It's one, single syllable. The pronounciation would be like "kuhrr", with a slight rolling of the "R" at the end.

The next issue of UpToBoy comes out in late December. What other visual magazines usually have previews?

Well, I'd say just wait a week for the wota with "contacts" to upload some camera pics.

hmm I'm thinking it's all about timing, seeing as Tsuji's only just came out this week they have to let it get all the attention from the magazines but I'm sure Miki's will get plenty of attention next week. I hope..
