Just finished Shuukan AKB. I had no idea that her event lines had been so small recently, as she always struck me as one of the more popular members (with her long history and being so awesome). Of all people she doesn't deserve something like that

I'm glad they did a show to highlight it though, hopefully more people who wanted to go but didn't will take the opportunity to go now, and more people who didn't care before will start taking notice.

I feel bad for Shiichan. I feel like she is one of many who have fallen through the cracks of this large conglomerate. I'm glad she has at least a noticeable spot in A6 but I think she should have done more. As for me personally, I feel like I should pay more attention to her, but there's really nothing for me as an overseas fan to pay much attention to. I always enjoy seeing her in the LoD's though. She definitely gives off the "I want to be here" vibe. Aside from her good, fun presence, she's also stunning. In up close shots, she looks way better to me than many of the gravure veterans. Honestly I think she is one of the hotter girls in AKB48, but again, she gets so few chances to really show it.

Such is the curse of being into these groups, I guess.

The shukan special gave me Meetan vibes at times. I'm also surprised, because she was one of the first kenkyuusei to really put herself on the map by doing those crazy AKBest10 skits.

I went and left a comment on her blog, it's also the easiest way for international fans to leave her a note if they really want to I think.

yeah I also left a comment on the blog(With some english included)
Some people said I could make a kind of scrap book with photos of people in locations and I thought maybe holding a sigh/paper saying 'happy birthday shiichan' but I dunno if that's asking too much of people.
and I could then include some words next to that photo

Her blog entry that has comments about the episode now has 3319 replies!! She said in the following entry that she's really greatful and will read all the responses.

I simply adore Shiichan!!

Her blog pictures are just so damn cute

She also looks pretty good in a bikini too.

She's just so damn adorable and so funny too, she always make me smile when I see her. It's kind of sad that it took something like this to get people to notice her, but there are other girls who get ignored too. Sometimes I wonder if people even know Nakata Chisato is a part of of AKB, her blog barely gets 50 comments on most days. She probably doesn't have anyone to support her either so I can't help but feel a little defensive of Shiichan and wonder if the management was picking on her on purpose.

Though I'm still in the middle of reading them,
I'll definitely read them all!

At this moment, since passing the AKB audtion 3.5 years ago,
seeing everyone's warm comments of encouragement
makes me feel really blessed.

Actually even a month ago, it's something I wouldn't have thought of

I'm not sure what I should say but,
"Even if it gets difficult, I'll do my best in this world!";
my feelings after making that decision at 15,
the tearful feelings of my parents letting me come to Tokyo,
the me who continued to wonder, since my debut, when I would disappear from the celebrity world,
the feelings of the fans who have continued to believe in me;
I won't betray them.

In order to live up to the hopes of
the fans who support me or family members or staff members,
I'll continue to steadily work hard!

Though I've said nothing out of the ordinary,
thank you, thank you all very much for so many comments.

To everyone who supports someone like me, I love you all from the bottom of my heart.
