Shiina will also provide the theme song, titled "Onna no Ko wa Daredemo." She wrote the song specifically for the commercial, and it was arranged by well-known musician Takayuki Hattori.

Shiina announced at the end of last year that she would release a new single on February 23. It is now known that it will be a double A-side, featuring "Onna no Ko wa Daredemo" and another song written by Shiina and composed by Seiji Kameda, the bassist of Shiina's band Tokyo Jihen.

Back in late February, Tokyo Jihen announced that they were going to delay the release of their new single, “Sora ga Natte Iru / Onna no Ko wa Dare Demo“. The band officially resumed their activities today, and with that, they revealed that the new release date would be May 11th.

The band’s seventh single was originally slated for release on February 23rd, but due to an incident involving their drummer, the release date had been pushed back indefinitely.

11月2日にリリースされる椎名林檎のニューシングル「カーネーション」のビデオクリップ視聴がスタートした。

今回のビデオクリップは、東京事変の作品でもおなじみの映像クリエイタ―・児玉裕一がディレクションしたもの。宇宙に存在するあるひとつの星を舞台に、星空の中で演奏する大編成オーケストラと、歌う林檎を堪能することができる。なお、映像にはオーケストラの一員として東京事変のメンバーたちも登場している。

この「カーネーション」は、10月29日（土）深夜放送のTBS系「CDTV」にてテレビ初披露が決定。さらに林檎は11月11日（金）放送のテレビ朝日系「ミュージックステーション」にも生出演する。
