“Hoping she hasn’t passed down all the knowledge to someone else, that is.” Yuko chided.

Kei moved about around the clinic as she injected dextrose into Sayu’s right wrist and a few pulse readers to see of her survival.

“We don’t know how fast the poison is spreading. But if Sayu drinks some of Eri’s blood, then we can probably do something about this issue.” Kei said as she hovered over Sayu, who suddenly opened her eyes.

“No.” She answered firmly as she coughed again, her black hair sticking to her face, sweat still flowing out of her skin. “I am not, biting Eri.”

“But you need it! Sayu!” Eri insisted as she held onto Sayu’s hand. “Just this once!”

“If I started now, I’m going to start needing them,” Another flight of cough. “Again! I don’t want that!”

“But you can’t die!” Eri shouted right into Sayu’s face. Shocked of her sudden expression, as if the bunny was really on the verge of death, the turtle shook her head left and right and pressed her forehead on Sayu’s. “You can’t be sick. You can’t die. You can’t leave me.”

“Eri… I’ll be fine.” Sayu answered. At the same time, she coughed harshly again her pulse rates getting higher and lower at jumping intervals. Sayu’s hair started discoloring slowly into white, as if something is forcing her into her Goddess form.

“Sayu! Just do it! If you don’t I’m going to forcefully cut myself and let you drink my blood by myself!” Eri shouted as tears fell down from her eyes onto Sayu’s pale cheeks. “Michishige Sayumi!”

“Eri, if I said no, No!” Sayu shouted, her hair completely dying into white, her eyes into red.

“Then, I’ll just have to force you into it then!” Eri parted away from Sayu’s face and took a nearby scalpel and put it over her wrist. “We need to give first aid to this poison and the only way for that is for you to automatically heal yourself by drinking blood.”

“No.”

“Sayu! I can’t have you suffer and have the risk of leaving me!” Eri shouted as her hand with the scalpel shook as she slowly brought it down to her wrist. “Because you can’t leave the baby you have with me!”

Michishige Sayumi’s eyes widened as Kei and Junjun, equally surprised looked at her. Eri closed her eyes as she attempted to slice down her wrist, but another hand prevented her from doing so.

Junjun’s hand was strong as it held onto Eri’s wrist. The taller female shook Eri’s hand until she let go of the scalpel, and more tears flowed down Eri’s face.

“Do it, Michishige-san.” Junjun spoke.

“Okay.”

“—Of course they’ll know what using the natural restorative ability of a vampire can fight it out.” Someone spoke and sat down on her chair, crossing her legs. “No one knows that it’s actually transferrable that way.”

Not from a far, another person sitting behind a desk smirked. “Very well done.”

So I think my thoughts on this chapter can be summed up thusly:

The Babies!! And the Poison! Poison and Babies! :panic: :panic:

Yeah, I think that about gets my thoughts. :lol:
