Leaving

Tick…tock…tick…tock…

The clock sounded in the silent room where Momoko was quietly lying down on her bed. She lay there, as still as a dead person would be but she was awake and breathing. She moves her head slightly to the right to take a peek on the clock. “9 o’clock…” she whispered as she moves back to her former position. She got back to thinking until a knock on the door made her jump out of bed.

“Momoko! Aren’t you going to go and say goodbye to your friend?” her mother asked in a curious tone.

Silence returned to her mother as her reply.

“Momoko! You have to hurry if you want to go. This is the last time you’ll see her.” Her mother continued, trying to convince Momo to leave and bid her friend farewell.

“I…won’t go.” She finally answered, walking backwards until she hit her desk.

Looking back at her cute pink colored desk with her books from school lying organized on one corner, she found this small envelope sticking out from one of her books.

“Momoko!”
Her mother yelled from the other side of the door.

She didn’t pay attention to her mother anymore since she was mostly curious about the small envelope that she just saw. She carefully took it out of its place and studied the parcel from front to back. She didn’t see anything else other than the Kanji letters of her name. She quickly opens it after realizing whom it’s from.

“Why…Why would she…” she said nervously as she started reading the letter.

Momo,

Momo-chan, how are you? How was school? Still having a hard time with the guy in your class? I can scare him off if you want to. Do you? Anyway, school term is ending tomorrow. Isn’t that great? Well, for me it is…

Momo ran out of her room, nearly hitting her mother’s face when she opened the door.

“Momoko!” Her mom shouted back as she was running down the stairs and out she went.

She stopped on an intersection signaling every taxi that went her way but not one stopped. One, two, three… she was beginning to lose hope.

“C’mon, c’mon!”
She pleaded as she signaled the 5th taxi that come her way, and luckily, it went her way and stopped in front of her. She quickly went in while thanking Kami-sama for giving her the ride she wanted.

“Where to miss?” The driver asked, looking at her from the rear-view mirror.

“Narita Airport please.” Momo replied quickly without hesitation.

As she waited anxiously at the backseat, she remembered the letter she was reading earlier.

… Do you remember the time when we were running at the park? You were trying to catch me but before you could, you fell down and scraped your knee. You were like, “You’re mean! Look what you did? How will my fans love me with this scraped knee?” and I was just giggling in front of you but in the end I carried you to a nearby clinic to get it treated. Do you remember?

While I was holding you, it felt different. I mean, we hold each other, hug every time we can, but this time, it really felt different. It felt like I was holding a part of my world that I couldn’t let go of. A part of my world that changed the course of my life, the part that I couldn’t think of loosing…

The taxi stopped in front of the airport’s entrance before Momo quickly got off and ran inside. She ran towards the signboard on where Japan Airlines going to America is boarding. “Terminal 12…” she whispered that only she can hear. Momo ran towards that tunnel hoping she hasn’t boarded yet.

“Please, just a little longer.”
Tears starting to fall from her eyes as she again prays to Kami-sama to grant her wish.

…Do you feel that way when you were holding me Momo-chan?

Momo was still trying to find the terminal. She had passed terminal 10 and that means she’s getting close.

“P-please, still be there.” Stuttering on the first word as she tries to catch her breath.

…About the girl I’ve been telling you…

Passing terminal 11, and seeing terminal 12 just a few meters away. She found hope as she saw people starting to line-up at terminal 12. That hope gave her more strength that she couldn’t even remember having tired and aching legs.

“Please… don’t leave me like this…” Momo begged earnestly to Kami-sama that she wouldn’t board yet.

…That girl was you, Momo-chan

Arriving at her destination, seeing the passengers lining up to board. She examined every person and finally, seeing a small one at the middle of the line.

…I love you.

Momo gathered all her remaining strength before shouting.

“Saki Shimizu! I LOVE YOU!”

wow, this is the first time in a long time that I read a fic and commented it D:

So..Hooray for you!! =D

This one-shot is very cute and better than what I expected =D
Plus it's a kids fic! (We need more kids love in here!)
Anyway, good story, very cute.

I really enjoyed reading this and I'm glad that the writer of the letter turned out to be Saki in the end because I was hoping it would be her (I was very tempted to scroll to the bottom to check who it was before reading the whole thing). Captain is definitely my favourite member from the H!P Kids so it's cool to see her in something.

The idea of tiny Saki scaring off a guy for Momo like she mentioned in the letter is really amusing and I kind of wish I could see it just for the luls.

That was unbelievably cute! :inlove: The letter from Captain was so sweet and I'm glad Momo decided to go and see her off after all. It's never a good idea to let feelings stay quiet when someone's leaving.

Thank you guys!  XD
I was really nervous at first, since this is the first time I've written a one-shot fic.
Just got inspired by one-shot fics I've read in H!O and here in JPH!P.
and I kept wondering why there are only a few fics about H!P kids.
So I figured, I'll do one-shot fics for them..

@Loser87: Yey! thank you!   btw, you haven't read fic for a long time? So what did you expect it to be?  :twothumbs

@Kuji: No peeking at the bottom..  I also want to see Captain do that. It just popped into my head while writing. Kind of funny but tempting to see.  :yep:

@strawb3rrykream: I was  actually thinking of Momo not being able to see her off since Captain had already board the plane, but, nah...

_______________

First

"I love you Miya..."

Chinami's eyes grew wide as she heard what the younger girl said to Miyabi inside the room she was eavesdropping. The door was halfway open and Chinami hesistated to peek inside since she didn't know if what she'll see is what she'll regret later.
As curious as she could be, she closed both her eyes and moved her head a little towards the opening as not to get attention from the two girls inside. When she can feel a slight breeze touch her face, she slowly opened her eyes and was frozen on what she saw.
Chinami couldn't believe on what she has seen, the younger girl liplocked with Miyabi. She didn't know what to do and was still rooted on where she was standing until she got back from her little world after knowing what to do.

Run...Chinami...Run!, echoed inside her head. RUN! and so she did. Running faster as she can, getting farther away from the room, that situation and most of all, away from Miyabi.

...

"Have any of you seen Toku-san?" Saki asked her fellow Berryz hoping to get an answer.

"I just saw her a while ago. I think she went to the washroom." Maasa replied while taking one kind of yakiniku on the center plate.

"I'll call her." Risako volunteered and quickly parted the group whom were busy eating.

...

Walking slowly in a small hallway, not planning to get back to the room, Chinami was about to walk out of the front door when Risako called her.

"Chii-chan. Captain is looking for you." Risako called trying to stop Chinami from going out.

Chinami stared at her for a while before looking down to look at her shoes. Feeling that there is something wrong, Risako walked slowly towards Chinami and was about to ask when Chinami was the first one to speak.

"Don't come near me..." Chinami said in a whisper that Risako wasn't able to understand.

"What Chii-chan? I didn't understand." Risako answered, lending an ear to the older girl.

"..." Silence only came from Chinami and Risako asked again. "Chii-chan-"

"I SAID! DON'T COME NEAR ME!" Chinami exclaimed that made Risako step back.

Risako couldn't understand why Chinami was acting that way, and to think, they were getting along preety well this morning. When Chinami felt that Risako was not leaving anytime soon, she started to think on how she would talk to her calmly but it didn't came out as calmly as she could think of.

"She told me first..." Chinami started, finally looking up to look at Risako.

"What?" Risako asked with a curious tone.

Not getting what she was saying, warm blood started to rise to her head and finally, "SHE TOLD ME FIRST THAT SHE LOVES ME!"

Taken aback, Risako's eyes grew wide with what Chinami just told her and she finally get to realize what she was saying.

"A-at first, I didn't know how to respond to her and told her I need to think about it." Chinami stuttered, since she was starting to panic.

...

"What is taking Risako long? She was just going to get Chinami and I think the washroom is just a few rooms away." Saki finally asked after just staring at the yakiniku on the center of the table that Maasa eaten half of the whole serving.

"I'll get them. Maybe they just stop to talk and didn't remember to come back." Miyabi explained while sliding the door shut behind her.

...

Finding herself near the washroom when she heard voices a little farther away. The voices were quite familiar to her but the only thing she found wrong with it is that it didn't sound like a normal voice for a friendly conversation. Realizing what the situation is, Miyabi followed the voices until she finally found Chinami and Risako.

"After a realizing just a few days ago my answer, I was about to tell her earlier. I was about to tell her how I feel the same for her..." Chinami paused not noticing a shaken figure popping out of nowhere was listening to them a few meters away.

"You're too late now Chii-chan! I told her first. So what if she told you first? You're the one who is slow. You gave an opening. I can't back-out just to let her be with you..." That last sentence Risako used to end her debate with the older girl, made Chinami cry.

"You don't understand Rii-chan! I love her..." Chinami answered pleadingly, wiping her tears from her eyes and looks back to Risako.

"I'm sorry Chii-chan... I won't give Miyabi to you. I also love her." With that, Chinami opened the door and ran towards the only place she knows she can relieve herself from her pain.

"Chinami!" Miyabi called while running down the stairs to run after her but before she could, Risako held her arm not wanting to let her go.

"Risako! Please let go. I need to go get Chinami." Miyabi begged to the girl holding her arm tight.

"No! You're with me now Miya!" Risako answered infuriated and pulled Miyabi close to her.

Miyabi tried her best to get Risako's hands off of her until she stopped. Risako thought Miyabi had accepted her fate with her until she felt a warm drop of water touched her right hand. She didn't expect this to happen. She thought Miyabi was happy with her now that they kissed. Miyabi was crying.

"Please Rii-chan..." Miyabi looked at Risako with those eyes of sadness and pain.

Miyabi looked back down when she felt Risako still not wanting to release her but then, her arm felt lighter and the warm body beside her moved. This is the right time to run she thought but before she could, she looked at Risako and said, "Thank you", before running out and goes to the place she knows she'll find Chinami.

...

Finally arriving to the place which she dreaded since she was a child. Now, it is a place where she could relieve herself from her pain. Hesitating for a second, Chinami started to walk towards the shallow part of the place until she reached the last part her feet could reach.

Arriving late to the place, she found only Chinami's head out of the water and any second Chinami might not get any ground and she'll fall deeper in the water. "Chinami!" She called, trying to get the older girls attention. When she realized there was no stopping her, Miyabi ran as quickly as she can towards the shallow waters and started calling out to her again.

"Chinami! Don't do it!" Miyabi shouted for the other to hear but it seems the water is now until Chinami's ears that she can't hear her well.

This is it. Chinami thought while feeling the ground below her that in any minute can't be reached anymore.

Goodbye mother, father, Captain, Maasa, Momo, Kumai, Risako... Miya-chan... Chinami smiled for a while after thinking about Miyabi. Now she knows she's dying because she thought she heard Miyabi's voice calling her.

I forgot to tell Captain to take care of Miyabi while I'm gone. She continued smiling a little again with the voice of Miyabi still in her mind but that smile faded when her feet slipped and found herself slowly being pulled deeper into the water. She was now using her the last few oxygen in her body and her surroundings were in a haze.

"Miya-chan...don't forget... I'll always be with you even if you can't see me..." She coughed and took hold of her neck.

"I love you Miya-chan..." Her eyes closed, her arms fell as she went unconcious.

...

Swimming faster as she could, Miyabi finally catched up to Chinami, hugged her tight and swam back to the shore as quickly as she can. "Chii-chan! Hold on! Please! Don't go!"

Finally getting to shore, Miyabi lay Chinami on the sand and checked her vital signs, but couldn't tell any source of life. She started to do CPR, hoping and begging that Chinami will come back.

"Please Chii-chan..." Miyabi pleaded now losing hope.

She paused for a while, staring at Chinami's pale face. She couldn't help but cry. "No! Chinami is not dead yet!" Miyabi keep telling herself as she stares at the quiet girl.

"CHINAMI!" Miyabi shouted as she hits Chinami's torso.

Still no sign of life, Miyabi held Chinami and let Chinami's head rest on her lap. Crying for a while as she couldn't hold her tears back, a tear dropped and as soon as it touched Chinami's forehead, Miyabi was surprised on the sound she heard. Chinami coughed out water, Miyabi stared at her as she can't believe that Chinami moved. When Chinami opened her eyes, it came to focus on the figure on top of her and when it was clear enough and realized who it was.

"Miya-chan..." Chinami whispered.

Miyabi couldn't answer quickly as she was still holding back her new tears.

"Baka..." She finally said, smiling.

"Why did you-" Miyabi put her finger on Chinami's lips to tell her to stop.

"Its because I love you Chi-chan... I don't want you to leave me again." Miyabi explained before leaning down to kiss her.

Hey, sorry I didn't reply to this thread before. ^^; I've been kinda out-of-it the last few days... :-X But I'm with Loser-chan - we definitely need more Berryz & C-ute  around here!!!

Both stories were cute and well-done I thought. :) Also nice and dramatic.. especially the second one... even though I generally am not the biggest fan of one-shots. I understood the second one just fine too. XD Don't know what's wrong with your sister. :P Is she a Berryz fan? I want to say poor Risako after that, but she was kind of bratty too. :P

Anyway, keep it up, I was wondering if I was getting to be alone around here writing about Berryz lol (along with slow-updating wordy that is XD then again... I haven't been much better lately... >.> ah well, I hope to change that soon! It helps to have people like you and kuji for inspiration ^^). :twothumbs

I have a confession to make... Berryz has totally won me over. (Not as much as MM, but yeah.) I've been spending a lot of time looking at Berryz stuff, and I gradually got into the fics, too. Seeing another one here is great; I agree with everyone else, too. We need more Berryz fics! (...*cough*WithChii*cough*)

Keep up the good work! ^^

:w00t:  rokun-sama!  XD wow, I didn't expect rokun to comment here and also loser-sama, but thank you!  :sweatdrop:

@rokun: that's okay.  :D yeah, I agree with the whole "we need more berryz and c-ute here "  XD I was inspired by one-shot fics here in but was very inspired to make one when I finished Berry Beautiful (chapter 38) latest chapter. I really love that fic of yours.  :inlove:
My sister listens to H!P songs but not literally a fan. She mostly listens to Berryz than other H!P groups but she doesn't consider herself  fan. Which is sad :(.

@ayase909:  :sweatdrop: sorry about that... I was actually considering Miya/Rii but maybe a new one will do, so I put Rii/Miya/Chii.  :sweatdrop:  no worries, I'll do Rii/Miya.. but a surprise will happen...  XD  but I won't do berryz fic next, so Rii/Miya will wait... sorry... :sweatdrop:

@ShikyoxYaiba: good to hear Berryz got you too.  XD  I'll make more Chii fics but as I said to ayase909, I won't do Berryz fic on my 3rd and 4th since its C-ute's turn.

But to tell all of you the truth, I am mostly a Berryz fan so I know them more than C-ute, but I know the C-ute with Megumi more than the C-ute now... :sweatdrop: so Its kind of hard to start a plot on people I don't know very well... But I will try... I just hope it turns out okay... :sweatdrop: so maybe later today or tomorrow, expect my 3rd one-shot.

