anyway they'll release new single [YES!] on 2006.03.01

I haven't really heard much of their stuff, but I have to admit that I really like "Tada...Aitakute" and when they collaborated with GLAY on "SCREAM"

EXILE is pretty cool, CHOO CHOO TRAIN is prolly my fav song of theirs and their collab with GLAY was awesome. I have the EXILE Entertainment album, its ok, nothing spectacular... i still keep an eye out on their stuff though

I can't say I'm surprised. His true musical tastes never really seemed to match that of the R&B style that is EXILE's signature sound.

wow i never saw that coming. i don't really keep up with them but this is quite surprising, especially when SHUN wrote a majority of their songs.

EXILE now has become a 7 member group, with 2 vocalist and 5 performers (dancers). The new addition includes a new vocalist, TAKAHIRO and a performer, AKIRA (from RATHER UNIQUE,a sub-group of EXILE).
The single "Everything" was lacking in vocal my opinion (TAKAHIRO!) anyways,
the new EXILE's single "Lovers Again" is alot better then "Everything".

The other members are just backup dancers. They sometimes look dorky in the background dancing to ballads though.

I love "Lovers again". I might consider buying the single. I'm not a BIG fan of them. But that is the only song I like by them. I let a girl listen to that song and now she digs me I think. is there a PV of it?

not really... JSB was basically an EXILE clone anyway, in every sense, so i dont think it really changes anything... just more people on the stage now

Yar. If it was me, I WOULD go MoMusu on the group. Drop Takahiro as vocals cause he's never had an interesting voice, drop Matsu and Makidai (or at least just Makidai) from the group as dancers cause they've never done much worth watching. USA, Hiro and Akira are just on a completely different level as those two.
Then you just bring in the fresh talent from JSB to fill in the gaps. SUUUUPAAA GROUP

ATSUSHI to not participate in upcoming EXILE TRIBE dome tour

It's been announced that EXILE's ATSUSHI will not be participating in EXILE TRIBE's dome tour 'EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR: TOWER OF WISH 2014', which starts this fall.
ATSUSHI explained, "In order to make EXILE shine more than ever and to evolve EXILE TRIBE as a whole, I want to see EXILE and EXILE TRIBE objectively." He continued, "By viewing from a fans' point of view, which is different from the scenery seen on stage, I believe that I will be able to discover things I haven't seen or noticed as well as the potential of a new EXILE." He further added, "It may be selfish, but I am thinking about this in a very positive way."
ATSUSHI also promised his return in EXILE's 2015 tour, saying, "I made the resolve to bring the things I felt back to EXILE and come back to the independent tour as EXILE ATSUSHI in perfect condition."
While he will not be participating in this year's EXILE TRIBE tour, ATSUSHI will continue to be involved in EXILE's releases and TV and radio program appearances.

I like the others vocal but ATSUSHI is on another level.
Beside, I feel like TAKAHIRO is going to lose his voice, his voice is so deep compared to before o_o like it's strained.
Ti Amo, Lovers Again and Futatsu no Kuchibiru are masterpieces, these songs are so good that I don't think EXILE ever could do better XD They set my expectations too high. EXILE with each release, I'd end disappointed because I'd always compare their new songs with these 3 hits.
That's why I'm more into 3JSB now: with 3JSB I know they can still improve and get better and I would not end up as disappointed.
ATSUSHI's Aoi Ryuu is so good though *_*

EXILE's Matsumoto Toshio, USA, and MAKIDAI to end their activities as performers

It was announced that EXILE's Matsumoto Toshio, USA, and MAKIDAI would end their activities as the group's performers at the end of 2015.
On EXILE's official site, the three members released their joint comments, as well as individual comments.
"We are going off on a pathfinding journey to aim the end of new horizon. This is not a graduation nor retirement, but a new challenge." -- As the comment says, those three will continue being a part of EXILE, but will not appear on EXILE's stages as the performers.
Regarding their future activities, Matsumoto wrote that he would establish "Matsu-gumi" in Gekidan EXILE, and further expand his activities as a performer, mainly on stage plays.
On the other hand, USA will focus on a project "DANCE EARTH" which he claims as his life work, while MAKIDAI will focus on his activities as DJ MAKIDAI, mainly with his team PKCZ.
Matsumoto, USA, and MAKIDAI were the part of the members formed the first generation of J Soul Brothers in 1999. After changing the group name to EXILE back in 2001, they have been leading the group as its performers.

Apparently some evidence of this has been found, so it's probably more than just "rumors" at this point. Just to clarify things, LDH is the management company that takes care of EXILE and numerous other artists/musicians/groups/talents. Former EXILE leader HIRO is it's current president, but in light of this news coming out, the AramaJapan post states that he's apparently said that he'll be resigning that position.
