I'd love it in NYC, but I just don't think it will be here. :(
So many ads about not building the stadium.

bah everyone is still afraid of MOCKBA
the last olympics I adored was barcelona.... madrid would have been nice.
almost unfair how strong all the cities were this time around.
paris has been turned down thrice now in recent years.... doubt if they'll try again sometime soon.... sigh.

Somehow half-price won't be enough of a discount for the frenchies.  Personally, I was hoping Singapore would get it.  No offense to New Yorkers, but there was NO WAY that New York would get it because the IOC doesn't like having two consecutive Olympics on the same continent, and with Vancouver/Whistler getting the 2010 games, New York was effectively knocked out of the running 2 years ago.  The IOC just waited until this morning to make it official.

Yah, that's one reason I didn't want London to get it. I hated it when I wanted to watch Winbledon and found out that no game was on today because of the rain. They will need roofs everywhere. and Paris has such nice weather... :(

I watched some part of Brit's presentation vid today. It looked very cool. Anyone know where I can get a full vid?

Maybe this is it: http://www.webcast.ukcouncil.net/hosted/london2012/

It was a cool video with the construction worker doing the javeline. and the guy in the Iverson jersey.

completely feel sorry for Paris. It was like London just came in and mainpulated the votes with Beckham and Blair.