______________

Fade

Airi was walking at a small shopping district when a shop ceased her to a stop. She stares at the TV just behind the glass that is set to the News channel. As she watched the current news being said, she wanted to tear herself from the said mechanism in front of her, but all her attempts failed. She stood there, staring at the screen as the news went on. Nobody around her bothered her, some looks her way but didn't tend to disturb her as they can see her gaze on the screen.

Here it is again...
Airi complained in her head. "C-ute with their new single..." She heard from the speakers outside the store.

Until when will they stop broadcasting it on TV? Airi asked to herself but wanting to let the media know.

Still not parting with her eyes stare at the screen as her groups newest single PV plays, she remembers the incident not too long ago, after the release of C-ute's PV, Bye Bye Bye.

...

"Airi-chan!" A familiar voice called behind her. Seeing Mai running towards her looking a bit pale, Airi couldn't help but to ask. "What is it Mai-chan? Is there something wrong?"

Stopping just in front of Airi, Mai was catching her breath as she speaks, "You... must... stop..." Mai started but found it hard to continue with lack of oxygen. Airi tilted her head a little in confusion. When Mai finally has restored her normal breathing, she didn't wait another second and just spitted it all out on Airi. Airi froze as she listens to her friend and as Mai finishes, Airi left, running, without any explanation.

Why... Why would you still deal with this? Airi took a left turn, ignoring the people she went by.

I even told you not to do it anymore... You asked me why... Airi crossed a road, ignoring the car that honked at her since she was near to be crashed on. "Hey! Look out will yah!" The guy in the car shouted but Airi didn't mind, she kept on running until she took another turn, entering an underground tunnel. The tunnel seemed so long as she looks through it.

She began to run again, trying to race with the tunnel that it won't get longer anymore, that she may reach the end. I didn't respond quickly but I said it in a whisper which I know you heard... Its because... Airi finally finished the race and came up the stairs, breathing heavily as she stops to feel the pain on her legs. Trying to catch some air, tears came falling and it made it harder to breath. Its because... She continued as she continued her journey to the place she told the older girl not to go.

She tried her best to stop her crying as she runs toward the entrance of an abandoned lot. Its because... I love you! Her eyes closed as she can't see anymore because of her tears. She was still running until she tripped on a protruding rock. As she fell down, finding it hard to stand up because of the pain on her legs as she was running non-stop. I love you... can't you see? That's why I didn't want you to continue with this deal.

Knowing she might not make it if she kept on laying there, she finally forced herself to stand up and to run again, as fast as she can. Its because I love you that I don't want you to get hurt! Those last words didn't return right as she saw the older girl sitting on the ground with her back leaning on the packed tires. Airi felt her tears coming back as she runs toward the girl.

Exhaustion took over the other girl as she tries to open her eyes just to see who touched her. "A-airi..." the girl said while trying to put up a smile. Airi only pouted as a response to the older girls smile. "I told you not to go!" Airi finally managed to say as she was debating herself about what she should say.

"But if I haven't, he wouldn't say he'll leave you alone..." the older girl replied.

Airi tried to hold herself not to hit the other girl as she didn't want to give her another bruise since the other girl had many. As Airi was cleaning the blood on the older girls face, they didn't notice a shadow behind them, holding out a gun fixed on Airi. As the moons light went their way, the gun reflected some of its light that the older girl saw. As soon as she saw it, she gathered all the strength she got left and took hold of Airi as the gun shots noise echoed. The gunner didn't stay for long as he saw that he hit the wrong person.

As the echoes faded, Airi, surprised as she was took hold of the older girl in front of her as she feared what she knew was not a dream. The older girl, stayed there, hold into place by Airi. "I told you not to go... Because I know this might happen..." Airi whispered to the older girls ears even if she knew the other girl won't hear her anymore. Tears came falling down once again as she snuggled on the older girls chest and held her tighter as she recalled what the older girl said before the deafening noise came.

I love you Airi

More tears came falling down as she took hold of the older girl she loved and once again whispered on her ear, "I love you too, Maimi..."

...

Airi looks down as she tries to hold back her tears. A cold breeze touched her and she looks at the direction its from. Maimi, stood a few meters away from her, smiling intimately. She failed as her tears started to fall down her cheek. As the breeze came up, Maimi started to fade. Not holding back her tears, Airi found herself smiling as she thought of Maimi. Even if you have faded here, you won't fade in my heart. Airi started to walk the road again, where she last saw Maimi.
_____________

so... how was it? My sister was nagging me to make a death fic from the start but I was not in the mood with my first  two fics... but then again, I found it great for Maimi/Airi... sorry... :sweatdrop:

After reading this, I found out its shorter than my former one-shots...  :sweatdrop:
comments please... since I don't know how I just did with this new one... :sweatdrop:

I actually don't know a lot about C-ute at all. :sweatdrop: I guess it's just a lack of interest in them... the only member I like is Chisato, and that's because of her tomboyish personality. I like Berryz as a whole a lot better. But I'm glad just to know everyone now. xD

Here is my 4th fic and last for C-ute's batch for now. While I was doing this fic, I was bothered by so many things I need to do for my mom and now that I continued it, I have a different feeling on this fic. Different than my other fics, so now, I don't know what to expect when you guys read it. It maybe boring but I don't know. If this is not as good as my former ones, I am sorry.  :sweatdrop: And I'm sorry for having lack of knowledge on C-ute. I'll make sure I make a comeback on my Berryz Fics.

Misunderstanding

Saki was staring at space with a smirk on her face as Chisato stares at her with one of her eyebrows slightly up. "Saki..." Chisato called as she went closer to Saki. "Saki-chan..." She called once again while taking a small chair to stand up on. When standing on the small chair made her as tall as Saki, she stares at Saki's eyes while leaning forward. "Saki!" Chisato said again but this time, Saki snapped out from her little world, where ever it was and as she came back, she stares at the eyes that are just a few millimeters from her. Saki quickly jumped back as she realizes how close the both of them were.

"Chisato! Don't surprise me like that." Saki spatted as she looks at Chisato while holding her phone near her chest.

Chisato giggles as she balances herself on the small chair before jumping down. "You were staring at nothing again Saki-chan."

Saki inhales and exhales, calming herself before explaining to Chisato. "Ne, Chisa-chan, she said yes!" Nakajima Saki whispered to Chisato's ear before giving out a smirk to her little companion.

"What? I don't get it... Who is she? And why would she say yes?" Chisato asks before tilting her head sidewards, trying to study her friends aura.

Saki shrugs and gives out a sigh before looking back to her friend that is looking at her in a weird way. "I told you before right? I've been thinking about it for almost a month, you know, Kanna and I are closer than ever before." Chisato nodded as she agrees with Saki.

"So? What about it?" Chisato asks with her other eye brow up.

Saki stares at her unknowing companion then lets out a sigh. "You really don't remember Chisa-chan? I told you this before...my-" Saki paused as she looks at her sides just to make sure that no one is near to hear. "My confession." Saki uttered as softly as Chisato can hear.

Chisato's eyes grew wide as she remembered about that. About Saki-chan's plan of confessing to the one she loves most. "So, Kanna-chan-" Saki hissed at her to make the point of making the tone of her voice lower as to no one could hear. "Kanna-chan said yes to your date?" Chisato continued uttering each word slowly and softly as she can as Saki nodded as a yes.

"Our little date would be two days from now but I have to get prepared." Saki told Chisato as she walks slowly away towards the door and after a few seconds, vanished through the darkness of the corridor.

...the next day

Chisato went to Saki's house just to tell her something she had heard from Maimi and Erika. As Saki closed her bedroom door behind her, Chisato started to tell her but as surprised with the news, Chisato spoke the language she only knows when she is in a surprised mode.

"Chisa-chan, stop and calm yourself for a while. I can't understand what your saying." Saki explained as she holds Chisato and escorts her to her bed to take a seat and she sat beside her. When Chisato finally calmed herself, Saki asked her what she was trying to tell earlier.

"Saki-chan! Bad news!" Chisato started and made Saki back away for a little since she doesn't like bad news. "W-what is it?" Saki asks, nervous of what Chisato will say. Chisato stares at her for a while before gulping to clear her throat. She slowly opens her mouth that made Saki back away a little more. "She...She..." Unable to continue, Chisato looks at Saki with a nervous expression. Chisato quickly leaned forward pressing her lips on the girl beside her.

As Chisato backs away, she could see Saki's face that she feared what her expression was. Saki was surprised on what her friend had done, well to her, she was only a friend but to the other... Saki cleared that thought but it kept bothering her until she realizes Chisato was still there, looking down at her shoes, feeling more nervous on what Saki would say.

Silence echoes inside the room until Saki finally speaks. "Chisa-chan-" Saki started but was stopped when Chisato stood up holding her school bag and said, "I forgot, my mother told me to buy things from the super market." It was a lame excuse but that is all she could think of at that moment since she was frightened on what the other girl will say. She didn't wait for Saki's reply as she walks out of her room and took her leave. Saki stares at the door where Chisato left but the thought of what happened earlier made her blush.

Wait! What is this? Why am I blushing? Saki suddenly asks herself as she covers her mouth trying to figure out. Did I...

...the next day

"Saki-chan! I heard you were going to go to a date today!" Maimi teased as she walks around Saki with Umeda behind her.

"How did you guys know?" Saki asks as she looks at Chisato's way and gives her a glare that made Chisato look down in embarassment.

"Now, now... No need to glare at Chisato, she is not the one who told us. It was Kanna." Erika said since she saw Chisato's reaction.

"Yeah, it was Kanna," Maimi started as she takes a chair and sits beside Saki. "But, didn't Chisato tell you yesterday?" Erika added making Saki turn to her with a confused look.

Before she could ask what it was, the memory of yesterday took over her. Her cheeks started to get red but tried to hide it from the two older girls,  but failed.

"Saki-chan!" Erika gasped. "Why are you turning red?" Maimi added in an interested tone.

Saki's cheeks turned more red as the two got more interested on why she was blushing. "Its nothing..." Saki answered trying to hide the trembling on her voice.

Maimi and Erika huddled up and started debating with their guesses while Saki was still trying to control herself. Stop it Saki. There is no reason for you to blush like this. She told herself but the touch of Chisato's lips from yesterday made her blush more.

When Maimi and Erika finally finished their conversation, they turned to Saki once again. "If this is correct, we'll officially announce it to all other members of C-ute and to our fellow Berryz Koubou." Maimi teased as Saki couldn't get any redder. "Something happened to you and Chisato yesterday, right?" Erika asked as she stares at Saki's face, trying to catch her gaze.

"You could say that..." Saki finally answered flushing as she spoke.

Maimi and Erika put their hands together before telling Saki all their guesses and to her surprise, they were right on everything. "You know what this means Saki-chan..." Maimi started turning her back from her and skipping to the door. "We're gonna tell the others, so get ready for their surprises when they see you." Erika added with a smirk as she followed Maimi out the door.

Trying her best to calm herself down, Chisato finally came up to her. "You should be leaving now Saki-chan." Chisato greeted. "Only 5 minutes left before your date with Kanna-chan." Chisato whispered not wanting to say that but she should. Saki looks at the girl in front of her but before she could say anything, Chisato uttered two words before leaving.

"Good luck."

Saki's gaze followed Chisato out the door but found it disturbing since she thought she saw tears falling from Chisato's eyes. Leaving that thought, she started to get down to the entrance to meet up with Kanna.

Do I think of her as that way? Saki asked herself while going down the stairs. If I do, I should have known about it before since we are best friends and we are always together... Saki added as she walks to the entrance of the building where Kanna was waiting.

"You're late." Kanna greeted with a pout on her face. "Sorry, got caught up with Maimi-chan and Erika-chan's attention." Saki explained as she led Kanna out.

After spending an hour out with Kanna, Saki was again bothered by her feelings for Chisato, when Kanna finally started a conversation. "Don't you think you shouldn't be here?" Kanna asked, snapping Saki out of her blank gaze from afar. "W-what?" Saki replied not understanding what the other girl meant.

Kanna looks at her kind of disappointed on Saki for not responding as she thought she would.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Chisato?" Kanna finally blurted out not wanting to go around the bush anymore. Saki looks at Kanna, surprised on what she heared. "You should be with Chisato right?" Kanna said again, trying to convince Saki to leave and go to Chisato. Knowing Saki won't go immediately, she stands up and pulls Saki to stand up. "Chisato likes you Saki. She likes you more than I do. I'm sorry." Kanna explained as she was still pulling Saki to the direction they were from. "And you like her also more than me." Kanna ended as she stopped and looks at Saki.

Saki, finally realizing what the girl was saying, excused herself and ran towards Chisato's house. Why didn't I realize it before? Kanna wasn't the one that kept my heart beating fast... Saki took a right turn before stopping in front of Chisato's house. She waited for someone to answer the door after she pressed the doorbell. With a warm greeting, Chisato's mother let Saki in and escorted her to Chisato's room which Chisato opened and shut after Saki went in the room.

"Why are you here?" Chisato asks, turning herself to wipe her tears without Saki finding out.

"I'm here because I realized something..." Saki started, walking slowly towards Chisato whose back was turned to her.

"What is it?" Chisato asks before closing her eyes, getting ready for what the other girl would say.

Saki stopped just a few centimeters away from her before saying, "I'm not inlove with Kanna." There came a long pause that Chisato's heart keep racing faster.

"I'm in love with you, Chisato." Saki whispered and as soon as it sipped in Chisato's head, she turned to face Saki but was surprised when Saki leaned forward and kissed her intimately. It didn't take long that Chisato closed her eyes and enjoyed the afternoon with the one she loved that she almost lost.

Here is my 5th One-shot! And a Berryz One! ^_^
When I write Berryz One-Shot, it doesn't take long to think and to write. But when I write C-ute one-shots... I get lost... So I really need to pay more attention to C-ute from now on... (but not as big of attention on Berryz.. XD )
Enjoy! I hope this makes you smile, giggle or even laugh...  :sweatdrop:

Unspoken Feelings

Maasa and Kumai came out of the cinema, Kumai clenched tightly on Maasa's arm. "You were the one who asked for a scary movie, telling me your not going to get scared, and now look." Maasa complained as Kumai held her arm tightly.

"I don't want to die!" Kumai whispered that only Maasa could hear.

Maasa rolls her eyes and leads Kumai in a sushi resto. Making Yurina sit down came hard since Kumai still won't let her go.

"Okay! Look, I'll sit beside you, okay? Just stop holding my arm. I can't feel it anymore." At last, Kumai let go of her arm and at the same time, snapping out of her dark-horror-scary-movie world.

"I'm sorry." Kumai apologized as she looks down at the table, embarassed to look at the older girl.

Giving out a smile, Maasa pats the younger girls back before sitting down beside her. "Its okay Kumai-chan..."

Their sushi arrived and placed in the middle of the table. Maasa was already going to get one when she realizes Kumai hasn't moved nor did she say anything after her apology. Maasa puts down her chopsticks and waits for Kumai to take one.

