(Group) Bakusute Sotokanda Icchome

Formed by maids that work in Akihabara Backstage Pass cafe (similar to afilia saga) the creation of this group was showed on tsuntube since the start and of course they work with Chiyomaru Shikura from 5pb and Tsunku, in fact they debuted under 5pb label (until moved to warner) and still nowadays are managed by people from this company.



THEY HAVE INFINTE MEMBERS 

AKB got nothing on them! 

Some relevant members are:

- Momochi Minami: The girl that wears an anime face mask is very know idol in akihabara mostly, always perform in several events and do DJ sessions too.

- AD Nagisa: She won fame thanks to her appearances in tsuntube. She is more heavy than the average idol, not the prettiest but is full of an attitude that won Tsunku's will.

- Kaori Horiuchi: Not the most popular member but is popular with overseas fans thanks to her flawless english. She appeared in various shows targeted to international fans.

Pretty cool group, especially with a cafe where you can meet them and see them perform.

So glad there is a thread for them! I was always interested in them, but after going to Japan this year, I must say I am absolutely in LOVE. The cafe has an AMAZING atmosphere, and the girls are all so cute and funny and talented. Really, you don't experience something like it anywhere else. The girls who aren't dancing on stage even perform right next to your table!
Akihabara Backstage Pass is one of my absolute favorite part of my trips, I visited a bit too many times haha. And the fact that you giving points to members is what decides who is featured in the next single or on the covers and such really is a great way to make you spend money...

Even without thinking of the (amazing) cafe part of it, the group is great. Awesome songs, every last one. <3

Yes the whole idea is like a more polished version of Afilia concept because Tsunku is involved. No wonder then why Warner hired them this fast, only 2 singles after their indies debut.

They always perform in 5pb events like animelo or the 5pb.live.

Kaori lived in America for a few years ^_^ So she speaks both Japanese and English totally fluently. Along with that, her voice is AMAZING. The girl can SERIOUSLY sing <3

Great performance!! Too bad none of my Top 3 are in that, though I'm not too surprised.... Koari seems pretty popular, so I hope to see her in this sort of thing sometimes ^_^

I'm a new fan of theirs and I would like to know how their whole system works.
I know that they have a weekly ranking, but do the members who don't rank high still get to be a main member?
I really like Hirosawa Mai and I know she appears to be a main member all the time, but when I checked the ranking she's at 24... is that normal?

From what i know (or mabe i got it wrong because google translator lol) is that they perform like a casting in order to win a spot in the releases and last time and those are streamed on niconico... so as far i can tell the "cafe ranking" doesn't really make any girl a main member... However yeah, seems their system is very complex and outside a bunch that are like in every performance the rest have to fight an spot.

ps:to make it more complex idols from other idol groups can also work as "maids" but not sure how often they do this nowadays

I saw her in real life and I took pictures and signs of her with Kaori and Azuna  I'm so happy and I hope they will come in Italy again the next year
