Created by Vision Factory this idol group is made of middle school girls and from what i read the name is because the girls look like fairies like dancing. And because this is a group from a bigger agency that most of the other new idols they are super well trained, in the dancing area specially
* Despite not even having an official debut they already have some product endorsements (plus a massive media campaign)
* Group is currently on a pre-debut tour doing appearances everywhere around Japan drawing 2000 fans average each time (impressive)

Harajuku station is PLASTERED with their posters. Seriously, there are NO OTHER posters at the underground bit. Just them all over. :lol: Massive pimpage indeed! I may have also witnessed a truck in Shibuya playing their song (but I might be wrong)

I thought those opening dance moves were pretty original indeed. Looks like the members have put a lot of time and effort in the dancing side of the performance, have to give credit to whoever is creating the choreography and coaching the girls. :yossi: :cow: :deco:

Fairies get to initiate the lighting of the zelkova trees which line Omotesando shopping avenue. Often referred to as 'Champs-Elysees' of Tokyo, the tall trees are a very beautiful sight in spring, summer, and fall..........

原宿キラキラ学院 / Harajuku Kirakira Gakuin (Shiny Harajuku School) is a really nice promotion for Fairies, and also for kids who are interested in dance.
The guest dance teams are really good, and they are just ordinary kids, who are working hard and getting a chance to show the results of their hard work.
Kenzo sensei is a great addition to the show, the girls clearly look up to him, and the host, Keisuke Okada treats the girls respectfully, but still has some fun with some of their lame comedy attempts. You can tell Okada enjoys this job.
And the girls are really fun to watch, including when they cover older songs in the karaoke segment.

I agree, I watched many idol varieties, and I can say that Harajuku Kirakira Gakuin is one of the most interesting one. Even for non japanese speaking fan like me. Really, great job!

Momoka and Sora are in the same class!
Before graduating junior high school, Momoka made a request to a teacher to make her in the same class as Sora in high school. The two schools are connected, according to a Japanese fan. The new school year has begun and Momoka tweeted that she and Sora are in the same class!

Didn't pick this up until now... behind times as always. This makes me sad, even though she does it for good reasons. Honestly (and I know some will wonder about my judgement now!) ... it was Kawane-chan I always looked for when I saw Fairies, I think because the way she was not the "perfect slender idol" figure and yet always seemed to fit right in. I will truly miss her, and that I will not get to see her develop and mature in her style and performance. Good luck, and ganbate, Kawane-chan! :cry: :wub:
At least Rikako still continues with them. I notice in a previous post I called Rikako my favourite Fairies member. I do love her, and now she will be, but to be honest I must have thought at that time that other members here would wonder how come I would like Kawane so much. Well, she's gone but not forgotten!

I am really gonna like Hikari no Hate ni !! (Interesting - I believe their first release which has had a Japanese rather than English title?)
The song is lovely to hear; and the dance is cute and bouncy. And I love the simple outfits - especially the shorts combined with those classy hi-heeled pumps... a really, really pretty combination. The shoes remind me a little of the style that Perfume has adopted - classy and formal, yet very attractive too.
So I think this is a win! The first release this year too, since I guess the girls had to take time out while M3 did their thing.

Fairies 12th single to include members' solos songs
September 4, 2015
Fairies will release their 12th single "Mr.Platnic" on November 18.
"Mr.Platnic" is described as a pop number that exhibits the members' charm to the fullest. In addition, the six members all challenged themselves to solos, allowing fans to enjoy each of their personalities. The solo songs will be released separately in the different versions as the coupling tracks. In total, there will be 11 versions available for purchase.
Shortly before the single's release, Fairies will kick off their third one man tour "Fairies LIVE TOUR 2015" on November 7. You can check out the tour schedule below.