"Kumai-chan, the food is already here." She says as she looks at Kumai who was getting redder as Maasa kept leaning forward to look at her face.

Not noticing what the younger girl is feeling, Maasa still keeps on moving her head closer to Kumai to look at her face when suddenly, Kumai looks her direction. Frozen on their position, realizing what has just happened, Kumai was the first one who broke out of it and looks more farther away as she can feel her heart beat faster.

Maasa on the other hand, sit still and surveys the area only to find out that almost everyone in the store was looking their way. What an embarassing thing to see... Maasa tolds herself as the people around them goes back to their own matters.

Maasa looks at Kumai once again, finally noticing her red cheeks that made Maasa's redder. Maasa takes her chopsticks, lifting one sushi from the plate then calls Kumai. Kumai responded as she looked at the older girl and saw her holding her chopsticks with a sushi between each stick. Kumai looks at the sushi then to Maasa.

"Ah..." Maasa said as she demonstrates how to open her mouth. Getting what the older girl was saying, she opens her mouth wide enough for the sushi to fit in. As she chews on the sushi the older girl gave her, her cheeks started to get red again but as she looks at the girl beside her, she could see that her cheeks are much more red than hers. Trying not to giggle, she took her chopsticks and also gave one to her senpai.

It didn't take long that they started to get comfortable and they started to chat that seemed not to end but as the last sushi was gone, they fixed themselves before leaving. Outside, they walked by an ice cream store which they didn't intend to just pass by without buying. Kumai got herself strawberry flavored ice cream while Maasa bought plain and simple vanilla.

They once again fell into deep conversations that almost made Kumai leap for joy. I should take this chance... Maasa told herself, now knowing that Kumai is interested on her.

"Kumai-chan..." Maasa started with a serious look that Kumai made fun of but stopped when she realized that Maasa was really serious.

"What is it Maa-chan?" Kumai asks in tilting her head to the side and awaits for the older girl to respond.

Maasa gulped down a little from her cup of water before turning to Kumai. "I was saying earlier that...I have this dream that I want to be true..." Maasa started, trying hard not to panic away.

Kumai, still confused, waits patiently while scooping a teaspoon full of ice cream. "That the one I love would be mine." Maasa still being serious as she plays with the melted vanilla ice cream inside her cup.

"The one I want to be wiith..." Maasa lets go of her spoon and stares at Kumai trying to pass signals to her brain, You Kumai! You! I want you to be mine! but it seems that Kumai couldn't get the message.

"Nevermind... forget about it..." Maasa suddenly said and Kumai looks at her trying to give her the sign to continue but she didn't.

After finishing their sweet treat which Maasa found a little bland since she was still dissapointed that Kumai couldn't tell what she was trying to point out. They ended their little date as soon as they arrived at Kumai's house. They said their goodbye's as Kumai thanked Maasa for the great day.

While walking alone to go home, Maasa wanted to kick herself but can't. "Why can't I still tell her?!" She asked herself in an irritated voice. "Until when should I keep this to myself?" She asked once again and the questions came one after another making herself drowned in her own questions.

"I love you... Is that so hard to say?!" Maasa's last question to herself as she stopped walking and sits down on a bench in front of a wonderful fountain. It's beautiful... I wish Kumai was here to see this...

As she was staring at the falling water on the fountain, she finally jumped up from her sitting position and tells herself, Tomorrow! I'll tell her tomorrow!

Telling herself didn't stop her excitement that she stands on the bench, raising both her hands up. "TOMORROW! TOMORROW I'll TELL KUMAI YURINA THAT I LIKE HER!"

After realizing that she was not alone, she looks around seeing the people staring at her. She smiles at the people and gets down the bench, making her cheeks turn red because of embarrassment. What an embarassing thing to see...

As she started to walk away, a tall girl was giggling at the other side of the fountain. So I know what to expect tomorrow... Kumai uttered as she giggled again as she walks home with the funny Maasa in her head.

Kidnapped

“WTH?” Maimi shouted as she entered the room, what could be inside? Maimi only shouts that word when she sees two people kissing.

“Ewww…” Momoko exclaimed, as she was the second one to enter. Okay, there must be something in there that is not appropriate for our age.

“What? What?” Chisato asked, entering the door after Momo, “AAAHHHHH! MY EYES!”

I fidgeted as I get nearer and nearer to that girl-eating room, which has something bad inside. One…two… three… four… five… There are still five persons before me.

I froze as I felt a tug on my shirt from behind. It couldn’t be, right? The one who is behind me is not a ghost, zombie, or any other being that will lead me to death, right?
I slowly turned my head but before I could see the beings face, it grabbed my hand and it made me jump, “AAAHHHH!!!! No! Don’t take me to hell! Please! I’m too young to die!”

I curled myself on a corner, near a desk just a few meters away from where I was standing. Please make it go away! I’m still too young to die! I can’t die! Who will take care of Risako?

I heard footsteps getting nearer, as I curled up more, Please Kami-sama! If you want to take someone, please take Maimi! She’s mean, a bad influence and a perv; please take her instead of me!

I awaited for the unknown being to hold me when I heard a familiar voice, “Miya, are you going to stay there and scare your wits out, or do you want to comfort Risako?”

When the voice said Risako, I opened my eyes, revealing a small figure with its hands placed on her hips. “Well?” the girl asked again.

“What?” I asked as a reply, my vision starting to clear and it was only Captain.

“You scared Risako when you shouted loudly as she tried to cling to you.” Saki answered as she raised one of her brows and gives out a smirk.

I didn’t wait for her to tell me again for the third time, cause when I do, I’ll get my butt kicked. I walked back to the line as Captain followed. Risako was now clinging to Chinami, which I think was a bad idea, since Chinami is holding Maasa.

I took both her hands and pulled her close, letting her hug me tightly as we looked at the door in front. The door opened, revealing the butler, “Next please.”

I stepped backward and Risako followed, leaving Captain, Maasa and Chinami in front. Maasa can’t go in yet since Chinami is still holding her, I can’t since Risako is holding me. I turned to Captain and she looked back, “Fine, I’ll go.”
She went in, letting the butler close the door. I waited for a reaction, but it appears Captain is okay.

“Ahhh!” Okay, I guess not.

“Maimi! Don’t do that again!” I heard Captain shouting at someone who appears to be Maimi. Man, what could have Maimi done to make Captain shout.

The door opened again, revealing the butler who signaled Maasa and Chinami to come inside. When the door closed, we heard continuous banging on the door, “Let me out! Please! Let me out! I can’t take the view! Let me out!”

“Chi-chan! Stop it! Just close your eyes and I’ll take you to your seat.” A low voice uttered, then the banging stopped. I guess Maasa took care of Chinami.

Realizing it was already going to be our turn, Risako held my hand tightly, “Miya, I’m scared,” I placed my hand under her chin, tilted it upward, before giving her a kiss. I held it there for a while, enjoying the tender feeling when someone cleared his throat. We both looked at the direction of the sound and found the butler standing in front of the door.

“Please enter, we can’t let the masters wait.” He explained before opening the door for the both of us.

I turned to Risako again, “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you from anything.” I tried to sound brave but inside, I really don’t know what to do.

We finally entered the room, and truthfully, what we first saw wasn’t appropriate for our age. I sighed as I led Risako to the vacant seats beside Chinami.

***Earlier that day***

“Where do you want to eat?” I asked Risako, while waiting for her to finish placing her things in her locker.

“Anywhere you want.” She answered, “It’s hard to find anywhere, Risako.” I sighed, leaning on the locker beside hers, I started to think where that anywhere eatery could be seen.

“What about the eatery of MaiMai’s parents?” I suggested, trying to remember where that place is.

She finally closed her locker and turned to look at me, “That is a great place! I haven’t been there for a long time now.”

“Then, that’s where we’ll go,” I held her hand, and our fingers intertwined.

As we turned right in an intersection, the school wasn’t visible anymore, and we were glad to be out that prison. We stopped in front of an orange colored shop, with a big sign saying, MaiMai’s Yummy Palace. I stood there, staring at the sign, still can’t figure out why it was named as MaiMai’s Yummy Palace.

“Let’s go inside,” Risako told me, as I nodded.

We were about to enter when three girls in black suits came out of the shop, one carrying MaiMai, and the other two grabbed both Risako and me. We tried to break free but before we could, we were already pushed inside the big limo.

We tried the doors but it was locked from outside, “Help! Help us!” I heard MaiMai screaming at the people outside but it seems they can’t hear her. Risako was about to cry, when I held her close, “It’s going to be alright, I’m here.”

I caressed Risako’s cheek and before I could do anything else, she leaned in, closing the gap between us. I can’t resist Risako’s kisses, I just can’t. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer, as I stay lip locked with her. We forgot about what was happening and was enjoying kissing each other when a voice stopped us.

“What are you two doing at a time like this? And just to let both of you know, what you’re doing is inappropriate for my age.” MaiMai glared at the both of us, but she was right, we shouldn’t be making out when we are being kidnapped, and MaiMai is still not in the appropriate age to see what she just saw.

“We’re sorry MaiMai, we will focus from now on.” I smiled crookedly as I slowly scratched the back of my neck.

We tried to contact the other Berryz and C-ute, but no one is answering their phones. I was just about to dial Captain’s number when one of the girls in black suits looked at us, “We’re arriving at the HQ.”

HQ? What HQ? It didn’t take long when the car stopped and the three girls dragged us up to the hallway, where we saw the others.

The three women in black entered a huge door, what could be inside?

“Excuse me my masters, but all of the girls are already here. Will I send them in?”
***Present time***

I rolled my eyes while seeing the others reaction on what they were staring at.

“What is the real reason for us to be abducted here?” Kanna asked in an irritated tone.

“Are we kidnapped just to see this?” Yurina asked while covering Chinami’s eyes.

“Well, someone’s enjoying it!” Airi sighed as she looked at Maimi whose chin was resting on her hand.

Being beside Maimi, Saki hits Maimi’s arm, letting her come back to reality.

“Stop staring!” Saki started as she examines the taller girls face. Captain, why are you messing with Maimi? You don’t know what that girl is thinking.

Well, being one of the closest friends of Maimi, I know what goes on in that brain of hers. I just can’t tell Captain how that pervy Maimi imagines her.

“You’re imagining too much again!” Saki stated as she hits Maimi again.

Maimi gave out a grin and leans over to Captain, their lips near touching, “Yes, and I like how great you were doing it with me.”

Can’t control her blush, Saki pulled back and hits Maimi on the head, “S-stop including me in your imaginations!”

I gave out a sigh. I thought Captain would fall for that Maimi’s temptation.

I looked at Risako, who was holding the hem of her skirt. I took hold of both of her hands and smiled at her.

I was about to ask Risako how she was doing, when MaiMai shouted, “FINALLY!”

We both looked in front, seeing the two people finally finished their session.

“Why are you guys so noisy?” the shorter girl exclaimed, standing straight from sitting down at the others lap.

Both of them, the butler and the Women in black called Masters, finally turned their attention to us. As they stepped out of the dimmed part of the room and into the lighted part, the girls gasped as they saw who were the culprits on kidnapping them, and making them watch the most nerve wrecking scene.

The taller girl stepped forward, glaring at everyone, “Why? Haven’t seen me and Ai kiss?” Risa asked, laughing hysterically at us.

I held it there for a while, enjoying the tender feeling when someone cleared his throat. We both looked at the direction of the sound and found the butler standing in front of the door.
oops sorry

Quote
I turned to Risako again, “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you from anything.” I tried to sound brave but inside, I really don’t know what to do.
:on shady:

Quote
We finally entered the room, and truthfully, what we first saw wasn’t appropriate for our age. I sighed as I led Risako to the vacant seats beside Chinami.
*sigh*

Quote
We stopped in front of an orange colored shop, with a big sign saying, MaiMai’s Yummy Palace. I stood there, staring at the sign, still can’t figure out why it was named as MaiMai’s Yummy Palace.
LOL MaiMai's Yummy Palace LOL  :hiakhiakhiak:

Quote
We were about to enter when three girls in black suits came out of the shop, one carrying MaiMai, and the other two grabbed both Risako and me. We tried to break free but before we could, we were already pushed inside the big limo.

We tried the doors but it was locked from outside, “Help! Help us!” I heard MaiMai screaming at the people outside but it seems they can’t hear her. Risako was about to cry, when I held her close, “It’s going to be alright, I’m here.”
:scared: :scared:

Quote
I caressed Risako’s cheek and before I could do anything else, she leaned in, closing the gap between us. I can’t resist Risako’s kisses, I just can’t. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer, as I stay lip locked with her. We forgot about what was happening and was enjoying kissing each other when a voice stopped us.
Me can't resist Risako as usual ....

Quote
“What are you two doing at a time like this? And just to let both of you know, what you’re doing is inappropriate for my age.” MaiMai glared at the both of us, but she was right, we shouldn’t be making out when we are being kidnapped, and MaiMai is still not in the appropriate age to see what she just saw.

“We’re sorry MaiMai, we will focus from now on.” I smiled crookedly as I slowly scratched the back of my neck.
Sorry MaiMai, somehow we forgot you are here ..... LOL

Quote
I rolled my eyes while seeing the others reaction on what they were staring at.

“What is the real reason for us to be abducted here?” Kanna asked in an irritated tone.

“Are we kidnapped just to see this?” Yurina asked while covering Chinami’s eyes.
everyone is pissed ....

Quote
“Well, someone’s enjoying it!” Airi sighed as she looked at Maimi whose chin was resting on her hand.
ok, not everyone is pissed ... Maimi is actually enjoying ....

Quote

:on bleed: :on bleed: :on bleed: :on bleed: :on bleed: :on bleed: OMG

Quote
Can’t control her blush, Saki pulled back and hits Maimi on the head, “S-stop including me in your imaginations!”

I gave out a sigh. I thought Captain would fall for that Maimi’s temptation.
ok since my "thought" didn't happened,  my nosebleed stopped .... yep Captain has self control ... that's why she is the Captain.

Quote
I looked at Risako, who was holding the hem of her skirt. I took hold of both of her hands and smiled at her.
Risako.... the nosebleed means nothing ....

Quote
I was about to ask Risako how she was doing, when MaiMai shouted, “FINALLY!”
FINALLY !!

Quote
We both looked in front, seeing the two people finally finished their session.

“Why are you guys so noisy?” the shorter girl exclaimed, standing straight from sitting down at the others lap.

Both of them, the butler and the Women in black called Masters, finally turned their attention to us. As they stepped out of the dimmed part of the room and into the lighted part, the girls gasped as they saw who were the culprits on kidnapping them, and making them watch the most nerve wrecking scene.

The taller girl stepped forward, glaring at everyone, “Why? Haven’t seen me and Ai kiss?” Risa asked, laughing hysterically at us.
wait a minute ... why I sighed when I saw this ... I should have nosebleed like usually .... hmmm .... *look at Risako* ... ehm... ok

why the hell Takahashi-san and Niigaki-san kidnapped us and forced us to see that .... well, that's the only way to "get" us to watch ...

wait a minute, didn't me and Risako kinda "forced" MaiMai to watch us too ..... sorry MaiMai ....

