Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings scored his 1,000th career point tonight against the L.A. Kings. Congrats to him!

Saw that on the news.
At first it was  :O, then it was
"Yo, microphone check one, two, what is this? The five foot assassin with the roughneck business"
"Are you my mummy?"
"Hello, Sweetie."
"Who's scruffy looking?"

Brit Hume: Tiger Woods Should 'Turn to the Christian Faith'

Not much to do with sports but...  seems like one famous sports dude won't have what it takes to recover from a sex scandal unless he trades one faith for another.

I didn't even know Woods was Buddhist but you know Fox News: there's right and there's WRONG!

^ I dunno. If it was such a quick fix don't you think Tiger's advisors would have already gotten him to do that by now?

"Hey Tiger, you cheated on your wife with over 10 women and without protection!"
"Ah...yes..well...did you all happen to know that I am now a converted Christian?"
"Oh! Well how could we stay mad at you then?!"

Wouldn't surpise me if Fox News made a claim that being Buddhist was a source of his infedility.

Thought this was pretty funny, in the recent Darts Championship there was a match between Anthony Fleet and Martin Adams. 1st round of the 1st game and I don't think I've ever seen a worse display in professional sport than Anthony Fleet did.

The darts announcer must have been desperate not to laugh when he had to shout, 5!! Fumbling with his darts, poor throws, maybe the guy was just nervous or as Colin Murray said afterwards, "You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em and know when to walk away from the bar" XD
