Aw I'm sad it's all at an end now. Watching the highlights of the past 2 weeks on the massive screen made me appreciate watching all the medals won, the records broken. Beijing really pulled out all the stops to make it a successful games, which it seems to have been. When they were speaking of the Olympics bringing people regardless of gender, nationality or ethnic origin together, I believed it. You know I wasn't even going to bother with the Olympics a month ago, now I can say I'm glad I took an interest in it as it's probably been the sporting highlight of the year (well ok, perhaps not quite as good as Man Utd win the double