Great one-shot! It's weird reading one of your stories that doesn't mention SakixMiyabi
This is my favourite part:

Great One-shot!  :twothumbs

It's been a while since I posted here!
Btw, this one-shot is not Kids... sorry..  :sweatdrop:

The Flirt

I was walking on the corridors as people, particularly guys, kept looking at me. In times like this, I want to ask them what their problem is…but, I already know.

“The flirt is here.” One whispered loudly for me to hear.

“I wonder if she’ll flirt with my girlfriend again today.” Another one whispered on my left.

I’m trying hard to ignore them. So what if I was flirting with her girlfriend? As if I’ll get her from him. I nudged my bag up on my shoulders, as I entered the classroom sighing. The room is noisy as usual. The girls kept on sharing useless rumors, sharing their love lives, putting on make-up and some are just talking with their friends. I hate noisy places, but this room is different. I feel safe whenever I’m in here. I placed my bag on the hook of my desk before throwing myself on the chair. My boots hit the top of my desk, as I fold my arms and staring out the window, losing myself on my thoughts. I don’t wear the girl’s uniform because I hate it. Instead, the principal agreed for me to use the boy’s uniform. Maybe having a father as the principal in your school has some advantage to it.

The door slides open, the school basketball teams vice captain came in, stomping his way towards me. Him again…

“Yamada!” He exclaimed, trying to get my attention.

“What?” I asked, glaring at him.

“Don’t you dare flirt with her! I’m warning you.” He threatened, but it didn’t hit me in anyway. I wasn’t afraid of him.

I can feel all eyes were on us. He’s making a scene again. Ever since the rumor of me, liking the girl he likes came out, he kept on coming every now and then. Threatening me not to flirt with her.

“What are you? Her boyfriend?” I answered, letting out a smirk.

He was silent. I guess I hit a nerve. I kept my smirk, as I can see him trembling and balling his fists. To tell the truth, I don’t like that girl. She’s way too tall for me, and she’s just so unattractive. I just flirted with her to get me out of trouble a couple of times. My friends often tell me that I flirt just to get what I want. Well, my friends were right. I’m flirting just to get me out of trouble or to get what I want. Now I see myself as a player. Oh well…

“Just don’t flirt with her!” He yelled once again, before storming out of the room. I rolled my eyes, going back to where I was staring before.

Now, thinking about it. I have flirted with every girl in this school, except for…

The door opened, revealing the two most popular girls in school. Reina and Aika… I whispered as I locked my gaze at them, laughing their way to their seats. Reina’s seat is on the same row as mine, while Aika’s was behind hers.

I have flirted with everyone, except her… I stared at the girl Reina was talking to. Aika Mistui…

I felt my heart change its pace as she bent down, I gulped, trying to stop myself from looking. I can’t! I kept on staring at her, even if knowing that it’s bad to stare. Why is it every time I see her, my heart changes its pace? Why do I keep trying to be a good girl when she is around? Why can’t I get myself to flirt with her?

I kept asking these questions inside my head, but only one answer kept coming out. You love her damn it!

Fine! I do! So what? She won’t love a flirt! I answered back. I admit. I love her, but I can’t get myself to tell. It’s because, I was afraid. I’m afraid that she’ll reject me.

For crying out loud Rei! For all the things you could be afraid of, you get yourself scared by only that girl!

I was still staring at her, when she looked at me. Our eyes met, I didn’t know what to do. She gave out a smile as I could feel my heart beat faster. I was about to smile when I realized I couldn’t. I rolled my eyes instead and went back to looking out the window.

Rei! You’re pathetic! You should have at least smiled for once! I sighed while trying to make myself comfortable in my seat again. I wanted to, but I just can’t.

***Lunch Break***

I wonder what she is doing… “Aika!” I jumped out of the chair, surprised by the sudden call of my name.

“Aika. I’m sorry, but you weren’t listening again.” Reina explained, helping me to sit down again.

“I’m sorry… I was just thinking of something.” I answered, trying to hide the slight blush.

She looked at me, with those teasing eyes, as she let out a smirk, “You’re thinking about her again, right?” The slight blush worsened, I was all red. I shook my head before hitting Reina.

“No!” I answered, before fixing my gaze on the food in front of me.

I heard her sigh as she hooked her arm around my neck, “Look. Don’t dream on that flirt. You’ll just get hurt.”

“I don’t like her. She just amuses me.” I answered timidly, while playing with the left over sauce on my bowl.

She pulled me close, hugging me from the side, “But did you know? You are the only one she hasn’t flirted yet.” I looked at her confused. I’m the only one she hasn’t flirted with?

“Me? But I thought you haven’t yet?” I asked, as she held the back of her neck, “I haven’t…”

“Then, why do you say I’m the only one she hadn’t flirted with?” I was getting confused, why did Reina say that I’m the only one, when she just said she hasn’t also.

“I was the one who flirted with her.” She answered, giving out a forced laugh, before tapping my back.

I glared at her as she started to laugh on my expression. Why would she flirt with her? She knows I’m feeling something for Rei. I just can’t figure out what it is… I need air.[/B]

I left Reina in the room, still laughing at me while I went straight to the rooftop. I opened the door, and stepped out, letting out a loud sigh.

“Why am I the only one she hasn’t flirted with?” I complained, shouting each word out.

“Because she couldn’t.” I froze, realizing who’s voice just answered me. I slowly looked back, seeing Rei kicking the door to a close.

***

“Because she couldn’t.” I answered, kicking the door to a close, I don’t want anyone seeing me talking with her. I turned to her, seeing her scared face. I walked closer, my footsteps echoing, as my boots hit the floor. I kept walking closer as she stepped backward every time. She reached the end the wall, leaning on it as I get closer. I stopped as I was so close, her uniform, already touching mine. I can see her trembling, as I stare at her face.

“W-why?” She asked, turning her face away. I tried not to run away, as I did once in the comfort room and another one at the classroom during after school cleaning.

I leaned closer to her ear, as I whispered the lame reason I could think of, “Cause she thinks you’re special. So she doesn’t want to touch you.” I answered, as I was running around screaming in my head.

She turned her head, making her lips touch mine accidentally. I froze. I wish this won’t end, but it did when she looked away. I stared at her, seeing her cheeks grew red. I loved this situation, but it surprised me she didn’t push me and run away when our lips touched.

This is the time! Tell her Rei! Now!

“Why do you say I’m special?” She asked, as she played with the end of her blouse.

Say it now!

“Cause…” I gently held her chin, tilting it up, as her eyes met mine, “I love you, Aika.” I leaned in, closing the gap between us. My hands explored her body, her curves, as we kept kissing. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer, as her arms wrapped around my neck.

I didn’t expect this to happen. I’m sharing my feelings with the one I thought wouldn’t be mine. We stopped, breathing heavily as we start to catch some air. I kissed her forehead then pulled her close.

I guess I should just pretend this didn’t happen. Wait…why? I kissed her head, before answering my own question. We aren’t meant for each other…

She looked at me as the bell rang. Lunch is finished, and class will start soon. I let out a small smile, before letting her go. I started to walk back to the door, not waiting for her to follow.

I guess, that’s it. I told myself, opening the door. I felt a grip on my hand as I was about to step inside. I looked back, seeing Aika looking at me with a worried face.

“What?” I asked, trying to bring back my Yankee style of talking.

“Is that it?” She asked back. I can’t stand that look. Please, just go back to your happy, carefree look…

I nodded before trying to walk away, but she tugged my hand, not wanting me to go. I stopped, looking at her again.

“I’m a flirt Aika. You’re one of the popular girls in school. We don’t belong to the same kind.” I looked down, as I gulped, before looking back at her, “We aren’t meant for each other.”

With that, she let go of my hand, as I went back to class. It seems the teacher isn’t here, but it’s self-study time. I sighed, before throwing myself again on my seat, placing my feet on top of my desk. I found myself staring at the front, lost on my thoughts again, as I remember Aika’s touch, her scent, her taste, her lips. Those lips. I want to taste them once more, but I know I won’t anymore. I scanned the room, Aika hasn’t arrived yet, and Reina was getting worried. She was staring at the door for sometime now, not doing the activity on the board. I rolled my eyes and went back looking at the front, reading the activity we need to finish for this class.

I’ll do that later. We’ll be passing that tomorrow anyway. I said to myself, folding my arms again, getting ready to take a nap. I heard the door open and I guess it was Aika who came in, since Reina started to squeal.

“Aika, I was so worried, where did you go?” Reina asked, following Aika towards where she was headed. Aika kept quiet, “Aika, where are you going? You passed your seat a while ago.”

I tried not to look wherever she was headed. I just looked at my boots, seeing some dust on a part of it. I’ll clean that later. I told myself, as Aika stopped beside my desk.

What now?

I looked her way, but was surprised as I felt her lips on mine. As I was caught off guard, my eyes were open, and I can see Reina and the others staring at us. She backed away slightly, looking at my eyes, “Who said we are not meant for each other?” I didn’t know what to answer, the display she just did shocked me more than the others.

“The important thing is…we love each other” I gulped, trying to get all of this in my head. I can’t keep up, “I love you Rei Yamada.” She ended the issue, as she leaned in once more, locking her lips unto mine, as I kissed her back.

She’s right…

I pulled her close, kissing her deeper as she kissed back once more. Applause came coming after, as we stopped and looked around.

I guess everyone agrees with her too.
Title: Re: Marry Me Part 1 [SakiMiya One-Shot] *Updated 12/02*
Post by: panickofpain on December 02, 2009, 07:21:42 AM
I decided to do a one-shot! Yay! For so long I didn't write, I finally had the motivation to do a Two-shot. Okay, my sister and me calls a one-shot with two parts as TWO-SHOT. XD So I'll be posting Part one of the one-shot. Hope you guys like it. XD

-----------------

Marry Me [Part 1]

“I won’t marry you Saki!”

The thunder roared as the rain continued to pour. I slipped my hand in my jacket’s pocket as I turned the volume of my mp3 player up.

“I won’t help you with this. I’m sorry, Saki.”

I continued to walk under the rain with only my jacket and its hood to protect me from getting wet and cold. With the high volume playing in my ear, I thought it would stop me from thinking, but I was wrong. It just made me think more.

I stopped in front of the bookstore to get myself out of the rain. I leaned on the wall with both my hands in my jacket’s pockets. To avoid the eyes of people walking along, I looked down, staring at the dry part of the pavement. I tried to make myself comfortable before taking my phone out to look at the time.

“Just four in the afternoon, but father would get mad if I come home late. I better go home.” I whispered to myself. I let out a sigh before standing straight and also to fix my jacket. Before walking back, I looked at my right. It became a habit to do so and in my surprise, I froze. I didn’t expect to see her here and at this time.

I could see her staring back at me with her eyes wide open. I didn’t know what to do but then, I saw her smile. Seeing her smile made me warm inside. I couldn’t feel the dampness of my pants and the cold feeling it was giving me. She closed her cute pinkish umbrella and walked closer towards me.

“Saki, what are you doing here? And you didn’t bring an umbrella! Look, your pants are wet!” The girl told me as she crouched down to look at my pants. “I always told you to bring an umbrella. Not only your jacket.”

She should stop telling me these. “It’s fine Miya. I’m more comfortable with only my jacket.” If she doesn’t, it would just get harder.

She was not convinced on me saying its fine without an umbrella and started to tell me her usual things about bringing one. I couldn’t stop her from talking so I just smiled and stared at her cute face as she continued her lecture.

“I care about you Saki. So please promise me that you’ll bring an umbrella next time? I wouldn’t want you to get sick.”

My smile faded as I heard her say that and it made me think. If only I had the guts to tell her. If only it was easy to tell her not to care and say things like that. It would make things easier.

I just looked at her and regained my smile, “Mhm. I’ll bring an umbrella next time. I promise.”

With that, her worried face faded and a smile took its place. She looked at her watch as she then bid me goodbye. “I’m sorry Saki. I can’t stay any longer. Risako would get upset when I’m late.”

I nodded and said farewell as I watched her open her umbrella and hurriedly walked away. Vanishing as she took a turn at the end of the walk, I put on my earphones again as I started to walk back home.

“I’m sorry Saki. I can’t stay any longer. Risako would get upset when I’m late.”

I couldn’t get that phrase out of my head. I’m happy for Miya that she has Risako. She loves her and there is nothing I could do about it. I just wish I wouldn’t get affected by it. I could see that Miya is happy with Risako, and with that, I won’t get in between. At least, not anymore..

I walked towards the front door and as I opened it, I found two shoes that I wasn’t familiar with. I closed the door and took off my rubber shoes. I peeked in our living room and saw my parents sitting down on our sofa as another couple sat adjacent to them.

“I’m sorry that my son is not here. He promised to come with us but instead, his company called. He was being called for a meeting but he said he would come as soon as the meeting is over.”

The man apologized as my parents told him it was fine. “It’s okay. We also apologize for our daughter is not home too.”

I tried to creep slowly and carefully not to get noticed but then, I heard my moms’ voice calling me. I can’t disobey her and it would be rude since we have visitors. I turned and walked towards my parents and they let me sit between them.

“Ah! It’s good that you came home Saki. We want you to be present as we plan the wedding.”

I took a peek at my father as I forced a smile. My mom held my hand, whispering near my ear - telling me not to get nervous. I just nodded and listened as they continued to plan the wedding - my wedding.

I was getting tired of listening. I didn’t want any of this. I don’t want to get married. If the person I would be bound eternity to would not be Miya, then, I wouldn’t want to get married. I looked at the parents of my so-called, fiancé, and I couldn’t even stare at them for long. It’s not that I don’t like them. They had been our family friend since I was small but then, I don’t want to hurt them.

A knock on the door was then heard and my mom stood up to see who came. I waited for her to come back and as she went in, a boy followed her with a smile on his face. I knew who he was. He was a good friend but I couldn’t see him as my husband.

“Mr. and Mrs. Shimizu, you have met my son before. But let him introduce himself again.”

“Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Shimizu, I’m Daiki. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

The guy bowed down after he introduced himself and my parents couldn’t stop smiling at him.

“It’s nice to meet you again Daiki. You met our daughter, Saki.” My father turned to me and I knew what he meant. I stood up slowly and introduced myself. And as I looked at Daiki’s eyes, I knew even with his smile, he too didn’t want this.

---------

A few days later, Berryz were called to H!P. Tsunku wanted to discuss about the new single he wanted Berryz to release. As I entered the meeting room, Momo, Kumai, Maasa and Miya were already there. I took a deep breath and greeted everyone good morning. They replied in unison and while I was fixing my seat, Momo jumped beside me.

“Ka-pu-ten! How are you?”

“I’m fine Momo. Why?”
I asked as I chuckled a little before sitting down.

“Eh. That’s good! Well, it’s because you haven’t been talking to us and we thought something is wrong. It’s unusual for you not to check on us.” Momo explained as the others agreed.

I scanned their faces before looking back at Momo. “I’m fine, really. There’s nothing wrong. I just got busy these days. I’m sorry for making you all worry.”

