Onboard the Morning Musume, a multi-role drone, KIWU was catapulted off the carrier's flight deck, veering portside as it automatically homed into its target. Somewhere in the Covert Ops Room, a Navy commander smiled in satisfaction as her pet project took flight literally into the sky.

A thousand mile away, the Special Warfare team Juice=Juice was preparing to raid the enemy stronghold when static was heard over their radio. The static soon made way for a clearer radio transmission.

"This is KIWU, calling Jaguar leader. Come in, Jaguar Leader. The HVT is not in the engagement zone. Do not proceed, over"

Tomoko furrowed her eyebrows, annoyed as she turned to face her exec, Sayuki. "Who the hell is KIWU?" To which the subleader just merely shrugged and signalled the rest of the team to hunker down and stand down.

"KIWU, identify yourself, over" Tomoko spoke over the satlink.

"Jaguar leader, look up. I had my eye on you the whole time you're there" A familiar voice took control at the other end, so crystal clear that you can even hear the kimoi (disgusting) and creepy voice tone of her former Ops officer"

"Karin?!!" Tomoko was too taken aback when she spotted the silvery trail of a small UFO up in the sky, too surprised that she broke the most basic military radio protocol.

"I had my eyes on you the whole time, Tomoko-chan"

Tomoko groaned. Even though Karin had already left the special warfare community, she was feeling both oddly creeped out and at the same time relieved the DIY department head was still literally watching over her and her team.

"Why KIWU? And how the heck did it found us?"

"KIWU means...Karin Is Watching U, Captain" Commander Miyamoto replied. "It automatically homes into the microchip implanted in each Juice member's arms while you guys were sleeping in the comfort of your officers quarters"

"Euwww...that sounds sooo creepy...yet, its soo Miyamoto-san" Ruru added over the comlink. But all humour aside, they were glad that Karin was still watching over them even if its from afar.

What?!! J=J is holding a general audition for new members, and a joint one with Tsubaki?!

Whoever is chosen better be a talented girl who is worthy of wearing the Special Warfare badge..or else the power of Juice will be diluted.

So this year 2021, I expect First Lieutenant Inaba and Lieutenant Danbara to be in charge of the Hell Week member selection and training camp, taking charge of their respective dance and vocal competencies categories.

The 2 unit's CO, Captain Kanazawa and Lieutenant-Commander Yamagishi explains the application criteria.

Tsubaki's entry selection for a new Surface Warfare gunner/specialist may well be less stringent than Juice, but it doesnt make it all the more risky that one wrong selection could bring the quality of the group down.

While Juice=Juice was embarked on the missile cruiser Tsubaki on the way to their next classified mission, Warrant Officer Kiki Asakura mustered up the courage to take a sleeping photo of J=J's Commanding Officer.

This act could possibly be a retaliatory response to Captain Kanazawa's earlier stunt:

Of course, the Juice=Juice skipper didn't take too kindly of Asakura's mischievous act amounting to insubordination to a senior officer...hence she meted out the special Dekopin punishment

When the Fleet met again at homeport, all is well between the two again!

To cure their restlessness from lack of missions, the Juice members seem to be channeling their energies into improving their baking/cooking skills. One could say they are competitive with each other even when it comes to culinary skills! Truly adopting their special warfare mindset to every single aspect of life (except maybe Riai...singing skills aside, she needs to learn a thing or two about baking from her fellow Osakan LCDR Uemura before she starts on making macaroons)

KENMIN SEASIDE PARK, Ishikawa Prefecture

Sayuki was hauling the last of the diving gear of her customers on to the scuba office store when she noticed a woman in navy dress blues talking to her receptionist. The woman turned back to face her abruptly, wearing the expression of disappointment, anger and pity all at once.

"So this is what it's come to? You left a life of Special Warfare for THIS? To become a diving instructor?" Tomoko said as she folded her arms.

"It's a decent job. How did you know I was working here anyways?" Sayuki just gave a flat, nonchalant reply.

Tomoko sighed. "Hey, I was in town to visit Yuka-chan. If it weren't for the fact that Yuka-chan mentioned you are working here, I would never have known where you might've disappeared to...and this..after a month of ghosting me on LINE...THIS is the response I get?"

"Just like Yuka-chan..always minding other people's business" Sayuki muttered

Still, there was a hint of sadness in her former Captain's voice. It made Sayuki felt guilty for her abrupt departure from her Team..her beloved team members.

"No, Tomo.. after all that I've done, I don't deserve to wear that uniform anymore"

Tomoko approached her former subleader and opened her right palm, putting in it the gold trident, J=J's special warfare insigna.

"You should know better than anyone NONE of us would've cared. you've beaten yourself up for far too long...but we need you, Sayuki...I NEED my friend back"

"I'm sorry, Tomo.. It's a little too late for that" Sayuki returned the trident to the woman who used to be her most trusted, loyal confidant. As she retreated away from Tomoko, the tears start to flow from her eyes.

Later, J=J's Acting Ops Officer, 1st LT Inaba brought them to the Fleet shooting range to test the abilities of the newbies with the new pistol:

Meanwhile, somewhere on the base, Yume was forced to eat liver for the first time by Riai after the recording.. She didnt like it apparently...

During the Hinafest 2021 campaign, Special forces unit, JUICE (Joint Unit Interdiction & Combat Experts) undertook a successful joint mission with the efficient Close Air Support provided by the Fighter Squadron from Angerme:

More recently, Acting Executive Officer/acting subleader LCDR Uemura continues with the online fan signing stream event this time with their unit's skipper:

Captain Kanazawa stayed on for another hour or so to be the supporting MC for Staff Sergeant Yume Kudo's turn:

I must say, Yume has bloomed to become a really beautiful young lady. The YumeRiai combi has been talked about quite a few times from the fan's letters and I can see why this duo seems to be becoming the crowd Juice fan's favourite combi.