With my answer, Momo tapped my back and walked back to Yurina and Maasa. I on the other hand took out my phone to see if there were any new messages but there were none. The attention I was giving my phone was stopped when I felt a tap on my shoulder. As I looked, Miya was beside me. She smiled and asked me to come with her to the comfort room. Without any reason to say no, I closed my phone and followed her.

In the comfort room, I was looking at myself on the mirror and was fixing my hair when Miya stood beside me. I could see she had something in her mind. Her smile was not there anymore.

“Miya? Are you okay?” I asked as I then turned to face her. She looked down as if thinking of what to say.

“Saki..” I heard her whisper.

“Mh?” I responded, not knowing what she was thinking.

“Are you really okay?” She asked as she looked back at me. At first, I couldn’t think of what to say. I knew that if we were alone and if she felt something was really wrong, she’ll ask and in the end, I would eventually tell her. I’m too honest around her. Even if I shouldn’t be telling her, she always gets to know in the end.

I smiled lightly and nodded, “Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry. If there is, I would tell you.”
She still didn’t look convinced as she then took my hand and I could feel she was shaking.

“Is this about that?” She asked and I was confused.

“What do you mean?” I asked back, pretending not to know where this was going.

She bit her lower lip before answering my question, “You know I can’t marry you Saki. I have a girlfriend and I love her. I do love you too, but not as how I love Risako. I’m sorry.”

After hearing what she meant, a picture of what happened a few days ago started to cloud my mind.

“Miya!”

“Yeah?”

I paused, thinking of what to say next until I heard her speak.

“What’s up?”

I looked away for a little while, gulping down my nervousness and trying to stop my shaking. With what I wanted to ask in mind, I finally looked back at her with the little guts I have and started to make things serious.

“Miya, I need your help. Please, help me.” I pleaded. I could see her puzzled face as she stared at me with worry starting to take over.

“What is it? What happened?” She asked as she took a step closer. I didn’t know what or how to explain. I don’t want her to know I was getting married - married to someone I don’t even love.

“Marry me, Miya.” I told her in a desperate attempt to not explain and just get out of this problem without thinking of what might happen. I just need to get away.

“What?” She asked in a confused tone. “You want me to marry you?”

I nodded as an answer. I know it’s too much, but if I would get married, I want to be married to someone I love. I want to marry Miya.

“No.” I heard her whisper. “I can’t marry you, Saki.”

I looked at her as I felt my eyes starting to water. I slowly took her hand and held it tightly. “Please Miya. Marry me. It would just be for a little while. We could get divorced..”

“No!”

I was taken a back. My grip went loose and her hand slipped down.

“I won’t marry you Saki!” She let out a sigh before looking away. I felt my cheeks getting wet and my eyes started to close on me.

“I won’t help you with this. I’m sorry, Saki.”

What she told me made me take my hand away from her. Who wouldn’t get hurt when someone you love told you something like that, but then, that’s not what really the problem was. I’m not ready to tell my friends about what really there is, but I need to tell Miya, now.

“I know. You told me days ago and I understood. But that is not what’s bothering me.” I started as I could tell she was confused.

“What? You mean it’s not about that?” I shook my head before looking back at her.

“Miya, I’m getting married with someone else.”

She took a step back as she heard what I said. I laughed a little just to stop myself from getting teary. “I didn’t know how to tell all of you, because I don’t know what you guys might think.”

I smiled while fixing myself, “I know, it’s shocking and unexpected, but let’s talk about this another time. Okay? The meeting would start soon. We shouldn’t be late.” I let out a small smile before leading the way back to the meeting room. I sat down away from Miya. I knew I got away from explaining this time, but when she gets back to herself, sooner or later, she’ll want to talk about it again. I should get ready.

After the meeting, I bid everyone goodbye and walked out of the room. As soon as I had a little distance from the door, I heard someone call my name. I looked back and it was Miya. I started to tell my feet to move but it wouldn’t. I don’t want to talk about the wedding, not that it’s something new, it’s just I still can’t discuss it with Miya.

“Saki, let’s go.”

“Where?”

“Hmmm, somewhere to eat?”

I looked at her a little confused. “..Okay”

I couldn’t say no, but it’s unexpected. It’s been a long time since Miya and I went out together. Not really a date but just going around places to eat or go window-shopping.

She felt that I was being a little distant as I’m walking behind her. She stopped and the next thing I saw was her hand, reaching out for mine. I reluctantly took it and she just smiled. We walked together, side by side and hand in hand. I let her lead me to wherever we were going and she led me to the park.

“What are we doing here?” I asked since I didn’t know why we were in the park.

“It’s peaceful here.” Miya answered as she sat down on one of the swings.

I sat on the swing beside hers as I placed my bag down. I then took hold of both chains of the swing and continued to be quiet.

“Saki, why don’t we go to Okinawa?”

I was unsure of what I just heard so I asked, “What? To Okinawa?”

She nodded with a huge smile on her face. “Yes. We’ll stay there for the weekend. I already booked a place to stay.”

I couldn’t believe what she was saying. Why would she invite me to Okinawa?

“Why?” I asked, not really getting what is happening.

“Well, I planned to go with Risako but, she had a scheduled photo shoot for the weekend. It would be a waste if I don’t go to this trip. I mean, I already paid for the accommodations and all other things needed.”

I looked away, nodding as I heard her explanation. Now, I don’t know if I should go.

“So, are you coming?”

I looked at her, letting out a smile, “Sure. I’ll come with you.”

I saw her jump off the swing with a huge smile on her face. She looked so gorgeous. I wish I could see her often like this. I wish, I could see her smiling like this, even after my wedding.

“Okay, so I’ll pick you up tomorrow at eight in the morning?”

I took my bag and stood up, taking a step beside her. “Yes. Tomorrow. Eight in the morning. Don’t be late.” I teased before letting out a giggle.

She laughed, “Of course. I won’t be late.”

With that, she walked me home, her hand holding mine and my heart beating fast. I wish, Miya wouldn’t let go of my hand, ever again.

Hope you enjoyed the part one and would want to read part two. <3

BTW! Please don't make violent reactions about me partnering (in a little bit) Daiki with Saki in this fic. You'll see what happens to him in part three, okay?

Let's see, I thought this fic would only be in two parts but now, since I'm writing it already, I need to cut it into three parts. And so... so sorry, I will still be writing the part 3 and I promise, that would be the last part of this supposed to be one-shot. ^^;

Uhm, another thing. Pardon me for this part. I think it is quite confusing... If you guys are not satisfied with it, please tell me and so I could improve on my next fic (if ever there is another one coming). Thank you. :D

Ah, last thing. This part is very long. and I think part 3 would just be short since that is the ending. XD

Oh... very last thing. I suggest you listen to a sad song while you read everything. :D Oh, not only a sad song but a song that means letting that person go so that he/she would live life as he/she wanted to. (The song has nothing to do with the fic. It is just that that's what I was doing while writing it. XD )

Marry Me [Part 2]

Taking the last step down the stairs, I went directly to the kitchen without knowing what to do once I’m there. I got accustomed on going there directly every morning to get a glass of milk and a piece of white bread to go with it. It’s a little light breakfast for someone who works as a singer and dancer at Hello!Project – well known for its intense practices – but with little time every morning, I can’t stay and wait for mom to wake up and for her to finish cooking. With my backpack still at hand, I placed it on the table and went to get myself a glass of milk, as usual. As I took a sip of milk, I glanced at the clock and it was just thirty-minutes past six in the morning.

“It’s still this early?” I whispered. It was a little surprised that I woke up earlier than planned. I sat on one of the chairs near the table and thought of what made me stay up late last night and not even letting me sleep. “It’s all Miya’s fault…” I took another sip before placing the empty glass down on the table. “Good morning Saki!” A voice greeted and it made me jump slightly off my seat. Looking at the too familiar person who just walked in, I smiled at her as she also did to me. “Good morning.” I replied as she put on her apron and approached the refrigerator to get the ingredients she needed for cooking breakfast.

I stayed at the kitchen for a while, still finishing my milk while waiting for Miya to come. After glancing at the clock again as I thought when Miya would come, a tune my mom was humming made me at ease and even made me smile. I closed my eyes and remembered one of the special memories I had years ago. Sakura no Shiori…

I was in the midst of reminiscing when the doorbell rang and my mom asked me to get it. It was just a little after seven and I thought it was already Miya. “She’s early.” I told myself in disbelief. Before opening the door, I fixed myself and straightened my clothes. I took a deep breath before turning the knob. I smiled once I opened it and took a peek on who was on the other side. Upon seeing the person, the smile slowly faded but I tried to keep it for a little while as I asked the person to come in. “Daiki.. What made you come and visit?” I asked in disbelief that Daiki was the one who came and not Miya. He greeted my mom first before answering my question. “I heard you were going for a trip this weekend.” I was surprised. No one knew I was going to a trip this weekend. I turned to my mom and she sighed, “It was your father. He actually wanted Daiki to come with you.”

“What?” Was the only thing I said as a reaction to the idea. I looked back at Daiki and said my apologies for being rude. “It’s just that, I’m going with a close friend and it has been a long time since we last went out together.” I bit my lower lip with the excuse I gave but it was a trip that I really want to spend alone with Miya. “You understand, right?” I was surprised when he just laughed. “I know and I understand. I actually don’t want to interfere with your business with friends. I just came to see you off.”

I continued on staring at him with confusion running around in my mind. My dad was so good on talking to people that he could easily control them, but why didn’t it work with Daiki? I was still trying to figure it out when another knock on the front door came. It was already forty minutes past seven and now I’m sure it was Miya. True enough, as I opened the door, Miya was standing in front of me. “Hey!” She greeted and I replied with a smile. I invited her to come in even just for a little while since the cab was already waiting for us outside.

Mom greeted Miya with a warm welcome since it had been months since she last came by. “I hope the two of you would have fun in Okinawa.” Miya smiled, “We will. I’ll make sure we will.” After hearing Miya say that, she looked at me with her usual smile but it seemed like something was behind it. Something that made me eager to go to the trip and find out but before I could even imagine what it was, a cough came from behind me and I was surprised. “Ah, Miya, this is Daiki. Daiki, this is Miya. The close friend I was telling you about.” I introduced as I watched them greet each other. “Don’t worry about Saki. I’ll be sure to take care of her.” Miya assured him though Daiki was not afraid of that. “I know you will. But if ever I see her hurt when she gets back, you’ll be dead.” He told her with a laugh at the end. Miya laughed as well but the cab driver was already in a hurry for he feared traffic would befall us when we stay longer. With a couple of beeps, I took my backpack on the floor and swung it to my side but Daiki took it while I was off guard and held on to it while we walk to the cab. I was a little embarrassed for a little while since no one had done that for me for a while now. The last time I could remember was the summer two years ago; when Miya was still in love with me.

I said my last goodbyes’ to my mom and to Daiki before we really left. In the cab, Miya was letting me see the place we were going to stay at and the places we were going. “We’ll be staying here.” As she pointed one of the specific hotel from the general Terrace Hotels brochure, “Busena Terrace? (http://"http://www.terrace.co.jp/movie/index.html")” I whispered and hearing it, she nodded. I looked at her surprised but a little uncomfortable. She went silent for a little while as she tried to depict what was on my mind. “What?” She asked softly, “Is there something wrong? Don’t you like the place?” She asked a few more questions since I kept quiet. It was nothing really. I just thought it was quite expensive for just a weekend trip. To think of it, this was supposed to be for Risako, not mine. I smiled at her and answered her so many questions. “It was nothing. I just thought it was too much for just a weekend trip.” I smiled again, reluctantly this time as I continued my answer, “but then I realized, this was a trip for you and.. Risako. So it should be like this.” Miya shook her head and sighed. “Don’t think about that now. We’re going to this trip so you could forget your recent concerns and just enjoy it.” I didn’t know what to say but thank her for her concern but it made me think. Was she doing this because I’ll be married soon or was it because she didn’t want her money to be wasted because of the sudden photo shoot of Risako? Whatever it was, she was right, I should stop thinking of things for now.

After that conversation, we were silent throughout the trip – from the cab up to the plane and when it landed at Okinawa. From Okinawa, we decided to stop for something to eat and since it was still early for us to check-in at Busena Terrace. As how Okinawa was known, it had an American style into it but with no doubt, Japanese was still dominant. We went to eat at a park where there is a stall for crepes. We ate and strolled around the park but as soon as the next boat to Busena Cape was scheduled to take in passengers, we were off to the dock. The next day went by as we enjoyed the view of the underwater world from the underwater observatory of Busena Marine Park (http://"http://www.busena-marinepark.com/"). The second day, we just went for a little stroll around the hotel and used its outdoor swimming pool to cool down from a hot day. While we were having fun swimming, Miya suggested we eat at a nearby restaurant for dinner and for something special before we leave tomorrow morning. I thought it was a great idea and so I decided to go with her plan.

When we were already walking to the restaurant, I told Miya that we’ll be eating in a cheap restaurant since I don’t want her to spend so much for me. I’m just someone asked to be a replacement and so, I don’t deserve this treatment. I was lost in my own thoughts that I didn’t recognize we were already sitting on a table with a luxurious covering as well as the whole restaurant. I was brought back to my senses when Miya called my attention for my order. I quickly took the menu and looked for something I would like. I didn’t mind the price at first but after telling the waiter of my order and him leaving, I checked the price out and was surprised. I looked at Miya and shook my head. “I told you a cheap restaurant will do.” I wanted to cancel the order but she stopped me and gave me a reason, “Just sit down and enjoy the upcoming meal. This restaurant is fine. I’ll be the one paying anyway.” I shook my head furiously now and refused her decision. “No, I’ll pay for it.” I answered her but she just flashed me a soft smile and made me sit down comfortably. “Saki.. I’m the one who invited you to come with me. I’m responsible for you. So please let me. Take it as something to repay you for the inconvenience I’ve brought you.”

I wanted to speak up but I ended up silent. It’s not because I agree with what she wanted but because I heard her say that exact phrase before. It was the exact same thing she told me two years ago but I remember it to be kind, apologetic and heartbreaking. With the remembrance of the past, I started to shed a tear. She might have caught a glimpse of it since before I could even excuse myself so I could go to the ladies room, she was already asking what was wrong and was already handing me her handkerchief. I smiled at her as I shook my head a little. “Nothing... Nothing’s wrong. I just rem- Excuse me.” I refused to take her hankie as I tried to wipe my tears with my fingers before standing up to go to the comfort room.

When I was already at the hallway to the comfort rooms, I started to run to it for tears started to come once more. Why do I need to remember these things? I need to forget… My thoughts took halt when I bumped into someone unknowingly. “I’m sorry.” I told the person I bumped into while bowing before starting to get to the comfort room in a hurry but before I could go any farther, a sudden call of my name stopped me. “Saki?”

I looked back and found myself staring at Daiki. I can’t let him see me like this and so I turned around and started to walk. After a few steps, a tug on my arm stopped me once again and there was Daiki. I could feel he was tempted to ask but just as he would have, I told him not to ask. Instead, he just took me in his arms and hugged me tightly; trying to soothe me while I tried to stop myself from crying. It lasted for a long 15 minutes before I could show myself again to Miya. When I sat down, she asked me if I was feeling better and I nodded as an answer. “I’m sorry earlier. I just remembered something and it made me emotional for a bit.”

She just smiled back at me as the food was served. Silence grew as we started to eat. No one started a conversation until we were already in our room (http://"http://www.terrace.co.jp/English/busena/index.php?contentsID=GR030100"). I was at the veranda when she came from behind walked beside me. I looked at her with a smile before looking at the great view of the ocean at night. It was the last night I had to be free before being bound eternity to Daiki tomorrow. I was lost in my own thoughts when I didn’t catch on what Miya was saying. “Will you really get married tomorrow?”

When she realized I was not with her, she just looked at the view I was fond at. Not long after, I felt warm behind and that was when I realized, Miya was hugging me from behind. I was rooted from where I stand I didn’t know what to do. Should I stop her on what she was currently doing or should I just stay and enjoy the secure feeling it brings me? The result is the same. I always give in when it comes to her and so I didn’t stop her and even made myself comfortable. With this, I once again wished to the first star I saw tonight that Miya would not let go; to not let go of me anymore.

We spent a few minutes in silence and comfort until we heard the door banged open and it surprised us as we saw Daiki come in with Ryosuke not far behind him. “Daiki! This is not a good idea!” Ryosuke was telling him but he wouldn’t budge. I tried to come forward and talk to him but he ended up ignoring me. One thing made it clear on why he was acting like this. He was drunk. I looked at Ryosuke and would like to ask why he was drunk but before we could interact, we heard Daiki say a few words and when we looked his way, he already slapped Miya hard on the cheek. Ryosuke had a faster reaction time than me and so he tried to stop Daiki before he could hit Miya again. In my reaction, I went straight to Miya and went to secure her. While I was, Daiki was still so upset because of the effect of the booze and so he started yelling things. Things that I didn’t know if it were true or not.

“Miyabi Natsuyaki. I trusted you to take care of Saki while you go to this trip. And what did I see earlier tonight? She was crying. CRYING!”

Ryosuke tried to persuade him of leaving the room but he still stood his ground. “Did you know why I trusted you so easily? Aside from Saki telling me you’re her close friend, I researched your history and found out you had a past relationship with her. With that, I knew you know her well. You knew what makes her cry, what she likes and what she doesn’t. You know how to treat her.”

As I heard him say those, I tried to intervene with my own reason. “Daiki! Listen to me! It was not her fault I cried earlier. It was me. I remembered something I shouldn’t have. I made myself cry.”

“Just listen, Saki.” He answered and I went silent. “Miya, why did you invite Saki out here? Was it to just really let her enjoy the weekend before the wedding or was it because you wanted to spy on Risako at the presidential suite? Where she is busy having her photo shoot?”

After that, it happened too fast. I ended up seeing Miya returning a punch on Daiki’s cheek. “Just shut up! You don’t know my real reason!” She shouted back but before she could hit Daiki again, I moved in between and tried to stop her while Ryosuke tried to stop Daiki returning the favor.

“Or was it to see if Saki still loves you?” Daiki laughed for a little while before continuing his tease, “Do you think with what she would hear tonight would make her change her mind? You haven’t even told her one important thing..” Miya wanted to hit him again but I tried to stop her. “Saki would be hurt when she hears the truth.” Miya was in rage and I was left trying to stop her from attacking her prey but in a slight slop from my hand, there she goes and she hit Daiki on the cheek once again. Now it was harder than the first since Daiki fell on the floor. “Stop it! Just leave! You don’t deserve to be her husband if you act like this! I could treat her better than you do!” I couldn’t take it anymore. The fight has been too much for a short time and I don’t want to cause any trouble. I stood and stopped Miya again as I faced Daiki, “Just leave Daiki...” I told him as he was being pushed by Ryosuke away from Miya but he was too serious on his uproar and it ended him telling more even though I didn’t want to hear more.

“Your trip with Risako was supposed to be at Kafuu Resort (http://"https://secure.netbookerng.com/hotel/kafuuresortfuchakucondo/kunigamigunnaha/okinawa/hseoptx_uz/hseoid_5753030") where it is a little cheaper than this place, then why did you change hotels and one of the expensive ones as well?” Ryosuke tried to push Daiki again and was telling him to stop while I tried to stop Miya from going after him. Little by little, they went near the door. When they were already halfway through the room, Daiki shouted one last thing, “What is your reason for bringing Saki here? Right after you broke up with Risako two weeks ago?”

Hearing what just came out of Daiki’s mouth made me stop on holding on to Miya. She broke up with Risako two weeks ago? What is all these? So many information in such little time made me confused. Without further ado, Ryosuke found an opening and pushed Daiki out the door and before Daiki could even say more, he closed the door and led him back to their room.

When we were left alone, all the things that Daiki had just said came back to me one by one. With all of those, it made me want to know the truth. “Was that true Miya?” She didn’t answer and so I was forced to ask again, “Did you really break up with Risako two weeks ago?” She still didn’t answer me and my eyes started to swell again. I grabbed her arm and made her look at me. “Tell me.. Is it true?”

It took a few seconds before she responded, “Yes. We did. Two weeks ago. Right after I saw you at the entrance of the bookstore. ”

I still need to take everything in as I let her go. I slowly backed a few steps from her and asked, “Then… Is there a reason why you brought me here?”

Silence came again but I know she would answer and so I waited. “I.. I just wanted you to enjoy the weekend with me..”

I started to get teary once again, for no reason at all. “You wanted me to enjoy the weekend with you? That’s all?”

I could see her as she bit her lip, thinking of what she would say but it made me doubt if it was her true intention or if this was all show so she could sneak in to the presidential suite to watch Risako. “No.. That’s not the only reason..” I heard her whisper and it made me more curious but tears made me stutter. “T-then wh-at other reasons?”

She looked away and sighed. “I wanted you to have fun before your wedding.”

I thought she would say something worse, like telling me she was here to spy on Risako but I didn’t imagine her telling me this.

“I see… So you still wanted me to get married… I get it. Just, please answer me on why you told Daiki that you could treat me better?” I watched her as she stood in silence. She was not answering me and so I tried to get the information out by asking another question. “Is there a reason behind it?” I was actually waiting for an answer that I once had wished for. Something that would give me a reason to refuse the wedding and would tell my parents that there is someone other than Daiki that is willing to marry me without force. Someone who I love but I guess it was not meant to be true. I started packing my things after a few more confrontations.

“No. There is no reason behind it. I’m happy that you’re getting married to someone who is willing to love you.”

“Is that really all?”

“Yes. What else did you think?”

“I don’t know… I thought you’ll tell me something that would make me know that you… still love me.”

“I’m sorry there is nothing like that..”

“Miya.. don’t lie to me.. There is, right?” I started to pull on her hand as tears started to really fall.

“You still love me Miya.. You still do.”

“Saki…”

“I know you do.. If you don’t.. Then why would you say that to Daiki?” I tried to hold her tighter and closer to me but she was the one who kept stopping me. Why?

“Miya… be honest with me. Please…” With a sigh, she whispered, “I’m sorry”, then left the room.

Ahhh~!! :mon zoom: Did I read part one back when you posted it last year? I don't remember! But part 2 really took it up a level... though you better not take 6 months for part three!

Still... I'm not sure if I like what's happening or not. XD I suppose it depends on what'll happen in part three... You'll treat Saki and Miya well, right? :mon cute: Right!?

Either way, is it a bad thing I wanna punch Daiki too? :ph43r: He may just be upset that it seemed Saki was hurt, but still I'm worried if he does things like that. >.>

That Terrace hotel has a wedding terrace too... Is it too much to ask for Miya and Saki to elope there the next morning? :D

It really shows you've put effort and research into it, so I wanted to be sure and comment this time. Glad to see you writing again. ^_^ And don't worry, unless they're years apart, I wouldn't mind if it went past three parts as long as we have plenty of MiyaSaki fluff.

Actually, I posted Part 1 on h!o on November 26 last year.  :on lol: So it took me 8-9 months just to put up the next part. So maybe it will take me another 8 months to finish the next.  :hehehe: jk.
I actually don't know if you read it. I can't remember if we talked about it since all I could remember are my constant questions about the next chapter for Berry Beautiful :P Anyway, nice to see you again!  :welcome

Uhh, as for treating Saki and Miya well on part 3...  :dunno:  We'll see.  :glasses: Actually, I already know the ending and what would happen to the whole fic but because of how I write... It got longer. lol. But I already started with part 3 so don't worry on waiting for 6-8 months. Maybe 2-3 is fine. :P

Well, if you want to punch Daiki, it's okay. Though I never thought of punching Daiki until I wrote the part earlier.

Uhh, maybe we can arrange for them to get married there instead.   XD  Since the wedding is not in Busena Cape.

Haha.. yeah, because of work, I got used to researching stuff for my articles or fictions stories, so I did one for this part. Though the research was done already. Everything are right in front of me but it took longer to write it.

Yeah, well, new people in H!O started to pop-up in my thread when chapter 12 of Hoping for Chance came out. It gave me a reason to continue writing again. I would try to make another MiyaSaki fluff when I finish this and if ever I get an idea (even though I have plenty). :P

Marry Me [Part 3 - Final]

I called Daiki yesterday night and I told him I’ll be coming back to Tokyo with him this morning. Miya was still asleep when I was already finished packing. I need to go and because of what happened last night, I couldn’t really stay near her, at least, for a little while until I know what was the reason behind on what she told Daiki last night. I still couldn’t believe that there was nothing behind it. I could feel there is something. But why can’t she just tell me?

I was putting the last of my things in my backpack – my toothbrush and shampoo –before zipping it close. Good thing that my backpack could carry all the things I bought for Berryz and C-ute.  Not to mention Momo who is always asking for souvenirs whenever I go to a trip. Well, she also gets me one so why would I complain. I laughed with the thoughts that came to me with Momo but I stopped when I heard someone groan and the bed making a sound. I quickly looked at the girl sleeping on the bed and I was praying that she wouldn’t wake up. The sound of the bed stopped and the groaning faded. Seeing that Miya was not yet ready to get up and was still in her dreamland, I finally took in some air. I didn’t realize I was not breathing until I felt my chest was heavy.

Finally finished with packing, I sat on one of the chairs as I waited for Daiki. I didn’t know what else to do since I finished packing everything. I was already ready to leave. With nothing to do, I let my eyes linger on things around me until I remembered what happened last night when I looked out at the veranda. My heart suddenly fell and all the questions that were not answered are still unanswered. I then looked down on the coffee table, a glass with clean drinking water was on it. The water was warm and no signs of someone drinking it for a while. Looking at it closely, it made me remember that this was my glass last night while II was waiting for Miya to come back last night. I remember clearly that I was here, sitting on this chair while waiting for her, I didn’t remember anything after that. Just that I woke up beside Miya on the bed. Maybe I dozed off and she carried me to bed when she came back? That made me blush a little but then I shook it off as I remembered I can’t be the same with her in a few hours.

Still waiting for Daiki and Ryosuke to finish packing, I decided to write a letter to her – just to tell her the reason why I left her behind. Thinking she might get upset when I’m not here when she wakes up, though I’m not too sure on that.  As I write, I glance at her from time to time. She was still sleeping. Though she looked uncomfortable on her position, she still slept soundlessly like a baby. I smiled at the thought of how we slept the other day. We were cuddling each other that I felt so comfortable and secure. It made me remember how we used to do that often way back on the past. I still wanted those memories to come back and happen to me once again with the one I truly love. Laughing a little at the thought, it made me shed a little tear. “That’s impossible now…” I whispered while writing the last thing I don’t want to forget before folding the paper and placing it under Miyas’ phone on the side table.

A soft knock on the door then came and Daiki peered in. He made a signal for me that we were already leaving. I nodded as an answer and slowly walked to my bag, but before I could even walk out the door, I decided to go back to Miya. She still looked like she won’t wake up any time soon and so, I gave her one last look, caressed her soft and smooth face, leaned closer and kissed her forehead. As I backed away slightly to stare at her face once more, I let out a smile and shed another tear, “Why can’t you just tell me?” I said softly as I tried not to wake her up. “I’ll see you in church…” I actually didn’t want to say it but what’s the use. Time has run out and I have no choice but to really marry Daiki. With one last look at her, I quickly said my goodbye and walked out without looking back. I tried to think of other things but all that comes in my mind is something I really wanted to tell her. I love you…

We were already on the way to the airport via the hotel shuttle after the boat docked. Daiki must have realized I was so quiet and so he asked me if there was something wrong but I shook my head as an answer. I was just really not in the mood to talk but it seems Daiki has the opposite of it. “I heard from Yama-chan that I caused a ruckus last night.” I was not surprised but was not expecting for him to talk about it this early. “Ah. Mhm.” I answered, not really wanting to talk about it but he continued. “I’m sorry about the things that happened last night. I got drunk and I was not in control of my body.” I shook my head in return and told him it was okay and that I understood. He might have still figured something was bothering me and so he took my hand and suddenly I felt warm. I looked at his hand on mine then at him. We kept silent for a little while and I knew he was already going to say something that would open up what happened last night and I don’t want that. Before he could even say something, I spoke first. “Daiki… Why were you at Busena Terrace?” With the question, he kind of backed off a little and it felt like he was trying to hide something. He was glancing at me and outside that made it suspicious that this had something to do with my father. Since I remember mom telling me just before we left for this trip that dad was the one responsible for telling Daiki about it and now I think he was also the one who told him to go. “I..” I heard him say. “I was just here to go out and have fun.” He told me with a little laugh. He still seemed suspicious for me and I gave him a small glare but stopped when Yamada told him it was okay. “But-” He told him but was cut off. “I said, it is okay. It’s not like she would feel weird about it.”

I was confused. What were they talking about and I thought this had something to do with my father. I was surprised when Daiki suddenly looked at me after a big sigh. “You see…” He started and I was unsure if I wanted to hear it or not. I could feel he was hesitant but he managed to go on after. “As I said last night,  the original hotel that Natsuyaki-san had planned was Kafuu Resort. I didn’t expect you to be in Busena Terrace. So I felt relieved that no one would know – you would not know. But, it has come to this.” He paused as he looked at Ryosuke and he nodded. “I decided to go on a trip with Ryosuke… Since you are going to spend some time with the one who really captivates your heart before the wedding, then, I should do the same.”

I was shocked. I didn’t expect myself to catch on what he was saying as quickly as this but that’s not what really made me surprised. “So you mean… You and Ryosuke are…?” I was unable to continue my question but he knew and nodded. I was in total shock. Who would think that they are together? But then, I felt sad. I knew how it felt to be away from the one you love. And now that I know Ryosuke and Daiki are in a relationship. I know how Yamada was feeling about it. But it looks like he is not bothered about it but beneath that calm face, I know he is hurting.

I smiled at both of them. “You two are lucky. You both love each other.  While the one I love has someone else in her heart.” Yamada looked at me tried to cheer me up. “Don’t worry. Me and Daiki would be beside you. We’ll take care of you.” He said it with sincerity and it made me smile. “Thank you, Yama-chan.”

After an hour, we were back in Tokyo. The wedding is already due in two hours and all the preparations were nearly done. From Narita Airport, we headed straight to the church to get ready. It was not a grand church or anything, it is something simple but appealing. When we arrived, our parents were already there and we were about to get scolded but with the special occasion, we were spared. We were led to our respective rooms to get ready and soon after, the wedding had already started.

It was already near for me to go down and walk that walkway. A knock on my door came and I thought it was already my cousin to get me and so opened the door with the bouquet of flowers on my right hand. “Is it already time-” I was surprised. It was not my cousin who is outside my door. “What… are you doing here? You’re not allowed to come in here…” I don’t like what I was saying but it is true. “Please leave…”

“No. If I will leave, then come with me. Please don’t go on with this wedding.” I looked at her a little irritated as she came in and closed the door behind her. “Why? Is there a reason why I should not continue?” I asked her. She then turned silent.  I shook my head and started to go back to the door. She quickly blocked the door and told me once again to not go with the wedding. “Please, Saki. Don’t go out there and get married to Daiki.” I tried to push her out of the way but she was just so persistent. “Why Miya? Is there a reason for me to not go and throw away the trust of my parents?”  She went silent again. How could I ever persuade myself on not going down there and not walking if she doesn’t give me an answer. “So is there?” She just looked away and opened the door for me.  “I wish you a happy marriage.” That made me sad. I thought she was going to say something that I could persuade my parents that someone loves me and I love her. Then again, it is unlikely to happen. “T-thanks…” I told her before walking out of the room and down the stairs to the main chapel.

“Till death do us part..” It was already my turn to answer the priest but I was unsure on what to say.  Daiki had stood on his promise to go on with the wedding and said “I do” earlier, but now, it is my turn. Thinking about it and the sudden appearance of Miya in my room earlier, it made me think whether to go on or not but I need to do my part of the bargain and so, I was ready to say it until a sudden opening of the main door came that made a loud noise. Everyone was startled that they looked back on who opened it so hard. With the light behind the person, I can’t tell who it was but the sudden voice that came after made me sure on whom it was. When the door closed and the person quickly walked to the front, I am now out of words.

“Saki… I’m sorry. Please forgive me for all the mistakes I’ve made. I didn’t expect myself to stand here and tell you the three biggest mistakes I made but please listen.”

I didn’t know what to say but I nodded to listen.

“The first biggest mistake was breaking up with the one I truly love. I thought I loved Risako more than I do to you but it turns out, it was all infatuation. When I finally realized, I broke up with her. After the brake-up, I thought I could just look and take care of you from afar. That’s why I told you that I was still with Risako three days ago. Since I didn’t want you to know we called it off two weeks ago. That is my second biggest mistake, lying about something that is not there anymore. I thought I could get away with it but it turns out it just made me hurt you more.  With the news that you were going to get married to someone else, I decided to take you to the trip. I wanted to see if you still have feeling for me and if possible, I would tell you to stop, but because of what happened last night, I realized I’m just hurting you more when you are already hurting for the past two years.”

She paused and took a moment to think without taking her eyes off of me. “And lastly, was for me to lie about my true feelings, to you and to myself. Looking back now, the only person that could captivate my heart is no one but you. I’m so sorry for not even realizing it earlier than this. I think, I needed to fear of something that would make you distant to me before I could really make-up and understand my mind.”

She looked at me with sincerity in her eyes as she then approaches the altar and stood in between me and Daiki. “Please, give me another chance. I know I might not have the right to ask for one but please. Will you marry me?”
I bit my lip before asking her the same question I did when she came to my room.  I asked with tears already streaming down my cheeks. “Then, tell me, Miya. Is there a reason why I should get married to you?”

She gave me that soft smile she always did that makes me secure and remind me that she is the only one I love. “I love you, Saki. That is the only reason. It is because I love you that I don’t want to make the same mistakes again. I don’t want to lose you anymore. So please…” She paused and knelt on one leg and took m left hand, “Please, Marry Me.”

I laughed a little with her answer and tried to wipe my tears, “You know, I had been waiting for you to tell me that for a very long time now.” I smiled at her as my heart started beating fast with all the excitement happening at that moment. “I will, Miya. I didn’t dream of marrying anyone other than you. You’re the only one I would ever want to be married with.” I could see she was very pleased of my answer that she couldn’t take away the smile she was having until she locked her lips with mine.

------ A Year After ------

In the Wedding Terrace of  the hotel (http://"http://www.terrace.co.jp/English/busena/index.php?contentsID=WD000000"),  Momo was scolding this helper about not doing what she had told him to do, “Can’t you follow instructions!? I told you to tie them neatly and properly. Not that way! Fix it!” While she was scolding him, Maasa and Kanna were already behind her and when they got her attention, Maasa told her she was too harsh on the guy. “Momo, should you be that harsh on him? He just didn’t do one design properly and you are already that mad.” Kanna on the other hand was giggling. “But everything should be perfect. Nothing should go wrong now, right?” She reasoned and Kanna nodded but before she could answer, a shout startled them. It was Maasa and she was shouting at the other helper on the other end because he nearly made the cake fall off the table. “OI! BE CAREFUL WILL YOU!?” Momo was surprised with Maasa. She was the one who said not to be harsh with the helpers and here she is, doing the same thing she was doing earlier, but it seemed scarier. Kanna on the other hand just laughed with the irony that just happened.

In the other place of the event, Maimi barged in the bride’s room without knocking that startled the two persons inside. “Erika, could you please fix my tie?” Erika just shook her head as she pushed Maimi out the door, “You know you can’t come in here.” Erika told her before closing the door behind them. “I’m sorry. Maybe you should just teach me on how to tie it myself so I won’t bother you.”

She giggled and looked at Maimi with a little hint of seduction. “I don’t think that would be a good idea. I like fixing your things, especially your…” She paused as she finished fixing the tie, “…your tie.” She looked back at Maimi with a grin on her face. Maimi was provoked with her hints that she was about to kiss her but Erika placed her finger on Maimi’s lips and said, “That could wait until the end of the wedding. I still need to finish Saki-chan’s make-up.” Maimi sighed but agreed. Before she left, she was awarded with a peck on the cheek.

On the adjacent room, Miya was uneasy and was walking back and forth non-stop. “Miya, be calm. You know you’ll get more nervous when you stay there and walk around.” Miya stopped and looked at the girl who just stopped her. “Airi, stop it. Let her walk. She will get more nervous when you make her stop.” Risako said as she hugged Airi from behind and rest her cheek on her back. “I’m sorry. I know I should be calm but what could I do? This is the very day I was waiting for. The day I could really say she is mine.” The other two nodded but was surprised when the door suddenly opened and there came Maimi.

“What are you still doing here? It is about to start.”

“oh, okay. Uhh… How do I look?”

Maimi paused and looked at her seriously. She walked around her as she really examined the ‘women tux’ that Miya was wearing. When she was already back in front of Miya, she nodded.

“You look great! Now come on! I want this done and over with.”

“Why are you in a hurry?”

“I want this done so that I could get down with Erika after.”

“YOU PERVERT!”

Risako and Airi ended up laughing until Maimi successfully dragged Miya out of the room and to the Wedding Terrace as the two of them followed.

Finally, the wedding started as soon as Miya was already at her place. The soothing but exciting tune from the rented grand piano played and the flower girls started their walk – throwing flowers around the walkway. The cute Bible and Ring bearers walked down the walkway as well followed by everyone else with their proper arrangement. When it was the bride’s turn, everyone stood up and looked back at the entry way where they waited for the beautiful bride to be to come out. A special ensemble was organized for the walk of the bride and when they started to play Pachelbel’s Canon in D (http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvNQLJ1_HQ0") with the original instruments. Today is a really special day for the preparations to be that grand and detailed.

When the highlight of the classical music came, the bride soon emerged from the entrance in her delicate and wonderful dress. The type of wedding dress that you could say that was made only for her. And it is true. With the preparation of a year, they planned it carefully to be the best day of their lives. The ensemble continued on their playing until the bride reached the altar (http://"http://www.terrace.co.jp/English/busena/index.php?contentsID=WD010100"), and from  there, the lives of the newly wedded couple, Saki and Miya started.

@rndmnwierd & abok: Lol. I was not really expecting Daiki to be gay as well (and I hope he is not in real life). I just need a reason for Daiki to not really like to get married as well.

Since yesterday, it has been five months since I last posted here. Sorry guys, been very busy. I just hope you guys would like this. :)

Just so you know; just in case you get confused in the story:
1) Miya was from another country.
2) Miya is studying to be a Doctor.
3) Berryz here doesn't really have the same members of the real Berryz.
4) Saki is working part-time somewhere... Didn't really have any specific thought of it.

I Can’t Say How Much I Miss You
By panickofpain

Don’t you just hate sad songs? Don’t you just want to forget about what might come in to your mind once you hear the exact same song when you cried? You cried so hard that you swore to forget about everything, but after a long while, when you hear that same song again, you think otherwise. You suddenly want to make the past the present. You want that person back… but you can’t…

Taking off the earphones that covered my ear after listening to “Still Alone” by Ayumi Hamasaki, I suddenly had the urge to plead my whole life just to get her back. Reaching out for my phone, I started to write things that would just make her remember me, even though I knew she had not forgotten about me. After reaching the page limit for a text, I read the whole text again just to make sure I did not make any mistakes in my Japanese, for Japanese was just my second language. Seeing that there was nothing wrong and was about to press the “send” button when I hesitated. “What if she doesn’t reply? What if I feel this way when she doesn’t? What if…” I froze, thinking this wouldn’t work out but still, I pressed the button and the message was sent.

Tossing the phone on the bed before sighing, I closed the lights in my room and went straight to lie down on the bed. I was not feeling tired nor was I sleepy, but the darkness and the sad song playing made me comfortable. It was not really a good idea to stay awake with darkness and sad song playing because, knowing myself, I’ll go thinking and wanting something I could never have again…

When sleep finally caught me in its cell, I went to sleep and woke up the following morning to see a reply from her. I was not surprised to see a message from her since she does reply to my messages when I send one via mail. I know I’ve been doing this often after she replies but because I don’t have extra money to buy load for my phone, I don’t reply. I feel bad about it but promised myself that when I get extra cash, I’ll buy one just to continue talking to her.

The day went by but the laboratory expenditures made it hard to have extra bucks but nonetheless, I saved a little just to reply. It was already past thirteen hours since she replied, I don’t even know if she would want to reply anymore. Even so, I took the courage to reply. I thought she may be at work for after school, she goes to work. “I hope no one said something bad to her again…” I thought before sitting on the computer chair to open the computer. I was lucky to not work even though I’m in a different country from my own. I had already been living in Japan for two years now and the very reason why I did come was because of her.

Thinking about her again, I didn’t realize the computer was already showing my desktop when I decided to go and visit her. I took my phone, wallet and keys; locked the front door and drove off to her house. I had no clue where she was working this time and so, the only place to know was her house. Not really thinking if her mum was there, I parked the car nearby, knocked on the door and waited. It was not long when the door opened and I was there, standing in front of her mum. I greeted her politely, of course, before asking where Saki might be working at the moment. It was a little longer to learn where for her mum asked a bunch of questions before telling me. I don’t think it was bad since she is her mum and she wants to protect her daughter, on the other hand, I was kind of in a hurry. I don’t know why but I was.

Driving to the place where her mum told me, I parked on a vacant parking space before heading to the front door. There was a visitors area and there was I lead to after informing the desk clerk about the reason why I was there. She told me she was about to get off in a few minutes and so I should just wait, and I did. I sat there, not really minding the people around me but the beating of my heart went faster as time went by. “What if she doesn’t remember me? What if she… doesn’t want to see me…?” Thoughts and ideas came popping in my head as the tension and nervousness came rushing all through out my body. “I can’t do this!” I finally told myself and started to walk towards the front doors again, ignoring the two girls walking towards the door as well. When I was about to push the door, a familiar voice stopped me.

My heart started to race and I could hear each pound it makes. I looked back and there she was, standing in front of me, surprised. I let go of the door as the other girl walked away, leaving me and her alone.

“Miya?” She said as she walked closer. “What are you doing here?” She asked as she looked at me with a curious look.

“Well… I was just passing by…” I answered, stuttering on the words since I don’t really know what to say.

“Really?” She asked, still surprised.

I felt it was a little bit awkward and I knew I should be leaving. “Yeah… Well, I need to go now…” I told her and started to head to the door again, but before I could, a tug on my arm stopped me. I glanced back and saw she was holding me. I didn’t move. I just looked at her and as instincts controlled, I held her hand and lead her out to the car. I opened the door on her side and closed it after she settled in before coming to the drivers’ side to get into my seat.

I started the engine and drove off to the highway. I was silent and so was she. I was thinking of what to say but before I could even say it, things get jumbled in my head and I didn’t get to tell it. “Damn it!” I whispered and I think she might have heard.

“Are you okay?” She asked as she glanced at me.

“Yeah! Yeah, I’m fine…” I answered as normal as I can just to assure I was saying the truth.

Silence bound us again as I stopped the car when the red light flashed. There I felt she was eyeing me. I felt someone was looking at me with something she/he wanted an answer. I tried to keep my cool but her voice echoed in the car and it made me look at her.

“Why did you pick me up?” She asked.

“I… I just felt it…” I answered with a fake smile. “I meant, it has been a long time since I picked you up and I thought I should pick you up again. Why? You don’t want me to pick you up?” I added and found her looking away before as she answered, “No. I was not expecting you who would pick me up.”

I felt I did something wrong and I knew I should say sorry for it. “I’m sorry… I should have messaged you about it.” She just smiled and told me it was okay.

Another silence came when the green light flashed and off I drove to her house. She invited me in but I was hesitating to go. But with her persistence, I went in. Luckily, no one was home this time. I was safe.

She asked if there was something I wanted to drink and I just said it was okay. I’m not thirsty at the moment, but even though I said that, she came to the living room with two glasses of juice. She handed me one and I took it, not wanting to make her effort go to waste. I said thanks and took a sip.

We talked and it was not progressing in a good way as I imagined for it had so many silence intervals and it really felt awkward. Just to not have the intervals, she asked if it is okay to watch TV and I said it was, and since it is her house. She shouldn’t be asking that question to me.

It was already getting dark but I stayed, hoping there would be a change in the situation. “Miya! Say something! Anything!” I convinced myself but nothing came out. I waited a little more as I gathered the courage to just talk to her. “Say… How’s life?”

She looked at me with a pout. “Still the same…”

I nodded. “I see.” Another pause came but I tried my best to lessen the time of the quiet interval just to make the conversation going. The only problem was, I didn’t know what to say. “Do you still listen to Berryz?” There... that is the only thing that came to my mind and I feared it will go to a dead end again but luckily, it didn’t. We started to ignore the TV as the conversation went deeper and more, normal. Too normal actually. It was like how we usually talk. I suddenly felt how we used to talk like this and how fun it was. We continued on but a call on her phone stopped us.

She excused herself since she needed to take it. I agreed and she left to the other room. Being a little comfortable now, I decided to go and take a look around. Nothing has changed that much since the last time I visited. Everything was still there, even the picture I had with her. Those days came flashing in my eyes and I felt there was still hope to ask her again to be my girl. With excitement, I went to the other room and she was looking the other way, not realizing I was there. I couldn’t help but hear what she and the one on the other end were talking about and it was about a ‘date’ this weekend. I didn’t know who was on the other line until I heard her say those four words I so wanted to hear from her again. ‘I love you too’.

I didn’t know what to do. Did I hear it right? Of course I did, I was just standing a few meters from her. I was sure she said those four words. She moved and saw me standing there. She immediately said goodbye through the phone and walked towards me. She asked a question that made my emotions stir more.

“Miya… Were you here all this time I?”

It took a few seconds before I answered and of course, I said no.

“No, no. I came in just now… I was about to tell you I need to leave.”

She looked at me as curious as I was with the person she was talking to.

“Why? Did I make you uncomfortable in anyway?” She asked as she started biting her lower lip as she got accustomed on doing it.

I shook my head and just laughed to cover what I was really feeling, “No. I just need to go. My professor sent me something in my mail and I need to go over it and send it back by midnight.” What a lame excuse but… what could I do?

“You could use my computer.” She insisted as she pointed it.

“It’s okay.” I smiled slightly. “There is a program that I need to use at home. It is to check the DNA sequence.” I smiled again and just thanked her for the great time.

She walked me to the door and before leaving, I looked back at her and just stared at her, wanting to really say the reason of my sudden appearance. But, remembering what she said earlier made me stop and just say goodbye for the second time.

“Take care of yourself…” I smiled slightly. “I’m just a message away if you need me.” I added before hesitantly smiling. “See you again sometime.” I finally said before moving closer to kiss her cheek. The kiss went on for a few seconds before I moved away, smiled at her and walked away.

Driving back to my house made me realize… I still can’t have her even if I wanted to…

So I say again… Don’t you just hate sad songs? Don’t you just want to forget about what might come in to your mind once you hear the exact same song when you cried? You cried so hard that you swore to forget about everything, but after a long while, when you hear that same song again, you think otherwise. You suddenly want to make the past the present. You want that person back… but you can’t…
Title: Re: Panick's Little Corner - "Kidnapped (Sequel 2)" *Updated 04/04/2012*
Post by: panickofpain on April 04, 2012, 02:44:29 PM
It has been more than a year and a month since I last posted a one shot. So now, I am finally posting the sequel of my "Kidnapped" fic. :)

For those who loved that fic with BeriKyuu and the unexpected TakaGaki at the end, here is the second sequel to that fic. :D

Kidnapped (sequel 2)

A week has passed since we were kidnapped. Me, Chisato, Airi and Kanna were spending the afternoon in Sweet Palace de Chinami. It’s an ice cream parlor owned by Chinami’s parents. Maybe that is why Chinami doesn’t want too many sweets, since she already had too many here.

“Ahh~ what can we do today?” I asked taking Chisato’s hand, tracing the lines on it with my finger.

“Momo, stop that. You know I’m ticklish.” Chisato whispered in my ear making me giggle – my cheeks starting to take the shade of pink.

“Could you two stop flirting? It makes me wanna puke.”  Kanna interrupted as she looked at us with her arm around Airi’s neck.

Airi slapped Kanna’s hand away from her as she then glared at her, “You should be the one to shut up. Stopping them flirting with each other just because I stopped you flirting with Maiha.”

Kanna looked surprised at Airi since she hasn’t heard her talk like that. Well, me too. “I wasn’t flirting! I was just asking something.” Kanna explained, having an apologetic look on her face.

Airi just looked away, ignoring Kanna’s explanation as Kanna tried to hold her hand, but failed the attempt as Airi slapped her hand once again. Chisato laughed at Kanna, pulling me closer to her as I gave her a peck on the cheek. After a few minutes of attending on our own needs and conversations, Chinami pulled a chair to our table and sat between Airi and me.

“So, have you guys thought of what to do this afternoon?” Chinami asked as she put her pastry hat on the table.

I looked at her with a smile, pulling out a little from Chisato’s hug, “We haven’t even discussed about it. Kanna was busy apologizing to Airi.”

Chinami looked at the couple beside her confused on why Kanna was apologizing to Airi. Chisato leaned forward, motioning for Chinami to do the same as she whispered the answer to Chinami’s unasked question. Chinami’s eyes grew wide as she nodded slowly, looking back at Airi and Kanna.

“Ah! Maybe that is why Maasa was mumbling things to herself earlier and was gripping the ice cream cone tightly that she crushed the cone.” Chinami let out a small laugh as Kanna turned her gaze at her looking a little scared.

“Ma-Maasa is not here right?” Kanna stuttered as she asked if the strong-undefeatable Maasa was there.

Chinami just smiled at her, not really answering the question as Airi started laughing. Both Chisato and me joined Airi’s laughter and a little while, Chinami too joined in. Kanna on the other hand had a frightened look as she sulked on her chair. I was laughing for a while as a few men in tuxedos came in, scanning the place as one of them glued his gaze at us. I finally noticed the man as he started to walk towards us.

“I’ll go back to the kitchen now. My mom’s calling for me.” She whispered in my ear, as she then stood up and walked her way to the kitchen. Chisato tapped my shoulder, as I was not responding to her call. Seeing I was still not responding, she followed my gaze and looked at the man walking towards our table. Airi was poking Kanna for fun as Kanna stayed sulking on her chair.

I gulped as the man stopped on our table, scanning our faces as he then snapped his fingers. It made me jump a little, waking me up from my thoughts as the other two in black stood behind him.

“Yes?” I asked in a whisper. I didn’t know if he heard it but their presence gave me a feeling of fright inside that I can’t speak.

“Are you a member of the House of TakaGaki?” He asked in a low voice, taking his shades off and placed it in one of his pockets.

I looked at Chisato as she was the one who answered, “So what if we are?”

The man moved his head as the other two men behind him walked around our table, positioning themselves behind Airi and me. “Then, we ask for your cooperation. Our boss wants us to get suitable members for ransom.” He started as he once again scanned the four of us.

Kanna shook her head and looked at the man, “So you mean you guys will kidnap us and have us for ransom?”

Airi took Kanna’s arm, clinging to her as the man beside her got closer. “Kanna.. He’s getting closer.”

Kanna looked at Airi, wrapping her arm around her as she then looked at the man beside Airi, “Dude! Don’t you dare come nearer?”

I stared at the man in front of me as I felt a slight grip on my hand. I looked down and followed the arm until I saw Chisato worried face. I couldn’t help but to give out a small smile just to assure her nothing will happen to the four of us. I looked back at the man as he started to talk again.

“You either come with us without any resistance or we’ll force all of you to come.” He stated as he looked at the two other men, signaling to get themselves ready if something happens.

I looked at Chisato then at Kanna and Airi, nodding slightly as they knew what I was trying to tell them. We knew two things to do when stuck in this kind of situation - fight or run. In this case, we could only run. Chisato looked at Kanna and with a nod; they started to count in their heads. 1…2...3!

At the count of three, Kanna and Chisato pushed the man in front and pulled Airi and me out of the place. We started to run towards the park, a few blocks away from the place. I looked back and saw one of them gaining at us. I started to force my short legs to the extent of which it can run. As we arrived at the park, Airi slowed down as she couldn’t run any longer. Kanna tried to pull her but Airi was really at her limit.

We stopped as I tend to Airi’s needs, taking a bottle of water from my small bag, as Chisato and Kanna stood on guard. “Airi, drink some water. This will help you regain strength.” I told Airi as I handed her the water bottle.

Airi drank the water and was about to finish half of it when Chisato spoke, “Here they come.”

I looked at the direction where both Kanna and Chisato were staring as I held Airi near. If we run now, we can go straight to HQ, but in Airi’s condition, we can’t. I looked at Airi who was still catching some air and decided we can’t continue to run now.

“Momo, is Airi now okay?” Kanna asked as she balled her fist, watching the men come closer. “Can we run, now?”

I shook my head as I held Airi in my arms, “No, she still can’t run. She’s still weak from running that fast earlier.”

Kanna gritted her teeth as Chisato took position near her, “Then we need to fight.” Chisato sighed as she looked at Kanna.

The men came closer and closer, taking something from their pockets. It looked like small knives as it sparkled at the sun’s light but we weren’t sure. Kanna was about to run towards the men when Chisato took her arm – stopping her. The men stopped a meter away from our front line as they gripped the knives in their hands.

“Get ready Kanna.” Chisato told Kanna who was standing beside her. They observed the situation and they found a way to take the men down. “Chisato… on my go, we charge.” Chisato nodded without taking her gaze off the men. “Chisato, be careful!” I whispered.

I could see them getting ready and Kanna opening her mouth, and in the instant I knew they would charge, a powerful battle cry suddenly emerged out of nowhere. Airi and I cling to each other tightly as we got frightened. Chisato and Kanna were surprised and they stepped back.

Coming out of nowhere, the three men suddenly fell forward as if they were attacked from behind. I looked up from Airi to look at what happened and saw the fearsome leader and captain in their battle formation.

“Oi! Chisato! Kanna! Take Momo and Airi to the HQ. We’ll take care of this!”Maimi yelled as the three men stood up. I quickly understood and helped Airi up. I didn’t let go of her. She’s still too weak to run as fast as we did earlier, so in the end, Kanna carried Airi on her back and we rushed at HQ.

***Meanwhile at the park***

I glanced at the Kanna and Chisato led Momo and Airi away and to safety. When they were nowhere in sight, I looked at the men in front of us and called out to my partner, well, my love as I call her. “My love, are you ready?” I said in a serious tone and was preparing myself when I fell on my side. “D-don’t call me that!” The girl beside me shouted at me. This is why I always tease her. I just couldn’t wait for our designated time to be truly lovers. I’m actually wooing her mother for Saki’s hand.

Before I could get up, I felt a tug on my shirt and a pinch on my arm. “Mou! Don’t you space out on me! When you do that, you always think of unwanted things!” She lectured which made me further want to tease her, but looking back at the irritated men in tuxes, I knew this was not the time. I stood up quickly and stepped beside Saki. “Seriously now, are you ready, Saki?” I asked her as I could see at the side she was already going into battle position. “I’m always ready.” She answered and it excited me.

“You two! You’ll pay for the loss of those members of the House of TakaGaki for the successful ransom plan.” The man in the middle yelled as he picked up the knife on the ground. “We are here to protect each other!” Saki answered and the men’s faces lightened. It made us back up a step. Why were they snickering? I asked myself and slowly they walked towards us. “What should we do?” Saki asked but I couldn’t answer. I knew at this time, we need to fight.

“Hiyaaaah!” A voice boomed from behind us and instantly, a shadow from the top of us caught our attention. The three figures came down and directly hit the three men separately with their flying kick. “That’s what you get when you underestimate the power of team work of the House of TakaGaki!” The girl in the middle shouted before the three looked at us. “You two are bad! You left us back at my parent’s ice cream parlor without telling us! You two don’t want to share the fun of beating these guys!” The one of the right exclaimed.

“Chii, Maasa and Maiha! Behind you!” I suddenly screamed and started sprinting towards them. Saki was not behind me but beside me, I guess she read my thoughts. That’s also one thing I like about her. In an instant, it was our turn to bring these three down. With a proper distance, we jumped as high as we could and showed them our own flying kick.

The three men fell backwards and we celebrated with our newly arrived friends. We never thought one of the men had called for help and in a few minutes, two black cars arrived and we were surrounded with 11 men with the three we were previously bullying.

We didn’t know what to do and we fought with all our might. We were able to take down half but they were still too many. We were getting too exhausted. “You five will be more than enough for the ransom.” The leader of the men in tux commented before holding his knife again. I whispered near Saki’s ear to take Maiha and run. She refused. “Saki! Do it! Take Maiha and run towards HQ! Then get reinforcements!” She looked at me and I knew she was mad, but I knew she understood. “But! I don’t want to leave you!” She answered. It made me happy but this is not the time to think of such things. She does care for me!

“Come one Saki! You have only one chance!” Chinami continued, supporting Maimi’s plan. “I’ll leave Maiha in your care, Captain.” Maasa also said but Maiha was like Saki, she didn’t want to leave her precious Maasa. “No! We’ll fight with you!” Maiha answered and cling to Maasa. Maasa on the other hand took her hand and kissed it. “I’ll come back, I promise.” With that, Saki took Maiha’s hand and when we gave them the signal, they ran and we were left, dealing with these men.

***Two hours has passed***

Two hours has passed and I knew, Saki was already mad at me. I can’t help but to feel sorry for her and event to Maiha. We got caught and now, the three of us are on our way to god knows where.

“Maimi…” Chinami whispered and I looked at her. “The others would know that we are kidnapped, right?” I looked down for a little while before looking at both Chinami and Maasa. “Yes… I know, they’re looking for us right now.” I answered, assuring we will be saved soon.

Looking out the window, one of the men finally called our attention. “We’re here.” He plainly said before the car stopped inside a compound where there was no way anyone from the outside could penetrate. The men in tux led us to one of the rooms and made us sit down.

We were unaware of what was in front of us, for the whole room was dark and only a spotlight on our spot shined. Having a glimpse of the dark room and the unknown in front of me, I remembered when we were first abducted a week ago by the fearsome TakaGaki. We thought we were really done for that time but in the end, they just wanted us to join their clan or family. When I learned that back then, all I could say was, they could just have asked. They didn’t need to drag us there and watch their scene. Well, I enjoyed it anyway and I had a wonderful day dream about it and how good I and Captain were doing it.

My thoughts were interrupted when sudden bursts of moans came out in front of us. I could understand kissing but this… I’m not ready for it yet. “Stop it! Stop it! Let me out! I can’t stand this!” Chinami suddenly panicked and went straight to the door and tried to open it but it was closed. The men in tux that were left with us forced her back to her seat.

The intensity of the unwanted noises got higher, to the extent we knew, they were finished. After a few more minutes of silence, two figures came out of the shadows and smiled mischievously at us.
“I guess you came at a very interesting time.” The one on the left said as she pulled up her leather gloves from her pocket. “They did, and I think it bothered them.” The other said as she sat on the chair in front of us.

We couldn’t believe who the culprits of this scam were. Our jaws were down and we were speechless. “Oh look Reina, they went speechless.” The one standing commented before sitting on the other’s lap. “Then, we need to treat them good for them to be eligible for ransom.” She smirked before caressing the other’s cheek. “Isn’t that right, Eri?”

We can’t believe what is happening to us… Now thinking about it, we are once again… kidnapped. Saki! Hurry up! I… I need you to save me!
